Just a arrived home after our breakfast at Harvester. Grays As normal food was great The atmosphere is just brilliant and service always done with a smile and very efficient. Hope all harvesters have a JAMES KAREN and JOVITA All three are just brilliant and a credit to Harvester. Can see why the Harvester Grays is always busy. Chris Murphy

Josh was a lovely young man and was very polite , patient and helpful, even gave us all nicknames by what we ate. My gammon was lovely and the Ricky horror sundae was sooo filling

A lovely venue which appeared very popular when I visited. I enjoyed the meal and it was a fair price, the huge plate made the serving appear smaller than it was but I can't fault the quality. Table service was excellent. Recommended.

I've found that Harvesters in general tend to over cook most things, but the Ribs I had as the weekend were so burnt and dry that i'm feeling thirsty just thinking about it now. Im running out if things left to try on the menu that they are able cook!

Was very impressed with this Harvester. food was spot on as well as drinks, we was served by keira who was brilliant, polite and knew exactly what she was doing, she explained as soon as we was sat, the few things that were not in stock with the biggest apologies and helped us with load our discount code after our meal (which for the life of me i could not find again). food, drinks and service was the best! Came here again with our Granddaughters & Daughter in law, booked a week earlier as it was Sunday 2nd March and knew it would be busy (which it was) Quickly seated at ironically the same table as we all had last time we all came. James came along after a bit of a wait but it was extremely busy and amazed us all when he took orders for all 6 of us without writing anything down even though everyone ordered something different, we pointed this out and he was very gracious explaining his experience. Food arrived about 30 minutes lately exactly as ordered, everything great as usual, we were never rushed even though it was busy and ordered a few desserts and extra drinks. All in all another excellent visit at the Grays Harvester and will definitely be returning. Big thanks to all staff and a special thank you to James. The Fisher Family

Never had a bad experience in a Harvester. Great menu, good value for money. Free salad....what's not to love!

Good quality food at reasonable prices

The waiter was great, amazing customer service. Very friendly and helpful with the details of the menu, and was overall pleasant experience. Asa hicks was an amazing waiter.

Terrible experience. Dinner came out at different times with things missing.Food overcooked.My wife waited 15 mins longer than the rest of us. We live fairly far a way from each other and met somewhere in the middle .Won't be going back.

It wasn't up to usual standard compared to others in the area. No allergens were asked at the dinner table. The cutlery was dirty. Food items were missing. Was a bit sad and won't be going back here.

Went in for lunchtime menu excellent and great price

I had a migraine and threw up a lot in the toilets, and the staff were really nice about it, im so grateful to the lady that we spoke to for not making me feel worse about the mess id made

The food is delicious and reasonable prices for the quality I get, the staff so friendly and helpfully specially gosia was amazing staff.

The customer service was outstanding specially Gosia was very professional and good communicative lady, the product was exactly what I was looking for.

We've always enjoyed dining here, so I'm hoping this was just an off night. The restaurant was packed, and it was clear they were severely understaffed. We waited 30 minutes just to be seated, with a line of people stretching out the door. The lone staff member at the front was juggling multiple roles – bartender, host, and table cleaner – and clearly rushed off their feet. Once seated, the service was prompt and we received our glasses and salad bowls, which we appreciated. The salad bar and refills as always, is a highlight for the kids. Our food arrived in a reasonable time based on how busy it was, and two of our three meals were good. Unfortunately, the kids' burger was overcooked and curled up round the sides. The staff were very apologetic and kindly removed it from the bill without hesitation. You could clearly see the staff were doing their best in a difficult situation. Recommendation, if the restaurant is short-staffed....it happens from time to time, they should really adjust their online booking system to avoid overcommitting, causing service levels to reduce. I mention this as most people queuing to get in had pre-booked online.

Food very good only complaint was we didnt have time to sit down and the waitress was asking what drinks we were having never even got my coat off the first 10 15 mins it was rushed never had a problem with our regular one

What a disappointing meal there was 5 in our group my grandsons birthday he ordered chicken strips came out cold sent them back asked for fish fingers instead. Waited around 35 to 40 minutes. Three of us had chicken half way through our meal found chicken was pink and some had blood near the bone my husband sent his back when returned not much difference we asked to speak to management. Manager told us that chicken will be pink near the bone when it's cooked I've never heard anything so ridiculous if everyone ate chicken like that their wouldn't be many people left l Think this Manager should do some food training what a disaster evening wouldn't come back to grays harvester C Alexander

