Food was amazing but most of all the customer service from Lunga was outstanding so polite and very helpful. So glad we chose this Nando’s to come to. We will be back purely from the service we got. The staff overall were all lovely great service :)

Had a lunch there yesterday. Chicken was extra fresh and cooked to perfection. Sweet potato fries were crispy outside and soft inside. Scillies cider was perfect. Customer service was 5 star.

The service here was really terrible the took forever to seat us especially as the restaurant was half empty, they are so slow my whole table had finished eating before they brought my own food out

Delivery driver dropped the food in front of a multistorey hotel that had a ground floor reception when unable to reach me on the phone

Chicken was very dry and did not taste fresh. Service was amazing though

This is the best nandos in town, food is always fast and hot, all the staff are lovely especially the manager! I never catch his name but he is always so lovely and always checks we have had a good experience

Really nice food in a nice location. Only problem was we asked for the booth when the restaurant was near empty and they said no. As a group of 5 Later on whilst I was eating there were 2 people sat in the booth.

Always a pleasure to visit Nando's in the Mailbox. The manager who has the "cool dreads" is a great guy and I really should ask his name! He always recognises me and my family and really takes customer service to the next level, effortlessly, which working in customer service myself is something I do not say lightly! We don't live locally to the Mailbox, but will happily walk past other Nando's restaurants in the city to eat here when we are in the city.

Very respect from staff , food good and quick, atmosphere perfect . Tea and Lemonade are a bit expensive, but in rest, all good !

Best nandos I've been too great food.Two staff members noticed my daughters badge they asked me if it was her birthday which it was her 13th. They gave her a free piece of cake and wished her happy birthday 🎂

Lunga, Jem and Zareen gave amazing service, very welcoming and friendly! The food was fresh and cooked perfectly! Definitely will be coming back!

Disgusting service and over priced

I came for a quick dinner with my family before a show at the Alex and the service was brilliant. The food came quickly and was lovely. Special thank you to Lunga he couldn’t have been more helpful. There were a couple of items not available on the menu and he sorted us some additional sides to make up for it. We all commented to each other afterwards how kind and helpful he was and just a happy soul making our experience really great. Thank you!! 🙏🏼

Visited Nandos for the "umpteenth" time on Saturday March 30th, was greeted by who I think is the manager, and was once again treated to customer service I would expect from a much more upmarket restaurant! What I'm trying to say is the particular guy, along with his staff, genuinely make you feel welcome with a friendly greeting, exemplary customer service and they have created a no rush atmosphere, making this particular Nandos feel a little more special than just a chicken restaurant! First time ever having Nandos and Lunga went above and beyond for us! Explained everything and looked after us so well. Food was 10/10! A nice, quiet, hidden gem. Would recommend it to anyone! Brilliantly run restaurant🙌

Absolutely disgraceful service. Waited 30mins to be seated. Then informed all vegetarian options out of stock. Why not make that clear from the outset? Absolutely shambles

I don’t do reviews but the service I received from a man named Lungawas exceptional. He was amazing and led so well, it was super busy yet he gave everyone the right attention and sorted each table out, the food is always hot and if there is an issue it gets solved quick, shame i didn’t get a pic of the food

We came in the evening for dinner and got a table straight away no waiting around. Friendly staff. Food arrived quickly and everything was cooked well.

The best Nandos in Birmingham! I want to shout out my man Lunga, genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life, not to mention all the other hardworking staff that take the experience to a whole new level. Phenomenal!

First time ordering at this location and I was disappointed. I made an order online on 18/12/2023 at 12:15 and even telephoned to request for the chicken thighs to be WELL DONE (not exactly a difficult request). I purposely waited longer to allow the chef to ensure my chicken was WELL DONE. I went to collect it and it wasn't what I had expected. When are you spending £14 plus, you expect the food to be the way you wanted. The staff member was not exactly helpful. I won't be coming back to this Nando's location.

Efficient service, cosy atmosphere; delightful food. Our server, Lunga, was very hospitable and knowledgeable throughout. A good place for a casual date.

Tonight was truly remarkable. The guy with the unique hair who greeted us displayed utmost professionalism, while Tee and Lily, absolute legends, went the extra mile to assist me in impressing a friend. They are a credit to Nando's and deserve significant praise.

Wow, it’s been ages since having a Nando’s and it’s normally been as take away *** mistake *** we stopped by and decided to dine in (well just outside as we had a dog with us). What a difference, ordered easily via the app and in less than a minute a glass arrived. The flavoured fries were great, crisp and tasty, but the chicken was lovely and really went down well. Also tried the minted peas and that went really well with the meal. Great and now suitably stuffed. Thanks

The food was good neugh for what I aspect and it was worth price .My favorite is the lemon chicken wings so my family order 10 of them sadly they can only serve 5 of them, but we could change the five lemon chicken wings to even half of a chicken. And the manager even give us a free side so we chose the corn and the corn was a hole one not only 1/3 of the corn (because the one on the train station only gives us 1/3 of corn) . Went begore visiting Alex Theatre. First experience at Nando's as we don’t do this type of eating but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice on menu and excellent value for money - will certainly ve back for more

I’d rate zero if I could. Yes don’t get excited for Nando’s but this was appalling. Chicken was cold and half my items were missing.

