This friendly pub is the second oldest pub in South Shields and has a wonderful view across the river and out to sea. Their Sunday dinners are delicious easily the best roasts in the area, with all the trimmings and generous helpings.
Highly recommended to all.
Wolfmann’s is a pretty unique place in South Shields. Great healthy food, lovely surroundings and very nice staff. Our favourites are the Korean Fried Chicken and anything from the sea! There’s a distinctly Asian vibe with lots of the food but they also do great breakfasts, burgers and a fantastic Sunday lunch. There is also a lovely selection of cakes in the cabinet if you fancy something sweet.
We need to make sure that good quality neighbourhood eateries like this stay the distance, so if you are looking for somewhere in South Shields that won’t disappoint, definitely try Wolfmann’s!
Fantastic place to visit friendly staff excellent service and quality food would highly recommend this place to visit any time good prices and great service fantastic
Went here for 1st time, Ordered omelette but run out of salad so just had chips, got 1 salt packet and 1 vinegar packet, Quick n friendly service, quite expensive
It's was ok so 3/5
I reviewed this place last year and mentioned how difficult food is for coeliac sufferers, well now there's even more selection. Sausages, pizza, curry sauce, scotch egg, chocolate cake, cheese cake, trifle. We had another huge and delicious meal at a fantastic price. Recommended.
One of the best family owned cafe's in South Shields. Always a smile when we show up and the food is amazing. Julie and Ian make you feel like you're at home and not in a cafe.
Let’s be honest, the food is what matters, and in this case it’s beautiful. However, as a reviewer, I need to paint the whole picture. The restaurant is a small, shabby eatery with no proper bar and it’s quite run down. The toilet is directly off the dining room so not ideal. The service is good and the food is tasty and well priced, but if you’re going for a special occasion like a birthday, I’d have to recommend you go somewhere more upmarket. This was a curry place for years and they haven’t spent money on it since. I hope they do well, and I’ll continue to go, but it feels like half a job. Dining out is a treat for most of us and we want the entire experience.
Jess and family had a lovely day at pooches cafe. Helping Luna celebrate her birthday . Blaze and Callum are amazing hosts welcoming and friendly .
Human food is amazing my two boys recommend chocolate cake it was best they ever tasted . And pooches party food looked just as good . Nothing was any trouble Blaze and Callum happily helped with any requests to keep both humans and pooches happy . Well worth a visit with your 4 legged friends.
A gorgeous little traditional bakery with so many amazing products on offer.
Visited to pick up some cakes for the office, you are absolutely spoiled for choice when it comes to sweet treats. I ordered a selection, opting for the Manchester tart cheesecake for myself, which was unreal!
The staff were all really friendly and served everyone as quickly as possible, as it was incredibly busy.
I can’t wait to go back again to try out some of the fresh bread and pies!
A grest local Chinese takeaway. There are very good ones locally which I have tried but this one always has really good quality and for a good price. Consistent in quality.
