Dirty tables on the way in. Never looks like they have enough staff..

Had the 11' sharing dessert pizza. It's worse than eating out of a bin.

Food came out quick, not amazing quality as no butter was available for the toast but it filled a hole.

Quick service at the bar but there was lipstick on the wineglass. Food came quickly but both main and dessert courses were tepid. Tabletop was tacky and the cutlery needed wiping before use.

Decent enough for and cheap enough, only know what you get at a weatherspoons. We visit every week at some point for coffee.

I love a ‘spoons vegetarian breakfast and this didn’t disappoint. Friendly and warm service. Tables were clean (it was the morning). Only one overly loud man doing some bad parenting. I did manage to park my motorbike right outside the doors, but I don’t think that’s encouraged. There are places to put bicycles, though.

Wetherspoons is what it is. It doesn't pretend to be anything else. I went there with my mate , we had a curry each. He had a pint of bitter, and I had a coffee. The cost was around twenty pounds,

Ideal place for an early morning visit. I use it when my car goes in for service etc, and it's a good place to sit and have unlimited coffee while I wait.

We visited the Packhorse Inn for dinner. We found a table very easily and it wasn't too busy on a weekday. The restaurant was very clean and the tables were cleared around us very quickly. We received our food and drinks very quickly also. The staff were friendly.

Awful experience.Placed order on the app and paid to be told 2 of our meals were not available to get something else and pay any difference .The drinks took over 15 mins to arrive .We ordered a side garlic bread that was like a brick .The chips were undercooked .My daughters ham and cheese wrap was full of fatty ham .The pub seemed to have alot of very young drinkers being loud and vile ( this was at 4pm) not great if you have children with you .We left most of our meals and exited quickly , not a atmosphere you can enjoy a meal in . Definitely do not recommend unless you like rubbish food and poor service .

Arrived Friday 19th at 14.00 for lunch with relatives. There was no chicken?? Why?? I ordered the Pasta Alfredo. When it came, with Maple cured bacon, it looked small, dry and unappetising and had obviously been heated up in a microwave. I asked the server if this was an adult portion and he seemed very defensive, rather than asking what I would like instead. I eventually ordered ham, egg and chips which was average. For dessert I had a Sticky toffee pudding with custard. Again heated up in a microwave as the custard had a skin on it. The atmosphere was noisy and the whole place could do with a good clean. I will never eat here again.

I am a Weatherspoons fan. They saved this lovely coaching inn and made it relevant to today. Service is fast and efficient but it doesn't stop staff here being friendly and sensible. A good place for lunch.

Definitely one of the better wetherspoons well worth a visit

Always a good choice for breakfast and coffee. A brown bread option would be the cherry on the cake for the vegan breakfast.

Great place for food and drink.

It's a spoons chain pub. Cheap drinks and food. It's never much of an atmosphere, but ok, a good solid place, nothing bad or great. Online ordering is fast, so this is the best of ordering. Good selection of non alcohol beers too.

Reasonable food at reasonable prices, you know the how it is. Some are better than others and this one is right in the middle of the ratings. The staff were friendly enough on a semi busy afternoon. We managed to secure a traditional Wetherspoons booth, every pub in the chain has them. A table and essentially a cushioned picnic bench on either side. This one had the added extra of the cushion not being fixed and so I slid across the bench like a eel on an ice rink. At least it added a bit of drama to the proceedings... The food arrived and was acceptable enough. The chips were stodgy and warm which is sometimes the 'Spoons normal. Aside from that the chicken was nice enough and the burger was quite tasty. Not really memorable, not really that bad.

Your typical cosy homely pub with good pub grub. I had the ramen noodles which was lush. Have been here many times and it's reliable, warn and friendly toilets always clean and service always happy ☺️

Came here yesterday, service was shocking by one of the assistant managers!! Asked where my drink was as my food had already been put 10 mins and the way I was spoken to was disgusting !!! Service with a smile yeah right !! AVOID

After refusing to honour my anglo-hispanic heritage, the packhorse has lost it's charm Tequila and eggs made the small town of Cuervania strong against it's north American oppressors Vive Mantequilla !

You know what you are getting with this pub chain. You get good value for money, the buildings they use are mainly old ones and when renovated they are so tastefully done.

Best pub in Sleaford. £2.63 pint. Had 4 pints Newby Wyke Black Rain 6% and Reverend James 4.5. Excellent beer quality. 3 day trip so visited all pubs.

Best Wetherspoons in Sleaford. As a wheelchair user I love the access from the street to the bar. The accessible toilets are also very good. The food is typical Wetherspoon and basic but good.

