Awful, boiled rice as opposed to fried, salt and pepper chicken had about 4 tiny bits of chicken and chicken balls were the same chicken as the salt and pepper but with a sweet and sour dip - avoid. Tasty duck just round the corner is much better

We from Nottinghamshire visiting family near by . Ordered food and was lovely . Plenty of food. Very good portion sizes are big and value for money. Will order again when we visit again

Food was the worst Chinese food I have EVER tasted. One meal was noodles with rice and chicken balls. Chicken balls were replaced by chips! One meal should have been in plum sauce. It was sweet and sour. My food was supposed to be duck, have no idea what it was. Phoned and complained, waste of time. Avoid like the plague.

Out of interest we compared prices on one of the delivery services versus the Sunny house owns website. The website was much cheaper. Especially in these current times, when takeaways are more of a luxury, it’s worth checking out own websites. Delivery was very quick, and your kept up to date via emails, piping hot with a big bag of prawn crackers. We tried different meals, garlic and ginger chicken and a beef mushroom dish. Sundries were spicy chips, fried rice and extra curry sauce. They were all very tasty and enough leftovers for another day.

There are multiple choices on many takeaways nowadays so it’s sometimes easier to go safe. For a change we didn’t, and plumped for Beef Lao Gin Ma sauce and chicken slat and pepper, oyster sauce. As normal the delivery was prompt so the meals and sundries were ready to go. The chilli chips had a lovely kick to them, my partners beef dish was tasty and plenty of meat. Unfortunately I found my chicken a bit chewy which spoilt a tasty (fishy flavoured) dish.

Just love this Chinese takeaway, food always great, always on time can’t fault it. Keep up the great work.

Great menu choice at reasonable prices. Friendly staff who are happy to recommend dishes to try. Freshly made food of good quality. Visited here a couple of times now after a recommendation. Last visit we ordered the half potion of salt and pepper box a bargain for £8!! So much food and tasted lovely. They often have different offers on their Facebook page which is worth looking at to quote the offer when ordering. We will be back.

One of the plus sides of having a new kitchen fitted and upheaval of no oven or hob has been the chance to treat ourselves to a few new takeaways. Sunny house, local to us, was our choice and what a good one. Delivered on time, hot to be served. Plentiful and most importantly really tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed and plenty left over which we like.

Ive never been so disappointed with anything. After reading all the great reviews I was very excited to order. Food arrived and it was absolutely horrific, doesn't taste of anything at all. So bland, no spice to the curry sauce which was very thin. Salt and pepper chips where just normal chips with some sliced onion. Special chow mein was inedible! Salt and pepper chicken didnt taste of anything at all just battered chicken. I wish I could upload photographs so people could see before the order

I have had so many meals from these and can honestly say never had one bad meal. Best Chinese in hartlepool by far.

This is the first time I’ve ordered from here and the food was amazing !!!! Definitely the best chinease meal I’ve ever had !! Be using this place from now on ! It was delivered exactly on the time I asked for , piping hot and perfect ! Highly recommend!!! The noodles are the thin ones which I don’t normally like but even lived them !!

The food was delivered early the rice was less fried and more boiled, the chow mein was nice. The hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken sauce was very watery, but I guess some people like that. Overall not my favourite but it was nice. Probably come here if my favourite place is closed like today.

super OVER FRIED I hurt my teeth on biting into the Prawn Toast even the chips were super hard and you can imagine what everything tastes like grease were it’s turned crispy. I ordered online and was not able to ring to contacted them another way and suggested if I thought the food was bad or I thought it was inedible I should ring. And complain via just eat and they should sort it for me. They also spoke to me as if I was stupid.. that the one chicken ball that was over crispy sometimes happens which we will replace the chicken balls and prawn toast. When I sent them a VIDOE of the full munch box squeezing things and would not brake. UNLESS YOU WANT TO BURN £17 I’d suggest you order from here.

Excellent service, excellent food, piping hot and very tasty, will order from here again, 1 downfall ordered duck spring rolls and got Vege spring rolls ~ not too big a deal, overall excellent

To be honest not up to their usual standards... Duck spring rolls were soggy in foam tray and certain parts seemed very greasy. Chow mien was lovely though... Hope it’s back to normal next time

Got my order wrong. I ordered chicken and mushroom and i got beef. I dont like beef. Tried to eat it anyway and it was tough as old boots. The soup, prawn crackers and egg fried rice was decent though

had a banquet for 3 and all arrived piping hot, generous portion and the crispy shredded beef was the best Ive had. would definitely recommend

grease everywhere, all over the containers, looked like they had been dropped in the wok before being wrapped in paper that wes see through with the amount of oily grease when delivered

The food came quite a bit early, which was a nice surprise. Other deliveries from other restaurants rarely come on time. Now onto, the food. I had rice and noodles. Overall, the food was tasty and warm, though a little on salty side. I saw a review before, that said the food was a bit salty, so I expected a little saltiness. I felt that the noodles were a little dry, which I thought was a bit odd for noodles. It doesn't have to dripping or soaking wet but it nice when noodles are a little liquidy. The presentation of the food was excellent. Nothing was leaking or dripping and it came in large containers, which meant I got a large amount of food.

I wont go anywhere else for my food thank u guys

It had bones in my meat and lots of fat on it, husbands mixed grill was all fatty. Sent request and it said 55 mins it would be at my house, 10 mins later it was there, how can you make it and deliver it in 10 mins?

food order was wrong. ordered sheczuan and send sweet and sour, noodles were dripping with grease, soup tasted like a stock cube has been dropped into a pot of water. food used to be good from here obviously not anymore won’t be returning was vile!!

There was a bit of a mix up with the order ( on my end ) and when I phoned up to explain they kindly sent out the right thing free of charge, brilliant service and the food was outstanding

Could not believe how lovely the food was. Delivered piping hot and it was absolutely gorgeous. There was loads too. Value for money definately. We also got a wall scroll, which (easily pleased I know) was so cool!

Not a local person so relied on reviews to order from this takeaway. Very disappointed, hot and sour soup just sour, salt. and pepper chicken wings so salty with no chilli and king prawn in peking sauce was just battered king prawn and onions in a sweet and sour sauce again no spice.. Maybe chilli’s don’t exist in Hartlepool ☹️

food gorgeous as usual. delivered super quick which was great. My only moan is I ordered curry sauce and got gravy. I would have rang them and complained but it was getting late and I was hungry. It was still nice though. I’ll still order again and definitely recommend to everyone.
