Light lunch and as usual everything went well. Outdoor café serving limited hot and cold menu along with nice cakes and hot drinks etc. I had Bacon Brie and Cranberry Panini and two cans of San Peligrino, ny partner had a delicious Victoria Sponge cake with a latte. Cost was just over £12 and service was fast, quality was excellent.

We have been here twice now, beautifully situated with a nice green area and view across the sea. Both occasions we were surprised by the quality of the food, it was fresh and it was hot. Prices are reasonable and it is busy which considering it is out on its own is testament itself. I commented how lovely the French fries were actually the best I have had for a long time, the gent took me to the cold store and showed me which ones he uses. Great customer service, great food, great views what more could you want?

A small cafe in the park with tables on the terrace and on the grass outside. A favourite of many in good weather and always lots of dogs and well behaved owners to brighten the place up. We had a large Crumpet with cheese and marmite, Brie Bacon and Cranberry Panini, add in a coffee and san Peligrino can of orange and a pleasant light lunch was had. Service a little slow today, but it was a warm day on a Bank holiday weekend so was very busy.

Popped over for a drink and a snack with a friend due to some lovely weather. You can sit under cover here, or outside on the tables. Such a nice period of weather we have been twice this last week. Fast service and tasty food. Both times we had sausagerolls, they were full of meat and tasty pastry, very fresh. My friend had coffee and I had a tasty San Pellegrino ice cold from the fridge. Dog friendly and we do enjoy interacting with these friendly dogs, even if they do ending up having a bite or three of my sausagerolls.

So the food was great but it’s such a shame that the lady serving us was extremely rude and wouldn’t make an exception for my 6 year old son to have bacon and chips instead of ham and chips. Instead we had to buy ham, egg and chips and a bacon roll so my son could actually eat with us. Like I said great food but perhaps a course in hospitality would be beneficial.

Called on the off chance I had the “butchers made” steak burger with salad and fried onions, which were an extra £1 please see photo for the amount. The salad was 3 chunky slices of tomatoe and some large pieces of lettuce. The burger was not a true steak burger or local butcher made if it was then I would change butcher tbh. Husband had a bacon and egg bap again with the barely tablespoon of onions for £1. With a portion of not very good quality chips it came to £16

We went out to this cafe to have breakfast but was a little disappointed. They do not serve a breakfast dish, you can have fried eggs on toast , bacon bap , sausage bap but no breakfast . As we had made the trip specifically we ended up having a sausage bap and a bacon bap plus two drinks . It was starting to get busy around 10:00 am with walkers passing by and dog owners turning up for doggy ice cream. The food was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

I visited this lovely spot today with my children , mum and sister, we had walked in from Ramsgate and were all hungry tired and thirsty. I ordered food for both my girls 2 drinks and an ice cream and was shocked to be told I couldn’t have a refill of my water bottle and would have to buy one. When the lady came out with our food I told her I was a little disappointed at being told i would have to spend more money buying water. She was very abrupt telling me they are a small business and I need to understand they use the water to make money and promote their business (not sure how the generic bottle of water my sister bought from them does this) It’s a shame that they themselves don’t maybe understand that some people are on a budget especially in the holidays

Anyway the food came out, all of which was very nice, but one order was missing an egg (sausage, egg and chips). When I mentioned this to the waitress I was abruptly told 'I didn't hear that' even though she wasn't the person who took the order. Now i know it's not the end of the world but there was no offer of 'would you still like on?', nothing, it was simply there's your food I'm off. I know what I ordered and I would have still liked an egg but I wasn't given the opportunity. What could have been a lovely experience was spoiled by an unhelpful chef who'd obviously got out of the wrong side of bed. Shame!

Ordered the all day breakfast at 4:10 and I wasn't served it. I then tried to order an English roll but no luck with that either. I was furious. The only positive was that I did enjoy the Dundee cake but I wanted to take the whole cake home with me but wasn't allowed, absolutely gutting

Bustling little cafe next to the Viking Ship, perched on the clifftop. We walked from government acre in ramsgate - lovely walk along the cliff top with dogs. Cafe does usual stuff - this time we just had mr whippy style ice cream all round -I've had much better; it wasn't very creamy and was very sweet - but still a welcome treat on a hot day. Cakes looked great and very dog friendly. Check the tide times before you visit / at low tide there are amazing walks far out into the bay.

