Will not stop here again, every time we have stopped there have been more toilets out of service. This time only my husband went and said they were filthy so I didn't bother using the ladies. If you can hold on until Tibshelf, only 16 miles further on.

This place does rather suck on the soul, nothing endearing at all! We all need to use them but this one is fairly basic and underwhelming.

Your travelling and need a stop for toilet and a drink, that's what you'll get here, the service is ok, the place is just a stop and go nothing more to see, move back on the road, its a bit dated,

The toilets were fairly clean. There are a few small retail outlets to get supplies for continuing your journey, which were on the steep side in terms of prices. The food outlets were the usual offerings, including a Burger King. Our food was served hot and met expectations. A reasonable place to stretch your legs and break up the journey. Better than some of the other motorway service stations. .

This is probably the worst service station I've been to in a while. We missed the donnington services and drove on to Trowell. With a dog, the place is a nightmare. No outside grass area and only 1 table to sit on. This has costa cups left from other people left all over the table. Not a great place to stop. I see money has been put into this area, but clearly not on the outside. Would I go back again when head up North? Errr no thanks. Think I'll try the one before (or after)

I stopped for lunch to break up a 5hour drive, I really wish I hadn't bothered. I had roast chicken with a jacket potato and salad. The Chicken was on the pink side, the jacket potato was hard in the middle and the salad looked like it had been prepared yesterday and gone limp. I could have complained but the other options were to have exactly the same, or fish that had obviously been cooked for too long and the batter was no longer golden, more like a rust colour, and the lasagna looked even less appetising. Settled for a Costa in the end.

Confusing layout - used greggs as I thought they'd be best value - had a toaster heated and returned to me in a paper bag , no evidence the staff there have spatial awareness

Oh my lord! The food here is truly awful. Taking mum home and dropped in for a quick bite and the food is almost unrecognisable. Coffee is pretty good but do not be tempted to eat!

Pease cottage services was where my 2 workmates and I called into on the way home from a weekend working in Brighton, we bought 3 breakfasts from eat & drink company, food awful, service from assistants who's English was poor to say the least was equally as poor, food cold, sausages were cold cheap and not nice, tomatoes looked about a week old, bill was £29.30. Defiantly the worst breakfast I have ever had the misfortune to buy, avoid this company like the plague AWFUL :0(

Popped into Cherwell Valley services for some breakfast, everything looked ok on ordering, the man behind the counter cooked the food and served it to us. Then it was time to pay. Waited, and waited and waited. No one at the tills, big queue of angry hungry people behind us. The man who cooked the food said he was sorry but we had to pay over at Costa Coffee which was 11 people deep all waited for coffee. Food was almost cold by the time we paid. A great breakfast turned rubbish because of management stupidity.

Don't buy from here hands down the worst greggs I've been to. All the food is cold and staff are lacking brain capacity. Wouldn't even refund my money after charging me 3.10 for 2 cold sausage rolls almost out of the fridge cold, wouldn't even let me exchange it for the 4 cold ones they sell in a pack instead. Should either change management or close down so something different could open that actually serve at least warm food...

Came here with my family. The food overall was good, has soup for starter and burger for main. But they didn't bring out me and my brother's mains and side salads and we only got our side of chips. They forgot a lot of my family's orders aswell. The staff were very apologetic about the situation and gave us free drinks.

Walked in for something to eat and walked out again! The last post is an apt name as that's what would be playing if you ate from this pub. The place was filthy with an entire table for 4 covered in empty glasses. Sauces smeared all over another table and food all over the floor. We managed to find a table not covered in empties or uneaten food and found a hair stuck to the inside of the menu. I'm not particularly fussy but it doesn't take a genius to know that hygiene isn't near the top of the pub's priorities. In order to avoid salmonella, we left and lived to moan another day. Don't even let your dog eat here.
