Great experience for Sunday roasts on Mother's Day! Highly recommended!

We always come here when we are visiting Norfolk. It's got the best views in Cromer and has such a great vibe. The service is friendly and the food is delicious. It's also dog-friendly which is a bonus.

Our visit rounded off a day trip out for my mum’s birthday. It proved to be an excellent way to end the day. The food (we both had the steak pie) was really lovely as was the service from the friendly staff. We have visited on a number of times previously and have always had a great experience. We look forward to our next visit and highly recommend The Railway Inn to anyone looking for somewhere to have a delicious, reasonably priced meal in pleasant surroundings. Many thanks…

One of the best ales in the Midlands

Good food, reasonably priced, and served with a smile. Much better than you might expect if you only judge it from the outside 🙂. Same again in 2022 and again in 2023, we've been numerous times and it's been good every time - many thanks. We came back again in July - service was slow, but the steaks were good, although one of us was served rather few fries (also, the chocolate brownie was rather small especially when compared with the sticky toffee pudding). Our first visit in 2025 yielded three very good steaks, long may Thursday's steak night continue 🤞 A pity that the desserts are still rather small.

Lunch with visiting family, their first visit to the RoB. Fantastic choice of menu. All dishes were excellent, perfectly cooked and tasty. Service and staff excellent, as always. First visit by our guests, who cannot wait to return. Thanks Matt and staff.

This is the perfect pub in the middle of a lovely walk. Right by the river with outside seating. We had a baguette to share. It was excellent value for money and perfectly fresh. The beer was really well kept and a lovely pint of Green Jack Trawler Boys. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Great stake and chips good with my dietary needs nice out side area with quick service with nice staff. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe off the place By x By the way I am dislexic so sorry for any confusion on spelling

This is a great little cafe on the beachfront. They have seating along the road right on the beachfront. The staff were friendly and chat to you about the bay. The cafe is clean and has a good selection of snacks and drinks. This was always our stop on our return from the coastal walks, with a bottle of wine, ice cream and watch the sea roll in or out.

The service was very poor. We waited over an hour for our mains whilst they all rushed around despite the restaurant not being busy. The servers were inattentive to the point they charged us extra for food we didn’t order; asked if we could see the pudding menu but never came back over to take our order. Despite all this the food was good.

Lovely chilled out atmosphere and wonderful staff

Just an average meal to be honest. Decent 'pub grub'- just a little run down and chaotic, hopefully this can be addressed at some point. Would possibly return as the views were beautiful, it's just the pub itself wasn't amazing- and the lady serving behind the bar was extremely abrupt and rude.

Awesome fish & chips! The best one I had so far in Scotland. Great atmosphere when you sit in front of the pub right next to the corniche. Staff was very friendly.