Best customer service we have ever had in a nandos. The restaurant was so quiet and clean and tidy. The food was fast and tasted fab. We were checked up on multiple times which we absolutely loved. Sometimes it's people caring that matters the most. Blessed to have been here for part of our anniversary celebrations. The staff obviously love their jobs and it showed in how they made us feel. Would go back again and again

Food area was extremely messy, all of staff hovering over food on counter instead of trying to get it out. Chicken was slightly undercooked. Needed doing a bit more. Toilets were disgusting needed cleaning. Male manager done nothing other than sort out napkins the whole time we were there. Poor management

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Nando's today! Despite a little mishap with my 2-year-old who unfortunately choked and vomited, the staff's response was nothing short of exceptional. Manager Jamaima was an absolute savior, swiftly coming to our aid and ensuring that everything was cleaned up promptly. Our server, Zenata, also deserves special praise for her quick thinking in relocating us to a new table and providing us with fresh cutlery. The level of care and professionalism displayed by the entire team truly made our visit memorable. We left with smiles on our faces and a deep appreciation for the outstanding service we received. Nando's, you've won our hearts! Thank you for going above and beyond to make our dining experience remarkable.

First, the service was great a day friendly. The manager and the lady attended to me and they both received 5 stars. The ½ chicken was soft and succulent, just the way I love it. The garlic bread was not hot enough for me.

I had the most wonderful experience at Nando's in The Mailbox, Birmingham! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and exceptional service. Food was fine, especially halloumi sticks. The chicken leg was nice, but the breast was tough and dry. The chips had a bit too much peri salt. The service though wasn't good. I ordered via the QR code, and waited 15 minutes for my glass to get my drink. I had to ask if I could have a glass when my starter arrived. I wanted to get my drink/cutlery/sauces before my food came, so that was frustrating. When my main came, my perinaise sauces had been forgotten. I waited a few minutes in case they were on the way, but had to ask for them in the end. The staff were friendly but just not on the ball.

5 stars to the staff who seated us, took the order, and served the food. Very helpful young staff making sure everything was good. Special thumbs up to the young man in dark green top who's customer service was fantastic and the young man at till who took the order. Food was great. The manager, however, looked a little stressed and unapproachable. All in all, a great branch and possibly the best one out of the ones we've been to before.

We are here for the first time. I ordered the Fino pitta which was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain the menu to us. The restaurant is cute and relaxing. Just a small complaint: the tables were sticky. But other than that we had a wonderful time.

Service is always extremely slow when you go but food is worth it. However expect to wait up ti an hour even if there isn't supposed to be a wait

Yesterday, I came into mailbox and the food was amazing, the chicken cooked to perfection. Everything was spot on. Great service from Lunga and the server (small girl), who catered to my needs.

I tried the veg burger but it wasn't great. Overall it's good. Polite staff good services.

Seated by a very pleasant server. A very polite person took our order. The food was delivered pretty quick and extremely tasty. Well worth a visit and will definitely be visiting the restaurant again.

The man who was a cashier was rude when I asked how long for my food. The food was sitting for long underneath the lights and the cashier was still serving people. It was clearly understaffed and when the food did come it took over an hour and a half to come, this was surprising because the store was not busy (around 5 tables to be exact). When the food did come out it was cold, and came out in parts. The manager said they would issue a refund but due to conflict in the store this was not resolved. Inside the store was cold, even though it was hot outside, which made it uncomfortable to eat in. Bad experience !

Really great vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The veggie ‘chicken’ is really good, the texture is spot on.

The food has always been amazing, I come here with my friend when ever she’s in town, and all the times we have been there, we have been lucky enough to meet Lunga, who provides us with top notch service.

Mediocre but decent meal for the price. Seemingly like the only chain restaurants that still do decently priced meals with acceptable quality foods. I do rate Nandos as a chain because of this. Long may this continue. Food was quick, tasted ok but decent for the price. 4/5

I'm not usually a big fan of Nando's, but I have to say, the one at the Mailbox is pretty good! Every time I've been there, it hasn't been too busy or crowded, so I've been able to enjoy a nice meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are okay, nothing outstanding, but they're friendly enough and seem to get the job done. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this Nando's location if you're looking for a good meal in a pleasant environment.

If this had been our first experience of nandos we would never go back. Food was mediocre at best. Staff appeared disinterested. Shame they'll the brand down so badly

What a great place. The staff member that serves us was excellent - very friendly and likeable.

Expect to wait atleast 30 to 40 minutes for the food and even then it comes out warm/cold. Won't be back in a hurry...

First time trying Nandos at mailbox, overall not bad. It was 8.30pm on a weekday so almost empty and music not loud, which was really good. My friend n I had chicken thighs, wings and gelato. They're all good except the mango gelato - we had tried much better ones so. Chicken thighs were very juicy, tender and well-maintained, same as the wings. Efficient service and casual vibe made it juz perfect for catchup with friends. Will come back for a quick bite on busy days x
