Absolutely diabolical food, over done hash browns, fried bread, black pudding and fried eggs, the mushrooms tasted fusty, the sausage was cheap and nasty, the bacon was very fatty, I did manage to eat some beans but left everything else, the table was very sticky and lots of tables still had plates on them. The only thing that deserves top marks was the customer service assistant, she was very pleasant and helpful.

We had the ultimate breakfast which was absolutely disgusting!!! The fried eggs were overdone the yolks were rock hard, the mushrooms had a funny taste don't know what they was cocked in. The ash browns were overdone they were like cardboard and the black pudding was overdone, very dry. Sausage bacon fried bread and beans was okay. It is safe to say I will not be eating at Morrisons again.

Just been at Morrison cafe York rd Doncaster for something to eat and goodness me it was shocking I ordered Gammon Egg Chips and peas . I did make a comment when it arrived about the meal anyway I ended up taking it back and they refunded me the money asked me if I wanted anything else but I said no Don’t think I’ll eat there again unless it improves

Ordered a Sunday lunch it came cold so I took it back staff took it back sent another one it was no better so left it wouldn’t recomend to any one really dissatisfied

I very rarely review cafés in supermarkets, but I'll make an exeption for this one, based on several recent visits: they never have any stock, customer service is appaling and the food is dire, when you can get any! Don't bother.

What to say? Whole visit was terrible, food not available, every table dirty, no cups for coffee and food was very poor quality, give the place a miss

The owners/management need to get their act together and get more staff. We waited over 5 minutes at the till, along with a few other customers, as no one was there. Here you make your own drinks at a machine and they were going cold. Once we'd purchased our drinks there was difficulty finding a clean table to sit at as many were not cleared or wiped clean.

Not the best today. Ordered battered sausage and chips from the electric menu but was told a few minutes later that the battered sausage wasn’t available so changed to fish. When it arrived the fish was nice but the chips were over cooked and the peas cold. Our table was dirty and the whole cafe looked like it needed a few more staff members to keep on top of the dirty pots and cleanliness.

Worst Xmas dinner ever. Although I ordered a small meal the portions and plate are tiny. Hard carrots and both sprouts. Hard stuffing and paper thin turkey slice. Price £5.75. Wish I’d had a breakfast elsewhere.

I begrudge having to give one star. Appalling on every level. I don’t mind self service but you even have to boil the kettle yourself! No coffee and no tea spoons

Ordered 2 breakfasts with poached eggs waited 30 minutes for the rude waitress called Donna to stomp up to our table and say 'NO POACHED EGGS !' no apology for making us wait half an hour to be told this or nothing just went to walk off, before doing so I said 'ok so what to we do then ?' Reply 'SCRAMBLED OR FRIED THATS IT !. I then though ok very odd that you can do those and not poached, I will just go and get a refund I then stood at the till for a further 15 minutes being told 'WE WILL BE WITH YOU WHEN WE CAN !' I finally got served and had my refund slammed in my hand still no apology. I believe that morriosons really need to train individuals like this in Customer Service. I can't fault any of the other staff as they seemed friendly enough. If I could give 0 stars if I could. P.S left hungry.

This cafe used to be an excellent cafe, no idea what happened to it. It used to be always packed and had great service, now the service is appalling with grumpy staff. The fish and chips were cold and the chips burnt to a crisp. Never again will we be coming here, a complete waste of money.

Went to get two cards for my nephew they were £2.75 no verse even the front was unacceptable. Cafe was closed at 5:30 Not happy at all

Got there with my partner not bissy .got order took quickly .and friendly. Food came .plates were cold ,food was only just warm . The food it's self was enabled. But would of been nicer hot .disappointed all in all .was looking forward to it .

I drove 10 miles for the specific purpose of having a breakfast at Morrison's cafe. On ordering the breakfast I was told it would be forty minutes, would that be alright? No of course that's not alright, its completely unacceptable to spend that long waiting to be served, complete waste of my day. Morrisons need to employ more staff or employ faster moving staff. Pathetic service.

We ordered pie and chips it was cold pie had no meat in it.then one us orderd a breakfast terrible never again a waste money

Went to do weekly shop last week always had sausage egg chips and beens a treat as ime a penioner .last time they have new smaller plates they charge 7o pence for each item now ther super new menue just charge more for less .the staff are lovely . Ill not be going there again .so so there greed has made them a few bob on the meal which was half the size.but lost them eighty quid a week on there shopping sales .we dont mind paying in yorkshire if its value .the cafe was empty and no wonder

Called into the York road store yesterday, after shopping we thought we'd have breakfast in the cafe, stood in the queue for about 15 minutes along with about 8 other people, there was at least 6/8 tables empty, but nobody was clearing or cleaning them to seat the people waiting, eventually we were given a table number, only to find out it was too late for breakfast, absolutely unorganized, we left, other people were also unimpressed,

Just had the big daddy breakfast. Tinned mushrooms, didn't enjoy them, poor quality sausage, tasteless. The fried bread was a crust, well, I literally couldn't cut it with my knife, it was rock hard! I only ate it because I was hungry and have no cooker due to the floods. I think this cafe went downhill a long time ago, I used to love the fish and chips here, they were called morrisons famous fish and chips, well their famous for the wrong reasons now. I'm not a serial moaner or hard to please, I believe if someone does well they should be told and vice versa. Don't be put off by the cafe because its a very nice store, the quality and freshness of the goods are excellent and most of the staff are very friendly.

