Booked the function room on 3rd May 2025 for my husband's wake. The staff were great & everyone said how lovely the food was. Would definitely book this place again.

A very nice pub for food, drinks and value for money!! Staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The 2 meals for £12 were great. I initially thought the place needed some work doing but the man at the bar with the glasses told me they're getting a refurbishment in November which is good to hear, I'll definitely return during the festive period to check out the changes!!

Good value for money on food and drink. Staff are friendly and prompt. Downside the whole interior is in desperate need for a revamp, every crack and crevis needs attention to. Its pretty bad in all honestly. Hopefully the brewery invests ASAP.

The atmosphere and the staff are great. The live music is always unreal. The food is top class you won’t get anywhere better in Quinton. The prices are respectable for the service you receive. I’ve always been treated great when I come to the stag I would recommend for anyone looking for good food or good drinks

Had some great food there tonight. We had sizzling meals that came on hot skillets and were really tasty and fresh. Prices were very good with a family of 4 eating for about £13 each which was a main meal and a drink. Highly recommended!!

My local pub, great staff, and they do a cracking pint of Guinness too. Thoroughly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

A visit to the stag is never a disappointment. The staff are always lovely and welcoming, never an issue with our food and drinks we always enjoy everything we have. Great value for money

Went last night for a family meal There was smiles all around from staff and we all left with full stomachs The young lad on the bar that took out order (Lewis) was very helpful, polite, and friendly. Our waitress was called Shelly and she was so lovely. She made sure we had what we needed and nothing was too much trouble for her . Food was perfect , tasted beautiful and presentation was great. Will deffo be returning

Attended a swing afternoon featuring Mike and the Floor fillers. Music was great with tasty good value food and drinks. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. It was a great afternoon.

Lasagna was slightly burnt so was Garlic Bread,,can’t knock the Lasagna was it was ok after cutting burnt off the edge ,my husband had the mixed grill which can only say was a cremation should have sent it back ,but out with family and to be fair there meals except for a burnt burger bun was fine ,will think twice about eating there again

Arrived at pub and was very busy Staff managed to find me and my family a table quite quickly Told there was a wait on food due to how busy they where but still food arrived very quickly Portion sizes where good and the food was beautiful Staff where very attentive Really enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back

Haven't been to this particular sizzler for a while, but now I remember why. Although the staff and service is great, the food we ordered was dreadful. The steak and chicken i ordered, on the mixed grill,. was cremated and the gammon was undercooked and inedible. The same with my wife's steak, was asked for it medium rare and it was grey throughout. The mac and cheese, however, was good. Will defo be one to avoid in the brand chain for the future

Had the misfortune of having to use the baby changing facilities at this place whilst here for a meal. It was a disgrace. Absolutely filthy, sticky floor, dirty marks everywhere but the worse part was the smell, they should be ashamed! Now for the gents... when done changing my baby I thought I would go and wash my hands. Pressed the soap dispenser for soap and got squirted with watered down soap. Establishment was a disgrace, filthy and stunk

If you want to take your kids out for a meal and not worry about them, this is the perfect place to let them play and make as much noise as they like and not teach them how to behave. However, if you want to chat to your fellow diners and enjoy your meal - avoid like the plague. It's like eating in the middle of a school playground during break time but with no supervision.

Really nice food and lovely staff, we had a really good experience and we will be returning. The curry house feast was amazing 👏 my kids had adult burgers and really liked them.

Never had a bad meal, there is a wide range of meals to choose from, avoid always served hot and well presented. The team are always welcoming friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this pub. Thank you to the team there.

I came here for my Birthday. I had a mixed grill, unfortunately the chicken and steak were really dry and chewy which was a shame as I like the food here normally. Also I had prosecco and they had no prosecco glasses which was a shame.

Come to The Stag & Three Horseshoes for some drinks and food. I had a lovely greeting from the bar staff and Dan one of the bar staff helped me with a drinks recommendation I was intrigued on trying but was unsure about. The other staff members were also very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and the service was fast, couldn’t fault it at all. Overall it was a lovely night out and I would be happy to return.