Had a lovely picnic in the sunshine. Wanted to finish off with a treat. Went to the cafe, with my 3 children. Ordered 3 ice creams, the man that served was quite pleasant, my daughter said her ice cream was delicious. , , but unfortunately , my sons ice cream fell completely off the cone, as soon as he walked away. I was with him, so went straight back, and explained this , to be met with a very rude reaction. I was told that my son must of held the ice cream upside down on purpose , possibly if he was 5, but he is 12 years old. I really think this could of been handled a bit nicer. How much would it cost to simply put a scoop of ice cream on a cone as an act of goodwill. Oh well, we shall not be returning to this cafe, just in case, we are met with the same cheerful ( not) Viking attitude.

The Viking is your destination. The coffee is excellent which coupled with a piece of yummy cake will set you back £3 each. Cheerful service and first class value. Parking is free as is the view and it's becoming a cyclists' and dog walkers' haven.

As soon as we arrived - which was before their normal opening time, a lovely lady brought some water bowls for our 2 dogs! We then had a couple of bacon baps. The bacon was perfect, just a little bit crsip but not overdone, and I had a lovely cup of coffee. Outdoor eating in the sun with a fantastic view of Pegwell bay and the Viking Ship. A great way to start the day!

I recently visited the cafe and was blown away by the excellent service, quality of food and friendliness of staff. After stopping by chance we stayed for lunch and had nothing but praise for the food. We also couldn't believe how fair prices were compared to other cafe's around, will be going back asap.

Stopped here whilst doing the Viking Trail. A good sized piece of cake and a coffee for £3 was excellent value I thought. A great selection of cakes, (I had and would highly recommend the ginger and plum cake) the coffee was very nice and there was a good selection of other food available. Much more appealing and I am sure better value than many of the other places on the seafront of the other towns we passed through. Owners were very nice too.

I visited this public site today with my partner, to enjoy the view and a picnic, we have been here on many occasions, it's a favorite of ours, we were shouted at from a distance that they would be closing in five minutes, at 5.00pm and the gate would be locked, my partner told them not to worry about us, that we would make our own way out, they became abusive towards him and threatened to call the police because he confronted them (in a civil manner) the female member of staff waved her hand in his face and told him to F OFF, she claimed that local councilors live across the road and they get into trouble if people do not leave the site when the gates are locked, it was a very disturbing experience and ruined what had been a beautiful day, this is supposed to be a public place, funded by tax payers money, how are they allowed to enforce such restrictions, disgusting..

Not many places to grab an ice cream once you leave the main area in town so this was a nice little find. Cheeky ice cream but loads of other bits on offer and some of the homemade cakes and pastries looked awesome.. Loads of choice, friendly staff and a pleasant view out to sea..

Went for lunch with a friend Have been here before for tea and cake Sat at a table in the sun decided to move when one with a sun shade became free as I got up my brand new trousers caught on 2 prices of the plastic wicker chair that had come losses and were sticking out. I hadn't noticed this when sitting down as I couldn't pull the chair out fully due to lack of space. My trousers were damaged. I informed the waiter who just said sorry, and he would remove the chair. This wasn't done until as we left, I told another member of staff. If I had had bare legs, I would have had a nasty cut. We ordered jacket potato with chilie and salad. Which was quite nice . However my friends coffee was cold. Informed the same male member of staff who said the machine was playing up he took the cup and returned the same half drunk coffee to the table it had obviously just been put in the microwave. Sadly, I now have a damaged pair of trousers that I will have to pay to be mended, and we were not even given a full cup Of fresh coffee. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Unique view of the sea with sunset. The food and service were excellent - I have to change my mind that only France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹 and Switzerland 🇨🇭 have very good food. Local is recommended.

Watery ice cream - yuck. Unfortunately I think the proprietors forgot to add the ice cream powder to the liquid today. Within 30seconds of having the cones the “ice cream” was melting and it was very watery tasting. It is advertised as Jersey ice cream which surely means it should be creamy?

The QC is a super, traditional pub tucked away in a historic little street in Ramsgate. It is very quirky, friendly, and atmospheric. Well worth a visit for a good pint of Ale.
