I went here today for afternoon tea to celebrate my mums 70th birthday and it was just perfect. Ria & oben could not have been any more attentive, even brought out a lovely plate with brownies and happy birthday on it. Genuinely lovely people. Fantastic afternoon tea and service. Can't wait to go back.

I was here for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Rita was an absolute delight and very attentive. She made my experience wonderful. All the other staff were also amazing and the food excellent.

Booked afternoon tea for 4 via Groupon. 2 of us arrived on time and the others were delayed but this was no problem. The venue had planned for us to sit inside but it was one of the first decent days of weather (spring/summer 2024) in mid May and they were very happy to lay a table outside. As our booking was 12.30 we were one of the first for afternoon tea and the staff helped us select a table that would remain shaded. The inside is finished to a very high standard, but the outside was absolutely beautiful as a setting for a warm Sunny Sunday afternoon. Quality furnishings and a beautiful outdoor setting right in the centre of London. We all had different teas and coffees for our afternoon tea and this was no problem. Additional tea was not chargeable which was good considering the price. Service was attentive without being overbearing. We were asked if we wanted more tea and they checked on us two or three times to make sure everything was okay. When we were taking a selfie the manager came over to offer to take a picture for us. Plates were cleared at appropriate times. Food quality was good with the scones being very good. Looking around it’s possible to spend a great deal of money on an afternoon tea in central London. This location offered a very good standard of food, an exceptional level of service, and all at a very reasonable price. We would definitely go back and would highly recommend this to friends and family.

I was staying in the Bedford Hotel and rang to place a food order for collection. When it came to payment, the price charged was slightly higher than the item cost and realised that they had added service charge. If I had requested it to be delivered to the room, I would have expected this to have been levied but it's pure cheek to apply it when I have not actually dined in the restaurant. What was it for - the arduous task of placing some clingfilm over the plate? An utter joke.

Wow - just had an amazing cream tea with the excellent Oben looking after us. Endless tea and really good sandwiches followed by great scones and delicious pastries including macarons, Eton Mess, vegan banana cake and milk chocolate cups ! Great service and nothing was too much trouble - we would highly recommend and will be coming back soon 👌

Great food. Great service from Riya. Very happy to be back. There were a lot of options especially if you ar health conscious.

Breakfast was good and the sitting environment was calm. The staff helped with the menu and was very friendly particularly Riya who helped me in navigating the buffet and food of my choice. Overall nice experience. Would come again.

We had breakfast during our stay and we had dinner once. The breakfast was wonderfully displayed and they offered a wide range of options like fried or scrambled eggs. The staff was so friendly and nice.

Lovely ambience, spacious and clean restaurant. Albin who was our server was very polite, attentive, and knowledgeable.

Albin Andrews was incredibly attentive and friendly, always making sure our drinks were topped up and checking in to see if we needed anything. He really made us feel welcome and had a great energy about him.

Visited 23rd March to celebrate my mums 81st Birthday with sparkling Afternoon tea. Staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived! Beautifully presented afternoon tea. Big compliments to Riya who made sure everything was good for us..offered to take photos and brought us a special birthday desert plate :). Lovely view of the garden. Well presented Restaurant. I would visit again & would recommend!
