Have been there quite a few times now and the food is delicious fish and chips are excellent the Breckfasts are Lovely and the burgers are so tasty and filling will definitely be one main stops when in the area

This place was a great find. Surprising really because it just looks like a fish and chip shop from the outside. There's a fair sized car park. The menu is extensive and they serve alcohol. Very fairly priced too. The food was freshly cooked - good and hot. I'll go back 🙂

Chips were nice but the fish was really dry. We had it as a takeaway. The service was quite quick and price was good. The atmosphere wasn't great

Great breakfast. Lovely clean place. Very helpful staff. It's still maintaining high standards. Nothing changed and you can't top that. Lovely senior citizens menu.

Had a takeaway justbefore closing. Staff were charming and cooked everything fresh for us. The cod and chips were exceptionally good at a very fair price. Would unreservedly recommend.

I come in here for coffee whilst my car is being valeted next door.

The vegetarian breakfast wasn't great - no veggie sausages which feels like a cop out in this day and age.

Food was terrible especially for a busy friday! saveloy was like a piece of leather could not eat it, chips dry and tasted of burnt oil, sausage in batter soggy and chewy, will not return, waste of money

This the third time we have been and its the last time. While the food was hot the chips had hardly any colour to them. Considering it's a fish and chips shop you would think they would know how to serve chips. Everything is just about ok. Nothing exceptional. Parking is a nightmare.

This is by far the best fish and chip place in Thanet. Love it always fresh and staff great. Food is delightful. Never ever had a bad meal there

Great breakfast. We really enjoyed our breakfast, beautifully cooked and presented in a very nicely done out café. Service was great as well 👍 I look forward to a return visit to try the fish and chips.

This spot was not up to its usual standard. The fish was grey and tasteless, chips ok. My complaint about to quality of the meal was dismissed out of hand. I've been going there regularly for 2 years and this was the worst I've had.

WOW PAID £8.20 FOR A SAUSAGE AND EGG BAGUETTE WITH A TEA.. WHEN I SAID THATS A BIT EXPENSIVE HE SAID MAYBE IN THE WORLD I LIVE. POINTED OUT I EAT THIS BAGUETTE EVERY DAY FROM DIFFERENT PLACES AND THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE. TOLD ME WHY DON'T YOU EFFING EAT THERE THEN... 🤣 STRAIGHT UP RUDE AS THEY COME WHAT A HORRIBLE GUY.. THINK HES THE OWNER TOO 🙈 AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS 👌

Fabulous food and service and throughly clean thanyu

Just about the best fish restaurant I have ever visited. Superb fresh cod as were the other dishes the family ordered. Wide choice of menu including specials for OAP's & children. Very clean everywhere, cheerful helpful staff. Excellent toilet, disabled & baby change area. Suggest seating in conservatory which has full height opening windows with fab sea views. Cannot fault in any way!

We only had chips but, boy were they good! 2 large portions was well big enough for us 3 and a child with some left over for later in the air fryer too haha 2 cans of drink, portion of delicious curry sauce and 2 large chips, £12 ish Recommend the chips!

Have visited the Fishbone Grill on many occasions for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a sit down or takeaway meal. The food is always brilliant and a good portion size. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I have no reservations at all in recommending this restaurant to everyone.

Was treated by friends with me having Place fillet Chips and mushy peas. (Absolutely delicious) Prompt service considering how busy it was and they were operating with one team member down

What a lovely place to stop for a snack...

Came across the Fishbone Grill driving home from Eastbourne. Dined outside as we had our boisterous 18 month old Golden retriever pup with us. The senior citizen fish (rock eel) and chips came with large portion of fish and chips,bread and butter and mug of tea.£11.00 almost too much but managed as it was so well cooked and excellent quality. Although 5.00pm on a monday, there was a steady stream of local customers always a good sign. Inside was very clean as were the toilets. Staff and service matched the quality of the produce. Give it a try if in the vicinity.

When we arrived the restaurant was closed but staff said we could order for takeaway though there were a few things unavailable. Food was great, reasonable meals for kids and we could sit on the benches outside. Great for a stop off travelling home after a day at the beach.

Found this little gem on our way to our holiday cottage , had breakfast and really , it was amazing . Tea and toast included . And plenty on the plate . Needless to say we visited almost daily after that and everything we’ve had has been generous . Really would recommend them .m

Good value excellent staff nice food. Worth a visit if in the area much more than fish and chips to choose from.

Went to get fish and chips take away several weeks ago during lockdown. Exceptional quality and taste. Went again 28.5.21. There was a very unpleasant smell from the bag of burnt oil. And yes the fish and chips were vile. Oil saturated fish and chips with an odour and taste of old burnt oil. Not a pleasant meal. Went in the bin it was so burnt tasting. They need to change their oil more frequently as customers won't buy nasty tasting food like this.

I've been here a few times now and the food here is to die for! I went for the fish and chips this time, which was absolutely mouth watering as I throughly enjoyed every bite.

Excellent Sunday Roast Dinner. We will come back for more of the menu again soon.

Only popped in for a ham salad sandwich and cup of tea. Staff were friendly, fantastic and cheerful. Best sandwich I've had for years, the bread was amazing.

I am a regular To Fishbone for great English Breakfasts, a good selection of lunch time meals a excellent Fish and Chips takeaway. Very clean restaurant and toilets, plus friendly staff, easy parking, highly recommended.

We went there with the granddaughter. A very clean, restaurant. We sat in the conservatory that was spacious and had the heaters on. Service excellent, food large and very good. Staff excellent in every way.

Five stars, great place! Greeted with a warm welcome. Service excellent. We were a family of 5 and I changed my order to grilled fish rather than battered too. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place to eat at any time of the day. Thank you. 😁

Where to start. A warm and caring welcome. Hospital grade toilets. Excellent food. very reasonable prices. Ample parking. Takeaway or restaurant. Open seven days a week. 9am till 8 0r 9 pm. Very popular, but always room for more guests. 10 out 10. I will be visiting again. Thank you to the staff.

What a find !! My wife & I live in Blackpool & run a b&b there. There's a "papas" fish & chip shop in Blackpool which, until we ate at the fishbone grill, we thought was the best ever, We were down from Blackpool as my father had been taken into hospital & we were traveling between Whitstable & QEQM hospital in Margate when we happened to stop at the fishbone grill. I can honestly say we have found the new "best ever fish & chips" since eating here & we went back every day for the next week as we travelled back & forth to the hospital & everything we had to eat, not only fish & chips as they also have a full menu, was faultless. The staff were so friendly & the whole place is spotlessly clean - thanks fishbone grill !! We are back in Blackpool now but looking forward to our next visit down south so we can have haddock and chips again !!!

Stopped by twice (never again) for a takeaway and couldn’t be bothered waiting. The service is glacier slow. Whatever happened to chippies that have food ready and prepared to go ? Will stick with Peters/Margate.

A good fish and chip can be hard to find!! This is a very good fish and chip shop! Parking is available, choice of alcoholic drinks for your passengers and an extensive menu to choose from. The staff are friendly and attentive, you get seated and served quickly. Never had a bad meal here, so worthy of a 5* review. Even the staff who are cooking always make a point of saying thank you as you leave.

Beautiful fish and chips restaurant with good food and great service breakfast and tastiest,lunch and dinner options were good will go back again. They also serve alcoholic drinks and some great desserts can't go wrong.
