Visited here today after travelling to Barry from Swansea to purchase a car! The guy we bought the car from recommended it to us. So we thought we’d give it a try! Well, I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This place was absolutely amazing. We obviously hadn’t booked, however when we arrived they found us a table immediately, we were served really quickly, and our food came out quickly too. We both had the Beef Sunday Roast, and it was phenomenal. The staff were great , the food was awesome, the restaurant was lovely, plenty of parking, I literally can not fault this place. So much so, I’ll definitely be returning even though it’s a fair old drive from Swansea, it will be 100% worth it. Highly recommended

A cocktail stop worthy of its heritage, I say, as someone who cut his cocktail teeth on Jerry Thomas, the Old Waldorf-Astoria Bar Book, and the Savoy Cocktail Book. Still innovating, with a third of its signature cocktails being offered in both non-alcoholic and traditional versions, modern techniques like fat-washing spirits, and the clearest ice I’ve seen in my life. Lovely place to rest and refresh from a day on the town!

We stayed 2 nights bed and breakfast at this lovely 400 year old Inn Lovely location with a Shire Horse centre next door. Plenty of parking. The room was nice and clean with a gorgeous view over the fields where we saw calves having fun. The shower was great a good size and no bath. We had dinner as well and the food was good with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The inn was very close to the event we were attending. Oulton Park Race Circuit only a 2 minute car ride away.

Alicja and I ate French fries with fish. It was good and elegant, but I forgot to ask for vinegar. Alicja liked it too. It was a bit noisy. The elegant staff immediately took our order before we sat down, although I asked for a non-alcoholic beer and received two. And I asked for one thing. And I got two. And then I felt like peeing on the way and I had to stop at some random toilet shop.

Visited here especially, on our 2 night stay in Canterbury, mainly for the extensive vegan options on their menu. However we loved the place for it's 'vibe' and atmosphere, very casual and open and welcoming of all people. A real good rock pub with live music and a quiz! Staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Would love to come back if we're ever in Canterbury again 🖤

Fantastic service and hospitable staff that made the meal journey enjoyable. We had the lunch menu and were dining with our 17 month old and not one bit were we made to feel unwelcomed. Really thankful for the team in serving us from Breakfast to Lunch and made the day truly memorable!

Unusual little venue, with small but creative menu. Good vegetarian and vegan options (in fact about half the menu choices are vegetarian or vegan). For lunch, we started with some garlic bread and cheesy garlic bread which was a very generous portion, and in hindsight we didn't need it! My partner had the Vegan Chili Pot, which was impressive and tasty (not massively spicy, tasty). My daughter had the mushroom risotto which was divine! Our little one chose off the children's menu and had a hot dog and chips! My seafood chowder was also very tasty. The food was creatively presented! Nice coffee also. It's a really nice atmosphere sitting in an ex-bandstand building, great views up and down the sea front.

Absolute gem, lovely little pub with tons of character, friendly staff and a top lineup of drinks. Also had the pleasure of eating at the bunker beneath - good pub food with top tier service. Bonus points for being a rugby pub. Easily my favourite in Edinburgh.
