Sea View Chop Suey House in South Tyneside

We only ordered beef curry, fried rice and extra curry sauce this time. Although we used to go weekly here when we were younger and pre kids, there is so much more choice nowadays. However, for us, there is so taste is just as good as it always has been. Delivery was quicker than stated and brought back happy memories.

The menu has a wide variety of dishes and was reasonably priced too. The shop was clean and the member of staff behind the counter was very friendly and polite. It was easy enough to park near by. The food was lovely, the curry tasty and the chips crispy. We will return and next time we might go for the ‘Munchy Box’ it sounds amazing!

Great quality since we’ve been going there since 1985! Maybes we’re biased, but can’t fault the quality and quantity.

The Sea View (miles from the sea) has been around for decades and we often defer back to it as it has happy memories for us. (I was asked to become engaged one night as we walked home with our takeaway). The go too was beef curry, fried rice and curry sauce. Our palate has changed over the years but tonight (adding mushrooms) we reverted to our go too. It’s like comfort food, still as good as decades ago.
