After a long hot day me and my other half decided weâd stop off at rays ice cream on our way home for a treat bear in mind weâve never been so thought why not heard a lot of people say good things.waited In the queue for 5 minutes just to be turned away .not is this just poor customer service but as a well known ice cream parlour youâve now lost customers and money

A chef who knows how to balance their flavours and does it well. Innovative dishes that surprise and please. Front of house staff that care and are knowledgable (and know when to go and ask when they donât). Whatâs not to love! Two minutes from Oban centre is no excuse not to go!

This is a small friendly hotel in a very nice location. We stayed just one night and will definitely return. The room was well appointed and our dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Itâs rare to find food cooked with this level of creativity and skill in the UK. The sun was shining and we walked from the hotel onto the Monsal Trail. Itâs a perfect base from which to explore the best of the Peak District. The Riverside team were fantastic and work very hard to make things perfect. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Popped in with my wife for breakfast and was really pleased with our choice of destination. The service was really friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic - it was hard to make a selection from the large menu, but I was thoroughly pleased with my choice - I took an omelette, and it was massive, tasty, and great value for money. I had my eye on other dishes coming out from the kitchen. and everything looked amazing, so we will definitely be returning to try something else from the menu. Thanks for a lovely meal, we will be back!

I visit Hartlepool from London several times a year and always make a beeline for this lovely cafe. The staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious - they know how to make a decent espresso which isn't a given in many cafes. I recommend the gorgeous vegan chocolate sponge pudding - ask them to heat it up. Goes nicely with coffee. Thankyou to all the staff.

Came here on Saturday, 29th March. Very busy on arrival and luckily we had booked. Lots of people were turned away whilst we were there. Plenty of choice on the menu. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and my Mother had the Welsh rarebit. Food arrived pipping hot and fresh after a short wait. Food was lovely and the presentation was good. Friendly and hard working staff. One of the best cafes in Pwllheli. Popular with locals and visitors. The had a raffle there supporting a local school which was nice. Lots of people were picking up Mother Day hampers/afternoon tea whilst we were there.