When we arrived the manager couldn't find us on the booking and moved a few table together to get us in, we ordered 2 original combos, half a chicken, burger and a kids chicken strips, when it finally arrived the chicken strips were stone cold and all 3 chicken meals were pink on the inside and we could see blood on the chicken, we asked to have the kids meal changed to fish fingers because after tasting the cold chicken my son didn't want it as it put him off and we sent the worst of the chicken meals back, after about 20 minutes the chicken meal came back and all they had done was put the chicken on the grill for a short while on one side but the other side was still pink and covered in blood, we asked where the children's meal was and they said it wouldn't be long, the rest of us continued eating what we could around the blood parts of the chicken while my son sat there waiting and waiting for his meal, his meal arrived about 30 minutes later and he had to sit and eat alone while we watched, (this meal was a special birthday treat for my 9 year old son and it was ruined), we also asked for a drink while we were eating, my dad wanted a doom bar and was told that they had sold out, if they had told us when he ordered his first drink that there wasn't any more he would of picked a different drink, when the waitress came to us we asked to speak to the manager who then came over about 10 minutes later and when we said about the chicken being under cooked he reply was it has probed and is 60 degrees, I have worked with food for a long time and I know chicken is under cooked at 60 degrees and should be over 70 degrees and the manager just kept saying that there is always blood on chicken when it is next to the bone and it was like he was bluffing he way through and didn't know what he was talking about as he knows nothing about the cooking of the food that he sells, when we said what is he going to do abut the meal he said he would take the meal off the bill that was taken back but wouldn't do anything as we didn't send them back even though we had hardly touched the chicken, I also asked about the lack of doom bar and he replied that they had been very busy with the 50% deal and it wasn't his fault but when I said that if you know you have a big promotion going then why don't you order extra and he said he he didn't know he was going to be busy, maybe you should give your managers some training in the actual food preparation and cooking before letting them run one of your tests they know what they are talking about, I used to enjoy going to thus rest but I won't bother in future

cannot tell you anything as was turned away only took reservations it was about 6pm on a week day so not impressed

Couldn't fault. Excellent service and food portions. Good menu choices. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended

Good food quality today great service

The food here is always at a fantastic standard and the same is said for the service from Tarryn who goes out of her way to smile and have a good laugh with you. We will continue to visit and enjoy a brilliant meal with a warm atmosphere. Thank you all at Harvester!

If I could give it a lower score I would waited 15 min to be asked for drinks jacket potato was sent back as it was cremated the second time round still burned but I gave up by that point and just accepted it . The mixed grill steak was probably the worst steak I’ve eaten in a while very dry would not recomend Server was lovely though when we did get one

Both chicken dishes were lukewarm . Asked for one to be replaced but also lukewarm. Bill charged incorrectly had to query it.

We had a nice family evening meal after work and was greeted by Bimal and very pleasant and helpful member of staff. He greeted us and talked us though the menu with that wasn’t available. His service was 10/10 and very nice ans friendly he also assisted the table next door when they had a wobbly table he solved this issue for them . Both my family table and the table sitting next to us agreed the service he present was amazing . The new food menu was really good with great portion sizes and the 50% off meal voucher was a great help . The afters where amazing and I really enjoyed my dinner / desert and overall service The new decor is a great touch aswell Well done harvester and a big well done to Bimal 10/10

I visited with my family on Monday 30th for a post christmas meet up... booking was easy and kept informed as the date approached. Service (Karen) was impeccable and only wished we had left her a tip. We will book again for next year's post Christmas meet up. Well done team for a fantastic experience.

We waited over an hour for our food,when we went to order our food we was told no rotisserie chicken. I asked about the 3 meal cajan, southern and rotisserie and was told I could have a extra southern so ok that's what I ordered. Over an hour later food arrived with rotisserie chicken on ? I was told that's what then delay was for? Ok why not explain this while waiting for an hour . So wasn't overly happy with time waited and as the garlic pitta actually had nothing on it was just dry.

The chicken was so good the ribs terrible hardly any meat on them chips ok

Haven't been to Harvester for years, but went for a family gathering. The food was moderate, imo, and the portions were pretty mean. I doubt I'll ever set foot in one again.

