The best restaurants serving British food in England

Horrendous service, asked for ice cream in a tub, the server made a mistake, proceeded to remove the ice cream from the cone and then placed the left over Ice cream into a tub!! He then was using the same cone on another flavoured ice cream.. horrendous behaviour. I then asked for the cone to compensate the mishap he made with the order, he then had the gall to ask me for 30 pence extra for that. Try the cafe on the pier front, much better service there, please avoid this place!

Ignore the negative reviews. If you think something is too expensive, don't buy it! Coffee tastes are a matter of opinion, however, the coffee is actually brilliant! Flat whites and vanilla lattes are our go-to's. They also offer tasty sourdough toasties with a selection of fillings, amongst a selection of hot and cold food. We've enjoyed a snack here a few times whilst walking the dog through Trent Park. I'd absolutely recommend!

Llegó para los más de 60 s sopa y un rollo y como de costumbre la experiencia fue pobre. Cada vez o no hay sopa o se calienta, que cuando está listo no está caliente en absoluto. Se supone que es algo bueno durante más de 60 s, pero todo parece estar diseñado para alejar a la gente. Si Asda va a ofrecer esto al menos hacerlo bien.

Shocking service initially there were only 4/5 orders on the screen . However I still waited 20 minutes. Nobody appeared to be in charge and eventually there were around 20 people waiting . Everyone seemed to working at a slow pace . Compared to every other Macdonalds I’ve visited , this was my first visit here , the service and response from team members was poor .

No Gluten free savoury options in fridge. No porridge. Only highly calorific and sugary gluten free brownies or apricot crunch bar at til and pricey!

Will not stop here again, every time we have stopped there have been more toilets out of service. This time only my husband went and said they were filthy so I didn't bother using the ladies. If you can hold on until Tibshelf, only 16 miles further on.

siow slow service cant believe this cafe is still open you would think this place would get there act together but not a chance try costa or marks cafe where you will be served a lot faster avoid this mess of a place.

I paid £25 for sausage, chips, and curry sauce, but what I received was oven chips, a greasy sausage, and watery curry sauce. The quality was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the staff were rude and the restaurant was in a dirty condition. I expect much better service and food for that price.

Like others, I have previously found this cafe to be pretty terrible. Today, however the service was excellent, bright and cheerful. Food was great and ultimate breakfast arrived in 8 minutes. Ruby who served me was brilliant!

There range of chicken burgers are all so lovely, you definitely need to try their fire cracker and spicy burger. They're different to the mainstream chicken shops, the' re food has consistency and is very clean in terms of presentation and not so oily like...

Food and drinks are very nice and arrived quickly. My go-to starbucks since it’s the nearest and the nicest one i know of.

I wish I'd check the reviews on this site before I ordered from this so called chip shop. Like previous reviewers I was disgusted with the price and the poor quality of the meal. One regular haddock, one regular cod and a large chips. £22. The chips are burnt oven chips and the fish is a soggy batter bearing a limp fish. Both were cold. I'd ordered sachets of vinegar and salt too. Neither were in there. This is probably a chain store and the people who work there just can't be bothered to try and make a decent meal. This shop should be removed from the site at Primrose Valley as it is an affront to Fish and chips on a coast that bears some of the best Fish and Chip shops in the country.
