Lovely cafe. Our first visit and we weren’t disappointed. Our full English was really tasty and the coffee was amazing. Highly recommend the Cosy Bean Cafe

Came by chance, tucked away on Friday Street, we visit the area 3/4 times a year and since closure of Coasters there has been nowhere in Minehead to get a decent coffee and a cake, as we have tried the rest. Pleasant hosts and the place is nicely decorated and most important the cakes are home made, look fantastic and taste even better. So much so that when waiting for prescription from chemists called here again first thing, and had exactly the same as we had yesterday, and if we were to be in Minehead tomorrow we would be back again for the same!!! That’s how good it is! OK so CASH only, but I promise it is worth the visit. Nice to see “Reserved” signs on the tables for lunch bookings with the time booked displayed together with name of parties. Lunch menu on display looked good and not expensive for what is on offer if the quality of what we had is anything to go by. We are here another week and will definitely be back. Good luck to those involved.

I thought it fantastic - good, simple food, service with a smile, welcoming, reasonable price. Running out of adjectives! I wish them every success.

Excellent place. Gets pretty busy with locals as the food is good, inexpensive and very fresh. All served with a smile. A full Breakfast with coffee is under £10.00. All cooked to perfection. Great selection of cakes if you just want coffee & cake. Also do lunches.Good portion sizes. On street parking up Friday street & surrounding area. Great little place.

Intended visiting a nearby cafe, but it was closing earlier than advertised and also had a dismissive attitude. So by chance in looking for an alternative we came across this lovely cafe. Most welcoming and very clean. Home made cakes on display looked delicious but unfortunately as the lunch that we ordered was so sizeable, we had no room for cake. The salad lunches that we had were beautifully presented, substantial, and very reasonably priced. We would certainly visit again if in the area. Would even consider making a detour if passing nearby. Highly recommended. Incidentally, local people told us they use it regularly and are highly complimentary

Cosy Bean Cafe has become a firm favourit, whether for coffee/bruch/lunch or whatever! Food always delicious and generous too. Latest indulgence is the Cinnamon swirl buns - too too delicious/moorish!

Glad we found this place by accident really as it just off the main street (on Friday street). quite a small place but very clean and tidy with lots of Cakes. Ordered from Specials Board (Cauli Cheese) and mum had Jacket with Butter. Both came with huge and varied side salad with fruit (Watermelon, Kiwi) and Coslaw. As mum does not eat salad I had both!. Very filling so did not have room for Cakes and reasonably priced. will call again when visiting.

This was my first visit to Cosy Bean and it won't be my last! I met a friend and we had a herbal tea and Americano. The coffee was strong and delicious, one of the best I have tasted in town. Access is easy and the overall ambience is welcoming. The owner was very pleasant, friendly, efficient and took time to talk to us despite being very busy.

What a brilliant find! This cafe excels in decor, charming friendly staff, quality coffee and top rate cakes. We only called in for a coffee but were so impressed with the place that we decided to have lunch. Good decision. Excellent lasagna with salad and garlic bread. I especially liked the salad which included melon, grapes, pineapple and orange amongst the usual peppers, tomatoes and greenery. The only thing out of kilter was the price which we thought was far too cheap for the excellent quality of the food. You have to try this place; we will certainly return.

Very decent, everything looks new and well fitted with quality equipment. Good service, however they need to sort out paying by card or App as its cash only at the moment. A bit awkward when you pay after eating/drinking. Poor phone signal was the excuse. Coffee is nice tasting and freshly ground but served with cold milk, they need to offer hot milk as the cup sizes are rather small. Some nice cakes and sandwiches on sale however there isn't a visible price chart other than what's chalked on the specials board. Not been open that long I guess. DEFRA 5 star rating. Excellent news, well done! I hope local ice-cream is offered.

This lovely little coffee shop is tucked away at the top of town on Friday Street and is definitely worth looking up. Moira and her assistant gave us a warm welcome and quickly had a couple of large lush lattes in front of us, followed by a light lunch of a brie, bacon and cranberry panini for my wife and a coronation chicken jacket potato for myself. They also offer a selection of cakes, and breakfast up until 11am. The coffee was divine and I was sorely tempted to have another. It's great to see a locally run independent coffee shop using local produce and we will definitely be supporting this new venture in the future.

Was on a long walk with my dog…. Was made very welcome in this beautiful place, perfect cuppa and the very best coffee and walnut cake I’ve ever had. Just amazing! Thank you.

Expensive for what it is. They don't really cook, it's just a collection of low quality ingredients... (Probably canned) Too bad.... At 1 p.m., they only offer part of their menu, i.e. only breakfasts and not the hamburgers for example. Need to communicate better with customers or separate cards better. I do not recommend.
