Good news and bad news. Good news - Fish very nice. Free salt and vinegar. Bad news - Cold chips, dry bread roll, tea had a skin on it? Eat in the Resaurant, ate out of boxes with a wooden fork. 45p for a little sachet of sauce. Average service. I know it’s just fish and chip but it wasn’t a good experience.

very rude owner, how the staff stay working there is beyond me. She's not happy if you tell them they've over charged you.

Have visited this take away twice in July to try the meal deals. The chips always seem to be over cooked and the doner meat was very dry on the first visit. The second visit the chips were dry and not freshly cooked and the chicken meat was also dry and tasted as if it had been microwaved. Will not visit again - good meal deal prices but the price reflects the quality.

Every time I visit this place I phone my order through. Every time I collect they either deny I called them or they don’t prepare my food. Tonight I spoke to the owner who took my order. Again I arrived and no order placed and no apology given by the arrogant man who cooks the food. Again every visit one is faced with a new member of staff. The establishment is freezing cold and the inside eating area is cold and cheap seating provided. How this establishment survives in so many other local villages astounds me. The food is reasonable but the customer experience is dreadful.

I called at 1938 hours and placed an order for 2000. When I arrived, they deny receiving my order despite showing them the call on my phone. No apology from the owner. Poor customer service.

I've had fish and chips from Sunny's in bardney and they are lovely and expected the same here however sadly that wasn't the case. The fish batter was stodgy and the chips undercooked. The cheese and onion pasty was microwaved and came out hard. Whilst waiting there is the most annoying and loud humming which is made worse by having to wait a long time for the food. Won't be going again.

Food was less than average. Staff pleasant enough. We decided to sit in the cafe part had my 3 and 6 year old with me. My 3 year old needed the loo and we were told they didn't have a loo. Great maybe a sign to say you're the only establishment in the 21st century that doesn't have a loo before people sit down! Won't be revisiting.

Been here a few times, the food is ok eventually! The service is absolutely shocking! The young lady on the till I kept giving her he benefit of the doubt thinking she was new but each time I go in it’s like her first time ever serving someone! Went in the other night, having ordered kebabs and chips, we had to wait for the kebabs which is fine, she dished up our chips straight away and put them on the side, 20 minutes later they finished the kebabs, although one of them was done after 10 and left on the side also, she then took the chips out of the large bag they were in, and crammed them into a small bag with the kebabs as soon as I picked the bag up the bottom dropped out and the food went all over the floor. We got our money back and left as we did not want to wait another 20 minutes for cold soggy chips and kebabs. The place has potential as food can be nice but it is ruined by the poor service

I am allergic to Garlic and often struggle to find things to eat in restaurants. The staff here were so friendly, they checked through ingredients and even offered to tweak the menu to make me something. Even though the pub is a Hungry Horse, the staff made it feel like a local, rather than a franchise.

Nice food, better than most pub grub we've experienced recently. Good service and pleasant staff. Definitely visit again.

After a long mornings work from 2am to 1pm I arranged to meet my wife for a chilled drink before heading home. We decided to meet and try out our local pub, The Lincoln Green as we understood it is under new owners and would like to support it.. Sadly on being asked if we were drinking only I was asked if we would go into the bar area. The lady was friendly and I have absolutely no issues with her as this is obviously(in my view) a very misguided policy. I informed her that we would not wish to do that as in the past we have found it cold with wooden floors which when the football is on makes it noisy. I have no issues with this in general as I enjoy watching football and make special trips to do so at pubs for the atmosphere but on this occasion myself and my wife just wanted a quiet, comfortable drink together. I explained this and added that the comfortable restaurant was totally empty. We were offered the chance begrudgingly to sit tucked around the corner as a large table(15 which soon turned to 8) was expected shortly. She declared that on this occasion we could but she had to state she couldn't promise in the future. I told her that we wouldn't waste our time trying in the future. We will just go straight to the CENTURION or HARROWS where we know we can sit in comfort and nice decoration for a quiet drink. Things I don't understand-1) if I was eating I would much prefer some atmosphere with some drinkers as opposed to an empty restaurant. 2) Had it been 11.30 with the possibility of a full restaurant I can understand not wishing to take tables but this was 2pm and totally empty. 3) we were not a noisy group who would be shouting and swearing and could spoil someone's dining experience 4) Surely a pub should be able to cater for diners, sports and football fans AND couples hoping for just a nice drink. Sadly, unless this policy changes we will not be back(unless to watch the football)
