I'm a loyal customer to Asda. I have been for many years now. Been in today at 17:00 hours to get some shopping. Filled my bag pack up after paying for my food and still had some left to put in a shopping bag. Asked the young lady if I could get a shopping bag. She asked if I was paying for the bag separate and I said yes. She then put the bag through and said you’ll have to pay for the other stuff that I already payed for. I tried showing her the receipt but she wasn’t bothered about looking at it. She then decided to get security to stop me and ask if I had payed for everything. I felt embarrassed and discriminated by that since I’m always at Asda buying food. It’s a shame that one person who doesn’t like life in Asda spoils the service and experience for customers. Good reviews go far but bad reviews go further. She needs an office job 😂🤣😅

The pharmacy is a disgrace.giving the wrong inhaler then they wouldn't replace.never had an issue before had to get another prescription from doctors as they refused to replace ..and doctor gas changed where I have my prescription from as they say they do it all the time yo get more money out of people

If I could rate it a zero, I would. Took a celiac pizza base to the pizza counter and asked for them to create me a pizza as my partner has celiac disease. After a conversation with a staff member who got quite verbally intimidating and wasn't very understanding at all, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager again refused to cater for my dietary requirements, even though at an Asda we have visited elsewhere they did this for us no problem, we left feeling very discriminated against and will not be returning. We will also be taking it up with Asda customer services themselves.

Me and my mam where is asda and the people where standing around the whoopsy Isle and the man was pricing them down and people where asking if they could reduce this and that for them before he even got to the shelf they were on and there was a load of people hanging around and we could not get past and the woman who worked there told us to move with the trolley we couldn't because of the people standing there the woman told them to come back in 10 minutes but no one moved out the way so the Isle was packed with people waiting for him to reduce the food it is disgusting how they let the people do this they should tell them to come back after they have done it all not stand around holding up the Isle up and asking if they can reduce the things they have already got in there baskets and they do it for them too. You should do what other shops do take it out the back and then go around asking people if they want anything of the trolley before they they take it to the reduced Isle. It is disgusting how people can get away with doing it something should be done about it.

A very rude driver delivered my shop with no carrier bags in trays, as I was very ill I was unable to unpack the shopping whilst he waited. I asked the driver to pop back to pick up the four trays and was rudely told he couldn't. Since then I have made 3 phone calls to ASDA customer services as, whilst I have been waiting for the collection of these huge tray,s my front door has been damaged in the wind as the trays have blown around- I have insufficient storage space to keep them indoors. During the 3 phone calls promises have been made to collect the trays and an email to explore the damage to my front door - neither has happened. Shocking disgusting treatment from ASDA, I will never use my local ASDA store again.

To start the place is almost spotless and they have lots of both indoor and outdoor space. As for the food the fish is beautifully flakey, the mushy peas are perfect, the curry sauce is pleasant and the chips are nothing special. Over all it's good and I would come here again

Only dropped two stars because it was freezing inside and it was nearly empty so atmosphere was zero. Two for a birthday bottomless brunch, cocktails brilliant food hot and very tasty with excellent service and the staff singing happy birthday made for a great tuesday afternoon, ( we work stupid shifts ) well done all.

I went to Life of Riley on Sunday/Monday morning 4th/5th August 2024. We used to call it Spiker Riley as in the past we have had attempts to spike our drinks. The other night we were there till 02:30 and the security in there were absolutely fantastic. One guy inside spotting any trouble and two guys on the door responding. The guys were professional polite and strong when required.My wife and myself felt totally safe as there is the usual mix of Bumpers on Hairy Mikers night. Excellent work guys.