Ok so we visited the restaurant 5 days ago as a family. Made a complaint to head office as was filthy; dirty trays, desserts not covered and clearly drying out looking less than appetising, dirty cutlery and tables, waiting times very long when not at all busy. Had a response from customer services that will improve. Well been again today against my better judgement but our 4 year old was hungry. OMG! Worse! Crockery returned by other customers dirty, tables not cleared and filthy, customers seen clearing their own tables to sit at as well as Detroit is from floor, little or no cutlery available to eat with, disgusting. Spoke to store manager who advised they had received previous complaint but when spoke to the restaurant manager they felt must be another store as not seen any problems and apparently the environmental health had recently visited and awarded 5 stars! Well they needed to see from the customers side. There is clearly no quality assurance system in place. Today the manager felt that today’s presentation may be because of affect of recent floods (staffing and facilities) until I pointed out the last time was before the weather changed. Surely if staffing is going to affect cleanliness etc, then this service should have been scaled back to just hot drinks and sandwiches or close the restaurant completely for the brief period. Whilst we were in there a customer say on the next table was physically sick. Now I’m not saying it was anything to do with the restaurant or morrisons but in terms of cleaning, the staff placed a wet floor sign next to the table but for the rest of the time we were there, did not come back to clean the floor or ask us to move whilst that was being done. A young mum and her baby approached it to sit down until we advised her not to. Where is the business continuity planning Morrison’s? Particularly if your manager is now saying the floods affected ability to operate? Should have been scaled back to cope if that was the case but given this was the same before then, it is questionable. Awful, disgusting. Never again.

A spacious store to shop in,has some fruits and meats you dont see in the other supermarkets as they have their own farms etc great fresh salad bar,good quality all round and helpful and friendly staff

Came here to do some shopping staff were helpful on helping me find items but were fab in helping my little boy chose the best carrots (for his non existent pet rabbit) they gave him a bag and helped chose 3 big ones so we can feed the wild rabbits instead nice to see staff have the time for customers and there kids as this made my little boys day thankyou

Absolutely disgusting service today I tried to get a slush for my grandson only to get us both covered in raspberry cordial because apparently the machine was out of order but with no sign to this affect . When I eventually found a member of staff to listen to me they put a sign on it I was offered no apology for the state we were in and and when I asked for a clean wet cloth to get the cordial off us I was offered a dirty jay cloth that he had just been cleaning tables with . I understand these things happen but the cloth did it for me . Won’t be eating there again

We love morrisons cafe and visit regularly. Decent food, decemt portions, decent price. Unfortunately today we were disappointed. Ordered 3 breakfast using the new computer ordering system. This allows you to tweak your breakfast. Didn't have to wait long, orders weren't correct and most of it was over cooked. Bacon, hash browns and sausage looked like they were almost cremated in the fryer. We were too hungry to wait and ate what we could. Very disappointed :-(

I wouldn’t come here if your in a rush as we did have to wait about a hour for the food to arrive The food when it came was very filling and hot the staff were friendly felt sorry for them cause people moaning at them for the time it taking. Young gent who came over was very sorry for the wait felt bad for him

We went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The portions are pretty decent and as you’d expect from a supermarket the food is reasonably priced. If you’re not fussed about eating inside a supermarket then it’s a decent place to get a quick bite to eat whilst calling for shopping.

Went for breakfast at Morrison's , as we usually do once a week. Today's breakfast was very poor, the bacon was cremated as was the fried bread and the egg was hard. We do ask for the bacon to be crispy but not burnt black. Pointed the bacon out to the waitress who offered to change it but I declined as the time I would have waited, my breakfast would have gone cold. We've only had this issue once before when the usual cook was off, it appears this has happened again. Why aren't the cooks trained up to a generic standard, when a good one is off on leave the standard of cooking drops right off.

Put into sat nav the post code, but could not easily see Morrisons from where we arrived from so went past the traffic light junction for the shop turning. Had to go up another street & 3 point turn & come back. As it was early car park was empty almost. Nice big shop with everything laid out pretty well, a bakery, Deli etc all well stocked & friendly helpful staff. Leaving the car park we headed to the main road only to find we could only turn right (later we found there is a parallel road that we could have used that would allow a left turn but it was not clear or marked. We then had to go along York Road in the wrong direction , turn off & turn around, not very helpful.

Not been in this supermarket cafe for a few years. I was quietly surprised at the very good standards and delivery here. Service, customer service was all very good. Food and drinks were spot on. Place I will re-visit on my next time in this supermarket.
