Dock Cafe in Thurrock

Food tastes cheap and artificial. Food is ready in two minutes so not fresh. Food overpriced. If you are charging those prices at least ensure food is immaculate, fresh, homemade and tasty. Staff are rude and grumpy!

As a local guide I don't know what words other to use than AMAZING, I don't think I ever been in the place where you go over menu you order something you never had and every time it is absolutely delicious, the staff is top notch very polite and one of the best people I ever seen in any restaurant or Cafe. I can recommend this place 100% being certain you will love it, all the best to staff you should be proud of what this place is see you again very very soon !!

Best food, service, and not expenceive

I’ve ordered from Dock Cafe on numerous occasions but have only eaten in once. I went there on Wednesday as I placed an order to collect and I must say the new layout is fantastic. The food is in a league of its own. Everything is well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff are polite and attentive.

Great meals at a very reasonable price. Will definitely visit again.

The full English breakfast is my idea of the best breakfast and they serve it so well, Highly Recommend!

I liked it very much, it is a great coffee shop. I ate chicken and rice for lunch. It was very delicious, be sure to try it. The staff was very friendly. Thank you also for the quality coffee. 😌

Food is fine, but £5 for an egg and bacon sandwich is a bit steep if you ask me. It's a good thing that Thurrock has some nice cafes at reasonable prices still. Edit: Thanks for the reply. Mistakes happen i understand that. Never had a bad bit of food from you though 👌

Delicious dinner on Sunday - the place was packed. We enjoyed a range of dishes all of which were tasty and filling.

The manager of the coffee shop at the local shopping centre is amazingly friendly and welcoming.

The full english breakfast is my go to order.

Best cafe around. Always struggle to finish as you get loads. Have to though cause its so nice. Reckon you should open on Christmas day for dinner. Would be first in the queue. Mick and Sue. X

I had brunch bekkie(not bad) 2 bacon,2 eggs,mushrooms, sausage,tomatoes(fresh)beans,£8.70,,,now me granddaughter had chips,a egg,2 bacon,hash brown,just over £10.00,how the hell,complete rip of for 4 items,steer clear,better of somewhere else,never again

Typische Bar/Restaurant /Pub/Café… Wird vor allem von Einheimischen besucht. Flair einer Hafenkaschemme, dem Preis der Mahlzeit entsprechend. !!!!!Achtung!!!! Bei der Rechnung aufpassen, hier versucht man Touristen über den Tisch zu ziehen!!! Man hat es bei mir ohne Erfolg versucht!!! Essen durchschnittlich, Tee war eine „Plörre“

Used to be excellent but the salad portions getting smaller. Cutting back on quality of the chicken breast, using pre cooked instead of fresh grilled.

Had a full English breakfast and coffee ☕️ 😋 excellent quality, portions are on the large side 👌 serviced quickly with very friendly staff members. Lovely clean cafe. Update😀. Liver and bacon is delicious,😋 but I don't think I need to eat again for a week . Massive portions. Excellent food, great value for money, and 10star service.

Had a lovely Chicken Kebab take away, large portion of chicken with fluffy rice and pitta bread, accompanied by a box of assorted salad, and pots of chilli sauce and mayo. Friendly staff, who actually interacted with us !!

Everything was at high level . Service by the book , more than decent portions and food so tasty.

Myself and my colleague had food here today and it was lovely. Service was great and came very quickly. The food was hot and tasted great, great quality ingredients. The cafe is located just beside the train station. Very reasonably priced too. The place never stopped and was very busy, always a good sign. Would definitely recommend.

First timer. A spacious, clean and well looked after cafe. Prompt service and was very satisfied with the breakfast portion (i had The Olympian) My only negative was that a drink was not included with the breakfast, so when paying, the total was £11.50, which i personally think, is way too much l, just for a breakfast.

Absolutely love this restuarant, very clean food and alway hot, having just been refurbished now offers more seating area's (always hard to get seated before) and a better takeaway service, highly recommend.

Excellent place to have a tasty breakfast with a lots of choices. This shop is keeping up their quality services by maintaining a 100% hygiene standards and an outstanding level of professionalism. Wow I’m well impressed with this place... I like a good English breakfast, Great value for money which I didn’t mind parting with, it’s nice to have a breakfast that the eggs are that rough they would offer u outside, or the beans have stuck in a clump hanging on hard to the side of the saucepan, and the bacon and sausages taste like the side of a leather settee I’m sure ur know what I mean... NOT HERE THIS PLACE IS la top la swanky la nosh.. You go in u sit down and all u have do is lift ur knife n fork and enjoy .. table service is brilliant I will be returning.... Be Rude not to 😉

I came to Dock Cafe with a group; we are from outside the area we only came to visit the nearby Windrush exhibition at the Docks. We'd been on our feet all day and were so hungry! The Dock Cafe was clean, staff were efficient! There was an extensive menu of all the British comfort foods and I picked the lasagne and chips and I'm so glad I did. Comfort Cafe food cooked to perfection!!!

Fantastic friendly service , no fuss , no messing about . Order ready on time and even helped out with carton of milk at short notice , would i recommend this place the answer is defo with use again

One of if not the best cafe I’ve been too, service was brilliant food was hot, fresh and beautiful, the portions are also extremely big. The chicken kebab was better than any kebab shops in the area!! Couldnt recommend enough, you won’t be disappointed, will be going back very soon !! Keep up the good work

The worst cafe I've been to in my life and I'm a scaffolder so I'm eat out of them regularly whilst on the road.. I've never seen so much fat on bacon more fat than actual bacon.. And sausage tasted like it was made out of playdough and the eggs were as hard as nails.. whole lot straight in the bin.. Cheap and nasty food.

Superb cafe throughout covid they have delivered full main meals takeaway stylie! Liver ,bacon , chips, peas ,separate gravy All in different container ! None soggy 1st class