We had Christmas dinner here and it was great ! Good portions, really food food and the service was great. I'd accidently ordered someone the wrong main and they changed it for us. Super attentative. Great value for a Christmas dinner out and we'll definitely be booking again for next year. Only thing that would have made it better would have been if there was Christmas music playing. Thank you

I walked in with 3adults 2 kids ,the man face show not welcome said if you not make reservations there had no table at all till after one and a half hours the kids so disappointed,but the main thing is only 2 or 3customer at the restaurant.the man said no table on Tuesday 4.00,I can feel the are not welcoming for kid or other races .i will not visit this place again

Food was less than appealing and half of it not even available we managed to find food but then was informed no ice cream - so puddings were limited as well. We ended up finishing meal, paying way over the top for what was received (had steak no tomotos no mushrooms so was literally steak and chips. As we left we just reminded our selves why we never rush back there.

Questionable how I was told I needed to book in advance, despite lots of seating was available, even though I had booked in advance. I'm never going back there again.

Arrived here at 11:30am and place was closed without a sign or anything even though on Google it shows that it’s opened from 9am. Disappointed

Had a lovely meal today, first course, salad and main courses for me and my husband, great value and was served by a lady called Tarryn who was courteous, polite and very friendly

If you're anything like me, the phrase Harvester restaurant maybe still conjures up images of an uninspired salad cart, and an endless range of steak and burgers. If that is the case, I'd urge you to go again and re-assess! The unlimited salad cart has had a makeover with a few more healthy additions (mixed beans and bulgur wheat anyone?) and all the old favourites. And while Harvester is still predominantly a meat-eaters paradise, there are now other items to tempt the palate - their balanced bowls look amazing, but I must admit to indulging in their Wing N Wave Combo - basically the old Surf and Turf with a shiny upgrade, very nice! The service from our server Tarryn was friendly and filled with smiles, which makes a pleasant change - she did Harvester Grays proud. Next time we want an impromptu lunchtime or evening treat, this will be firmly on our list!

Update: Unfortunately, I need to downgrade my rating, as we had an incredible rude experience with what I believe is the manager of this restaurant. We came in with some friends as we knew the place was good, but we were told first there was a 30 min wait for food and afterwards there was no food anymore. All this even though the restaurant was HALF EMPTY on a Sunday evening (5pm). The guy said we can only have drinks and when I asked whether we can have some quick snacks from the salad bar just for the kids, he said no and not tell him how to run his restaurant. Given it was a Sunday, I can only assume that there is no appetite for serving customers or he does a very poor job at allocating resources in his kitchen. In any case, we will not be coming back or recommend it anymore. In a hospitality industry, you can't simply be that rude. Keeping 2 starts as previously we had better experiences. -------------‐‐ Good pub food. Service is great, staff is quick and always around to make sure food is served and ask if you need anything else

Perfect start to a Sunday morning. Edit : Have to edit my review. We've turned out for breakfast one Sunday morning and we've been rejected. They said they have no free tables even thou it was more than half empty. Makes us feel really bad and i won't be coming here ever again.

Booked a table for myself and my young daughter. Service was attentive and felt looked after throughout. Salad bar did take a while to be replenished a few empty trays noticed. Main meal was good, and kids meal was enjoyed

I went with the extended family (9 of us) for my mum's and bro-in-law's birthdays. Service was quite slow and we weren't asked how our meal was. We ended up there for 2.5 hours due to lack of attentiveness and issues. We had to complain about several things - my mum's chicken was cold, my son's mixed grill had a rock hard, burnt egg on it and my vegan sister ended up with a chicken fry in her chips!!! We obviously raised this and the egg and chips were taken away and we were told replacements would be brought. This never happened (my mum's chicken was exchanged). We told them 15 mins later we were still waiting for the replacements but as everyone had finished eating didnt want them anymore. The manager took of the vegan meal and the chicken one from the bill. We won't be going back.

Dinner for 2, booked 45 minutes before turning up and all good on arrival. Food was great and the customer service for was excellent from Josh. Harvester needs more Josh's.

James was great help! Really friendly service and very on the job. Extremely busy when I visited but everyone was happy and got their food in good time!!🥰

It just was not a good experience. I felt everything was just below par. Ribs came out dry steak was average along with the service. Maybe they were having a bad day, however once bitten twice shy

The prices have increased greatly. If I had realised that I would have sent my meal back, I had chicken skewer. The meat was dry and hard to eat, and cold. The metal skewer I held in my hand, usually they are too hot to hold. I took it home for my cat!

Had a lovely meal here. The starter of the breaded mushrooms was so good. I had the steak flat bread for mains which I ask to be cooked blue first time out it was a Medium rare when it was returned it was cooked right but cold so a little disappointed and the return meal took ages to come back out so much so that everyone else had finished eating.
