What a lovely pub to visit lovely staff and beer was excellent 👌

Quirky little pub, has live music and a huge choice of Ciders and Gins. Highly recommended if visiting Watchet.

Ever changing choice of real ales served straight from the barrel. Plenty of ciders too. Wide selection of spirits. Top pub!

They don't do food but you are welcome to take chips in from next door. The barmen are always friendly. This place really is 5 stars for Atmosphere and even more so when you catch it on a live music night. Can't really fault it.

Love the pub and atmosphere, just shame about the language of some people.

Great place to spend any amount of time in!!! Superb choice of real cider, snacks and games! Live music, live local characters!! You can even eat yer fish n chips from next door in Pebbles Tavern!!

What a fabulous place. A little small but the entertainment and choice of drinks is second to none. The community that frequent this bar are super friendly and are a true representation of Watchet. I would definitely recommend pebbles for drinks even if there is no live music on.

What a quirky little place in the wall where the local drinks ! Dog friendly, nice atmosphere, great staff to help you out, a lot of interesting cider to have ! Lovely little place really enjoy the deco almost feel like your thrown back in time to the 60s. Shame that they don’t do food but they have made a deal with the chippy next door so you can eat your chippy in the pub and have you pint! Highly recommended this place to stop by a drink or two but be warned..the cider is like rocket fuel there!!! Great little pub offering plenty of options for ale, cider and Perry. Dog friendly, and can take in own food especially from the chip shop next door.

Every second Tuesday of the month Pebbles hosts their folk and acoustic evening, hosted by a newly-volunteered host. It proved a great session with many holiday visitors coming along to listen. Over the evening, there were upwards of a dozen floor spots featuring various instrument and none. The range of ciders and beers provided by the tavern is legend. Visiting Pebbles Tavern either on folk and acoustic evenings or at other times always proves to be an amazing experience. Focusing on all the beer mats, photos and memorabilia across walls and ceiling is an experience all on its own!

Normally I am a real ale guy, but I decided to dive into the cider world while in Somerset. It's a proper local pub with an amazing selection of cider with the best I have seen so far in Somerset. Staff are super helpful for those who aren't cider drinkers like me. Would recommend. Bring cash though cause their card machine is iffy due to poor service, but that's not an issue for myself.

Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Large variety of local ciders and a few local beers. A few bar games available to pass the time away.

A great small narrow pub in Somerset with plenty of atmosphere selling apart from normal beers they sell various ciders and real ale- the staff and locals are very friendly and make you feel at home in this trinket adorned walls pub with musical items to match the music played here -as I say it is narrow but that's what makes it special all .embers off the family are welcome even dogs🦮just keep them on a lead and clean up after them even the dogs😂so if your in watchet harbour area it's just to the southern area well worth a visit there's parking close by or up by the steam railway 👍pay the premises a vist

Stunning bar. Excellent beers and gin. Highly recommended. There's no kitchen so no bar hot food, but you can buy excellent fish and chips from next door and eat them in the pub!!

Cracking pint of cider..lovely little pub

We visited a couple times in one evening before going for dinner at nearby pub and returning after for another drink, it's such an interesting little bar, we will most definitely pop by if we are staying near by again

We went with friends and met friends there, great place to drink (we didn't eat) the bar staff were great especially (Gay or Gray?) can't remember his name, got too hissed 😜 but he was a young South African man who was friendly, chatty and poured a mean pint of Guiness. We had a great time and all left very Merry 👍😁😂

WOW! What a gorgeous little pub! Fascinating decor, amazing selection of ales and ciders, friendly barman and the best pint of Guinness I've had for years!

Went in tonight, stood at the bar for 3-5mins while the staff seemed to be talking to there friends didn't acknowledge me or say be with you in a minute, waited a bit longer then they disappeared at the back , walked out . Shame seemed a quirky bar .

Unfortunately, I must edit my review from last year. This place was great but is no longer. Cloudy beer and dirty glasses, I think this place has lost its sparkle whilst the owner is away. It felt like I was in a dirty drinking hall.

Local pub for local folk, but visitors are very welcome, great service great food, tad on the dear side, but everything Is going up. Will be back again.

Pebbles is the most unique pub I’ve ever visited in Somerset and definitely the best in terms of atmosphere, staff friendliness and live music. I enjoy spent a lot of time here over the last year for good reason. Best pint of Guinness around and they’ve always got lots of local cider to choose from. Big ups Pebbles Tavern! 5 stars.