Great food at a really reasonable price. We visited on curry night. A great selection served with poppadoms and naan bread. Our meals were extremely reasonably priced, served promptly, the food was hot, tasty and there was plenty of it. The bar had a great atmosphere, the staff were polite and there was a good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

I have had many good meals here with a friend and I'm sure we will continue to do so, but the recent Xmas meal was disappointing, in that we were both still hungry afterwards. Otherwise would have been a 5-star review. The Xmas meal was 50% more expensive than our usual spend, so we had expected a larger portion.

Waited 10 minutes to be served. Held a £20 note up but ignored. Other people coming in and served straight away. We were going to have a meal and a few drinks. We left and went to another pub. I told the girl serving I was not impressed.

My wife and I had breakfast here this morning. My bacon and eggs were cold. The beans were no more than a spoonful. There was one small mushroom. The toast was cold. My wife’s tomato was burnt. The rest rest of her meal was cold too. The place was not that busy. We were really disappointed.

Went on a Sunday evening, meeting lots of family members (I live in Scotland, so it's probably the only time I'll be here). The place is pretty large, but if there are more than 4 of you, the only chance you'll get of sitting next to each other is if you go to the back and move tables together (the staff didn't mind this). Toilets are up a load of stairs, though there's one for disabled downstairs. Food arrived pretty quickly, and staff were all very friendly. Would go back if I didn't live 300 miles away.

Absolutely appalled by our service today. We go to order a pizza simply and get asked for id. Show them two forms of id to prove our age and we get rejected twice. If there was a negative star I would have no hesitation in clicking that. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECCOMEND

Too dark, typical spoons, very good prices though

Dropped in on a Friday afternoon, ordered food on the app. Plenty of availability and food/drink arrived quickly. Pizza was hot and crispy. Tables were cleared quickly and wiped down. Staff were friendly. Can’t fault this Spoons. Will visit again when back visiting family.

I'm not usually one to write negative reviews, but if I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered the vegan breakfast, took ages for the food to come despite it not being busy, and the food was also cold. What really put me off though was finding a large curly hair in the beans. I would never recommend ordering food from here. I wasn't expecting the world from a spoons, but food being served hot and not being contaminated is the bare minimum.

Ordered two sausage sandwiches for breakfast,they were brought to us after about 15 minutes and my husband actually thought the bread was toasted it was like sandpaper,as soon as it was served to us I felt the bread it was stale,I asked the waiter to feel it,he said he would return it to the kitchen,after ten minutes wait we were given our sandwiches in soft bread as it should if been in the first place.

Visited for sister’s GCSE results day for breakfast. Understaffed, waited over 50 minutes for food. Unhappy staff and customers. Cold beans but good pancakes.

Visited the pack horse in sleaford today (11th july) I must say such a lovely man behind the bar couldn't do enough for us - his manner was excellent a credit to the pub

Had an evening meal with my wife, food was good but took a while to find a clean table that had been cleared of dirty crockery. Seemed really short staffed tonight and gave the overall impression of general malaise, with no management oversight. Been attending for 20 years but won't be returning for a while unfortunately.

Always a lovely pub to come to, it's got a great atmosphere but it's not too loud, the food is always nice and the staff are super friendly.

I went in there on study leave and I had an ID just to be in in there to prove I'm 16. I told him I just left school and he said he needed a physical copy. I didn't want to go on a bender, I just wanted pancakes. Nice carpet though. Wasn't as sticky as last time.

Been here a few times now with a group of friends and every time we've been we have had an issue with the food and someone has had to send something back. Although it is usually resolved with either a change or a refund, it seems to be a consistent problem and probably needs looking at.

Sausage and mash wasn't available, nor was the all day brunch. So that was a waste of time for me and my son.

A gathering of family , we had some items from the lunch menu and it was very nice . Also and unusually when I asked for no ice , that's how it came . I'm not the titanic nor am I a penguin , you'd be surprised how many barstaff think they know better than you . Good job . Crack on .

appaling service from only one specific member of staff Ethan, the boy that served us at the bar, was incredibly rude towards me and my friend when we made the simple complaint that one of our meals had been served to us incorrectly. Thanks to the other man and girl on the bar, we resolved the problem quickly it really does not take much to have a positive attitude toward a customer. I should hope that the other members of the team feel ashamed to be brought down from their brilliance by such incompetence and blatant disrespect.

I used to go to a J D Weatherspoons as often and the more the better not just because of the beer but the quality and size of the meals but over the past few years it started to go down hill especially with the food quality and size it shows in the amount of people calling in. Shame.

The drink service was a bit slow

The food was pretty good. We booked a table for 15 for a birthday. They'd reserved a table for 10, even though there were 15 pre-ordered meals. They managed to drag another table over at a 45 degree angle. The table was for 6pm and we were still waiting for food at 7pm. It was Saturday, and very busy and loud. The staff were helpful and polite but very busy and overworked.
