Lucky Chinese in South Tyneside

This takeaway is AMAZING! Iv never had a complaint, food is always hot and more than enough for us as a family. we even had leftovers!!

This is the first time we’ve used Lucky Chinese and whereas the delivery time was excellent and the meals gave full plates with leftovers there was just something missing taste wise. Not to say it wasn’t nice just used too more of a peppery feel to the sauce.

Lovely counter staff, she was so friendly. Food was hot and absolutely delicious . Will definitely be going again. We had salt and pepper chicken. Noodles and loads more 😋

Been getting takeaways delivered since the pandemic and not had a problem as such.... yes - can arrive a little cold at times and takes quite a while to arrive but food is tasty

Rarely eat Chinese food as it tends to be same same from one place to the next. Gave this a go and wish I hadn't bothered. The chips were old, and they are the cheapest and easiest thing to make, rank. Rest of the food was bland and a waste of my money. I dont understand why the emphasis would not be based on quality before sending it out, its self defeating and pointless. I won't return.

Ordered a take away £35 wat a pile of rubbish absaloutly disgusting not even fit for the bin deflintly is not fresh chicken is so hard its tadteless the crispy beef is all batter no beef the box is all slops fuming is not the word 😠 would not begoing back here again

It’s a relatively new shop, looks clean (5stars for scores on doors), food is well presented and well packaged, taste is above average for this kind of takeaway in the shields area and the portion sizes were just right, and good value also as it wasn’t too expensive. I don’t normally eat from takeaways but i would defiantly recommend this one. Not forgetting the friendly service from the young chap who owns it.