Cracking pub. A great selection of cider (and beer). The friendly and knowledgeable bar tender, Dean helped me choose which cider I drank, as it isn’t something I know much about. He then gave me details of how to visit the farm where the cider I had is made, which is where I’m going today. They also play great music!

Super cosy drinkers pub, all the locals were super chatty so got great recommendations about things to do in the area. They had a wonderful beer/cider selection and would definitely visit again

A really fascinating little place. There is a great range of ciders which is not as common as it should be in Devon and Somerset. It was an Acoustic night and although the quality varied every act was interesting. So glad we found it.

Visited this place a couple of times during our camping trip to Watchett. Great little place. Loads of different scrumpy ciders to choose from. The place has a great atmosphere but it can get busy due to its limited size and popularity. Customers are allowed to buy food from local take aways and eat in the bar which was great. We love the place.

Service warm and friendly but the best is they are happy (really happy) for you to eat the fish and chips from next door in the pub. Seriously good decision. Totally recommend it.

We popped in on a friday night while on a weekend visit. Long thin pub and bit of a squeeze to get to the bar which was worth it, I told the barmaid i didn't fancy medium cider, and she told me they had a dry one out in the back tap room and poured one for me. Nice drop. we sat near the door and live music started up which was good, We didn't fancy pushing through the throng enjoying the music so moved on. Nice place for a visit and if you like real cider it's your heaven

Small, quirky pub with plenty of character

We went to Watchet recently to visit some friends who have moved there from the Midlands, and they took us to pebbles on the 1st night. We loved it and went back every night of our holiday. There is a little fish and chip shop next door that you can get your fish and chips and eat them in pebbles while you enjoy a drink. We went down on Tuesday evening to an open mic night. People were getting up singing poems, sea shanty, and playing instruments. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. We loved it. A must if you are ever in Watchet.

A really unique decorating style can be found in this bar. There was a good selection of Ciders but only a couple of local beers on draught. If you are visiting Watchet then it would be a shame if you don't spend sometime in this establishment.

The only place to go if you enjoy your cider. CAMRA SW Cider pub of the year again in 2023. Very handy that you can take fish and chips in from next door, or a sandwich from Sam's Deli. If only more pubs were as flexible!

We visited whilst in holiday in doniford Bay. Had seen reviews so decided to try it. This pub is a gem.... Full of atmosphere... staff are all friendly.. Furnishings are very eclectic and different.. Great ambience with the lighting. Amazing range of drinks.. Inc huge range of ciders and some good ales. You can bring food in with you as they don't have a kitchen. So we had fish and chips in their from next doors chip shop. Best fish and chips I've ever had... We went back 3 times as we loved it so much. Within a 2 min walk from the harbour.. it's centrally located in watchett.. We cant wait to go back later in the year. Thanks Pebbles tavern for helping make our holiday great.

Amazing little place that is deceiving from the outside. Very friendly, good selection of drinks and very often live music, sometimes just ad-hoc jamming, or somebody will call in and play the piano! Fantastic!

Lovely quirky pub set within the town of Watchet. Serving an excellent choice of beers and wine. Very quirky decor which makes the visit more enjoyable. If you live or are visiting Watchet I can highly recommend this lovely little pub. Can get quite busy so advice a early start to your evening.

Walking down the coast, came across this pub during a rain storm. Has only a small front; but when I peered through the window, I beheld a longish, narrow, one-unit bar, containing afternoon drinkers and cosy lighting and decor, so I stepped in. Was staying in Watchet that night, so had two sessions in Pebbles Tavern, pleasurably drinking my way along their row of ciders and beyond into the hidden ones round the back. Each cider was well kept and interesting. Pure stuff, no hangover next day. As I chatted to the friendly locals and bar staff, I learned this to be an award-winning cider pub, which devotedly hosts a knowledgeable variety of Somerset ciders and perries. So excellent were the ciders that I realised I'd accidentally hit the jackpot with this tavern. By a distance the best pub of the many (apologies to my liver) I visited on the whole of my coastal walk from Bristol to Bideford. I'd recommend Pebbles to everyone who visits Watchet, because it's a treasure, a feature. Even if you don't drink cider (and there's also some ale), it's an intimate little den with a relaxing feel and a sense of welcome. On a rainy day in particular, what else could you do in Watchet? (You can also eat your fish & chips inside, bought from the decent chippie next door.) Much love to Pebbles Tavern.
