We had a lovely lunch today Very inviting cafe Lovely food Brilliant service And the lovely lady owner whose name has slipped my mind was incredible .when I discovered I’d lost my glasses she went out of her way to help us find them. Offering to accompany us on our walk retracing our steps ! As she said 3 pairs of eyes are better than 2. We said thanks but didn’t allow her as the cafe was still open and quite busy. Luckily we found the glasses ! We will definitely return and recommend to family and friends

This cafe is such a wonderful place, the lovely lady who runs it goes above and beyond for her customers and community. She knows people by name, she remembers your order and asks after your family. The food is impeccable, home made deliciousness!! Every time I visit I come to have a treat. Highly recommend 10/10

Great place for a coffee and to meet a friend for a chat. If you fancy a piece of cake or something more for lunch then you can. Staff friendly here.

The coffee pot is excellent for cake and coffee. You should try the coffee cake or the ginger mocker cake both come in wedge type portions with a large coffees. The service and conversation was first class by (Ozzie) who showed kindness throughout.

Combination of great service, great food and great value for money so couldn’t recommend any higher really. We had the full English breakfast, which was a very generous size, along with a lovely home-made carrot cake. The lady owner who served us was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and we will definitely be going back again soon.

Quick decision to stop by for a breakfast sandwich and oh my, I’m afraid I’ll be eating many many more! Firstly, the lady who served me (assuming the owner) was so friendly and very welcoming and even though it was slightly before the official opening time, it was no bother to get the cooker fired up and the grill switched on! My sausage, bacon and egg bap was stacked and tasted delicious... I can’t wait to take a walk and sit outside when it’s a tad warmer and enjoy another with a hot cuppa 👌🏻

The Coffee Pot is now the Tarvin Cafe. We stopped for coffee on a walk from Chaster to Delemere Forest. We ordered Latte's and sat on some benches on the opposite side of the road. The owner brought the coffees to us with an extremely tasty biscuit. I have never experienced such fantastic service and the Latte's were large and superb. I would highly recommend this cafe

I visited with my elderly dad and we decided to have a hot drink and a scone each. The scones arrived all fresh and very, very delicious - my mum bakes the best scones I've ever tasted - BUT THESE BEAT THEM! The lady who owns the shop is so friendly, and obviously a very talented baker too! Can't wait to go again!

The owner and staff here were so friendly, and made us feel really welcome. The cafe was full when we got there, and we were tempted to "take-out" but while we were waiting to be served a table became available. I'm so glad we stayed! My pot of tea was the best cup of tea I've had in a long time (and for a variety of reasons, I have drunk gallons of the stuff of late!). My husband had latte and a toasted teacake and was equally impressed. It may only have been tea and coffee and a cake - but it was very very well done! Thank you

It would be easy to walk past the 'Coffee Pot' on Tarvin's High Street - but it would be a mistake. Their coffees are excellent and the food they produce - simple and straightforward though it may be - is fresh, well cooked and of excellent quality. Sandwiches, too, are very good. Well worth a visit. They will also do the catering for parties and events. From experience, it is well and conscientiously done - and they don't charge what some of tghe 'big boys' do. Keep up the good work, ladies!

Laura's effervescent charisma has been a huge loss to Handbridge since Meltdown's closure, but will no doubt be a giant gain to whatever comes next for the (former) Toastie Queen. I say former, as there's one final chance to taste her magic creations before the apron is hung up for good at fellow Chester indie scene star That Beer Place on Foregate St tomorrow, which I wouldn't miss for all the cheese in Cheshire...

Friendly local bar serving fine wine local beers, ciders and ales and guest beers and ales from around the U.K. excellent gin selection and Whiskeys too. Quiz night on Tuesday! Great for meeting friends and used often by cycling groups as they pass through! Opened in July/August 2022 and has served the community well. Dog friendly and children too. Recent addition is some Cheshire farm ice cream which is a favourite for the children during the hot weather. Well worth popping in for a pint of three and for the wine drinkers there is a good selection of fine wines.

We were due to stop here in our campervan overnight (EHU available with a 3 pin adaptor) but got flooded in at the previous site at New Years! So as the landlord was so lovely with us on the phone, we decided to at least call in on our way home and have lunch instead! The food was fabulous, very large portions and the owners are as lovely as they are on the phone!! There is so much going on here - live music, Burns night at the end of the month, folk events, car boots weather permitting and books and board games inhouse to borrow - this place is a little gem and well worth a visit! Dogs are not just tolerated but actively welcomed with spare doggy blankets and a hamper full of doggy treats to purchase at really reasonable prices! We will most definitely be back to this lovely place and bring as many friends as we can, this establishment deserves to do well!

Waiter excellent. Food better. One of the most flavoursome breakfasts I’ve ever had. Cortado very good. Would be nice to sit outside (if weather was nicer).
