Our cycling group comes here every Thursday evening after our MTB ride. The staff are fantastic. friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend.

Fantastic Sunday lunch! Our party of 8 were treated to a warm welcome and excellent service by attentive staff. And the food!!! The Blue Bell has restored our faith in what a Sunday lunch should be. Excellent choice of starters, mains and desserts beautifully cooked and presented. Every course did not disappoint. Great beer (including non alcoholic) and wine too.

Llamé de camino a casa desde Dalby Forest. Tuvimos cenas de domingo que eran mediocres en el mejor de los casos. Luke caliente, asados duros como roca y pudín. Comimos a las 4 de la tarde, pero si no puedes mantener la frescura y la calidad de la comida, debes dejar de servir antes. Se lo mencionamos a un miembro del personal que dijo “lo siento” y se fue. Las tres mesas que estaban a nuestro alrededor también se quejaron y enviaron comida de vuelta. No volvería ya que simplemente no valía la pena. El Jolly Sailors más adelante en la carretera de los páramos es un millón de veces mejor.

There's always something inherently cheerful about the Green Welly Stop. Perhaps it's the name. Anyhoo, it's a tourist retail spot selling clothes and trinkets, with an attached restaurant, toilets, and plenty of free parking. It's a bit pricy, but the staff are great. (We had a good laugh over '500 miles'!) Also on the same site next door is a Londis type shop for the more prosaic items like bread and milk etc. Overall a really pleasant and useful stop. Great afternoon in the beer garden. Excellent band, great atmosphere, we were made to feel so welcome. And bonus - free cupcakes! Highly recommend calling here, we will definitely be back!!

Popped in there for the first time over the bank holiday weekend and we were impressed with the beer selection. Great garden with pop up bar there too.

I thought £7.20 for a pint was bad, but they upsold me a bowl of chips (not real chips - oven chips) and charged me £6. Rip off.

Popped in for a couple of drinks. First time in a while. Unlike before, bar staff now only seem to have 2 speeds...slow and reverse, even on a quiet Wednesday evening at 6.00 Eventually got served reasonable priced drinks. Several diners eating at tables in the bar area, all seemed to be enjoying their food. The food has a good reputation locally, but it's a shame about the poor bar service.

My daughter & I went to have lunch. We chose pork roast & fish & chips, we had my 6 month old granddaughter with us too. The order was taken promptly but, unfortunately we waited 45 minutes for our meals to arrive. While everyone else around us waited maybe 10/15 minutes. To our dismay the pork roast was stone Cold, no greens & was sent back. My fish & chips were luke warm , the peas were freezing cold. Once we had complained with the forgotten veg & how cold the meal was, another hot meal was brought out but the apple sauce which was offered never arrived. The waitress clearly wasn’t happy with our complaints. A couple on a table next to us same waitress took their order, also had problems. I heard the lady complain to her husband that she had not been given her greens . His roast arrived & he’d ordered a 3 meats roast which he never got so, again his meal had to go back to the kitchen. All in all the service was not good. The meals need more attention & served hot. Don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon

We had an amazing stay in an Indulgent room. Customer service was incredible from everyone we encountered and they went above and beyond for us. Room, hotel, grounds and spa were beautiful. Big, comfortable bed. Breakfast delicious. We had room service and cocktails delivered from the restaurant, also delicious. It truly felt like a relaxing getaway. Hotel room was not very soundproof but most guests were quiet. Would have liked to see more protein in the vegan options and the sheets felt like they may have been a blend but regardless would love to stay again and it far exceeded our expectations - highly recommend

First meal of our holiday. Such a disappointment. We just had sandwiches - which were really not great. Standard white bread. Ham was fatty and inedible. We tried to speak to the staff - but was met with uncompromising rudeness. The condiments were left in full sunshine. If anyone fancies warm mayo, unfriendly staff and below average sandwiches - this the place for you!
