A grest local Chinese takeaway. There are very good ones locally which I have tried but this one always has really good quality and for a good price. Consistent in quality.

We only ordered beef curry, fried rice and extra curry sauce this time. Although we used to go weekly here when we were younger and pre kids, there is so much more choice nowadays. However, for us, there is so taste is just as good as it always has been. Delivery was quicker than stated and brought back happy memories.

We fancied a curry but not too much so opted for what we knew would be great. Beef, mushrooms, fried rice and curry sauce. Enough to share and some rice left over. Class

Absolutely horrendous experience. The service was awful, and the food quality was beyond disappointing. My partner and I didn’t feel like cooking, so we decided to try a Chinese takeaway in South Shields for the first time. After checking reviews, this place seemed to have better ratings than the others, so we gave it a shot—what a mistake. I ordered beef fried rice, and the beef was absolutely disgusting. It was so tough and chewy that I had to keep chewing endlessly just to get through it. I can’t even imagine how long they must have kept it frozen for it to turn out like that. It was, without a doubt, one of the worst meals I have ever had. This experience was so bad that my partner and I still talk about how awful it was. We’ve had some bad dining experiences before, but this one was by far the worst. Honestly, after this, I don’t think I’ll be able to even consider trying another Chinese takeaway for a long time—that’s how much this place traumatized me. Never in my life tasted the worst food ever. The beef was low quality or may be badly cooked. My bf and I were sick after having that take out. Literally what happened to the food quality and taste to chinese takeaway now. The best chinese takeout I had is in Kenton. This is literally most disgusting and worst ever. I wouldn’t pay a penny for their service as well. On top of that, the lady who seemed to be the owner was incredibly rude and impatient. If a customer asks a question, isn’t it basic courtesy to respond politely instead of acting dismissive? The attitude was just as terrible as the food. Overall, this was the most disgusting and unpleasant experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Avoid this place ordered a house special chowmein, this was cold and then husband was sick because of it. My all in one dish was chicken, gravy rice and chips. Gravy far far to thick was like having a bowl of gravy but tar like instead. Virtually no meat and no taste whatsoever.

Vegetarian Chicken with Cashews, Vegetarian Duck with Cashew Nuts, Crispy Chicken with Chilli... all perfect. The courier was very polite, which is something we always look out for.

food is nice ordered a prawn chowmein and spring rolls and spare ribs for 2 really dissapointed as chowmein was in a small plastic container very little, You get alot more in the foil containers we are still hungary will travel to sheilds as you get so much more, i mentioned this before about the little containers waisted £19 getting alot less for more money,

Just had beef and black pepper with gyozas and it was excellent, some good things new to the menu, highly recommended

I will NEVER use this shop again...would rate as zero stars. Their attitude stinks on the phone. We said we had never used them before and they didn't bother to explain they don't take cards. So had to find a cashpoint....they ring you and literally say " your meal is ready " then hang up....I haven't even tried the food yet so it better be worth it...although looking at some reviews I'm not holding my breath!@@

Don’t know what the bad reviews are about ? I’ve went to this Chinese since I was a little girl and I would never go anywhere else. Phone staff is polite and so is desk staff. Phone is busy all the time because of how popular it is they don’t take I lt off the hook whenever I go in there it’s ringing straight away after each call. They deliver as quick as they can and always do their best. The food is beautiful and my go two order is house special curry egg fried rice chips and a portion of noodles and a can of Pepsi. Order this and you won’t be sorry😩😍 chicken chowmein is also beautiful and 211c which is a tray with egg fried rice noodles and curry and u can get 211g which is the same but with gravy I’ll put a pic. The chicken doesn’t come with 211g or 211c btw) portions are big not “too small” I usually share one meal with me and my boyfriend and we still leave quite a lot. I love this place

Changing my review due to got a munchy box last night and well over cooked every thing was dry and hard....never again...go down the road to a 10 min walk for better quality.......really disappointed 😞

RUDE STAFF. Phoned up as my regularly nice meal was dry and not best cooked. I then heard the kitchen shout at the poor lady ‘tell them that’s how it comes if they don’t like it give them a refund, we’re too busy’ after I said I don’t really want my money back just to come and get a replacement. I was actually gobsmacked and just said no problem thanks for your help (not the desk lady’s fault) Needless to say I won’t be using there again.

Super noodles were better than the chow mein we got tonight... Soggy overcooked tasteless....paid £29.30 for meals that tasted terrible, when I called to complain I was told to return the meals to get a 10% discount off our next take away...I don't think so we won't be returning we would rather order with a take away that cares for their customers...AVOID!!