We go to the stag regularly and the food is always very good value for money. The staff are all excellent and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Kelly is one of the team who deserves a special mention. She always makes sure that everything is good. She will go the extra mile. I did complete a survey recently and wanted to name Kelly but unfortunately I couldn’t remember her name!!

Popped in for food with my lad.... place wasn't overly busy but seemed to take ages for the food to come out. Once the food came, I was totally disappointed. toasted burger bun, more like burnt buns and dry...... Definitely won't be returned again

Came for festive menu and was one of the worst things i’ve ever had, never normally someone to complain but the table was not even wiped before we got there, the turkey main was just processed sliced turkey like you would get from a supermarket etc with frozen roast potatoes, one of the worst meals i’ve ever had. Desert was fine, starter was very below average and cold. Awful.

The pub itself was really cold even though they said the heating was on. I had the mega mixed grill. The steak was really tough and the rest was dry. Also the toilets weren't very clean. The whole place looked like it needs decorating!

I've often visited this pub in past for a meal. This time they catered for the gathering after my Dad's funeral. We hired the private room and everything was good. My only criticism is that they charge now for the room when the catering and drinks purchased should be sufficient especially during the day. We also held the gathering after my Mom's funeral here as the outside doors could be left open and in July 2020 that was a bonus. This year I've enjoyed some normal pub meals here with family. The food is cooked to order and the servings on the skillets are as they say sizzling when they arrive so for someone who likes their food hot that's brilliant. Last night ,a Saturday, it was exceedingly busy and the only table available was in the side room which also housed 2 large family parties including several youngsters. The whole place was buzzing and noisy so we decided to add to the noise with our general conversation!! The food was as good as ever so well done to all staff for keeping a smile on their faces on a very busy night. Good to see businesses doing well again 👏 I visit for a meal every couple of months. This time 22/6 I pre booked a table but it wasn't as busy as I expected. We all enjoyed our meals and service was quick and staff friendly. There was entertainment but we sat as far away as possible as we wanted to talk, but it sounded good and was well received by those round the stage area. Another visit here to use a dining voucher I'd been given for my birthday. Friday lunchtime and not particularly busy except for older people like us! Food was as we'd expect, cooked to order, served promptly and staff all efficient and friendly.

Thank you Rachel and staff for a lovely meal guys and looking after us all! Came to celebrate my nephews 21st birthday and it didn't disappoint. All the food came out at the same time and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely come back again!

Arrived at the stag this afternoon with two people in wheelchairs . Before getting to the entrance door two lovely staff where there to open the doors for use. The meals where very nice and the staff friendly and very helpful. Kim and shirley

Fab atmosphere live singer which was a bonus everyone was dancing even the waitresses Kelly and Betty showing a few of there moves while delivering excellent customer service made everyone feel welcome and checking in on us great value for money lunch was lovely I think a bonus or pay rise would be great 🤭there a credit to your lovely cosey pub see you again soon

We had a wake here yesterday and it was a lovely send off. The food was amazing, the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for everything. You did everyone proud.

Went here tonight with family usually go one a month and usually quite good however tonight wasn't great first we asked could we have mushy peas instead of garden peas told no we would have to pay for an extra portion never been a problem before. Then we asked for a latte no coffee machine can only do tea or black coffee not sure why only black coffee cause surely there would be milk available for the tea. The lady that we placed our order with was quite miserable. Portion sizes have got smaller..overall wasn't a great experience and will probably give it a miss next time try somewhere else.

Food was OK, and so was service if you order by app. A mistake was made with my food order but rectified reasonably quickly. Very busy on Sunday afternoon and seemed under-staffed

Paid a visit on our way back from The Think Tank Birmingham. Our one daughter and her husband had steak and were happy with their meals. They got our grandsons order wrong, bur rectified. We both ordered fish and fries. The fish was nice, but the fries were cold and tasted like they had been out long before our fish was ready. Would have liked to give an higher star rating as a nice setting and reasonably priced menu, but issues could not be overlooked.

Booked a table via the online service, changed it a few times which wasn't a problem at all, so easy to use. The table was ready when we got there. The food was good and the service was good. The staff were more than helpful in this very busy pub.
