First decent coffee I’ve had in the UK

We had such a lovely breakfast at Bailgate Deli! Our group included 2 vegetarians, 1 pescatarian, and an omnivore, and everyone found something delicious to eat! We ordered the avocado toast, porridge, pancakes, a fruit smoothie, and lattes, and everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. They were also accommodating to my peanut and tree nut allergies, which has been a struggle for me in the past with vegan restaurants. Highly recommend!

An excellent flat white and delicious apple crumble cake. One of the better coffees I’ve had in Croydon.

Amazing place with a really refreshing vegan/vegetarian menu. I had a vegan cheese burger with facon it was out of this world. There was lots of seating and the service was great.

Delicious coffee and probably the best spinach and feta roll I've ever had! Friendly and prompt service. Laid back atmosphere with some outdoor seating available for sunny days :)

The food was exceptional, and at a very reasonable price. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There was a very cheerful and funny Italian front of house. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Heulwen , Cary’s and I will be going again.

Excellent coffee! We stopped after a hectic dog walk for a black coffee, a flat white and an oat milk hot chocolate. The cakes look amazing and we’ll definitely be back for one of the breakfast baps. Lovely touch to have free dog treats. Staff v friendly

Great selection of real ales well worth a visit. If we are ever back in the area we will be calling again
