Empezaré con lo positivo. El ambiente era genial en este lugar y la comida era decente también, muy buenas patatas fritas, hamburguesa y bebidas. Estaba listo para hacer de este un lugar regular para comer hasta que la factura llegó. Tienen ofertas en las comidas, y mi esposa y yo pedimos los dos en el menú de ofertas, pero yo quería la hamburguesa de queso con tocino sin guarnición, así que pedí esto, y cometí el error de decir "como la hamburguesa Jane simple pero con tocino, básicamente" - así que lo que decidieron hacer fue cobrarme por la Jane simple, luego agregar en cada parte adicional para que costara casi un extra de £ 10. Luego, también agregan un cargo por servicio 'opcional' o 'propina' que solo es opcional SI solicita específicamente que se lo quiten, porque agregan este cargo a su comida sin preguntarle. Turned up for a lovely Father’s Day meal and the place is closed down with no sign nor cars outside. Absolutely devastated!! 😞👎🏻

Arrived at this lovely venue I was greeted by a lovely young lady behind the bar who I later found out her name was Jodie.A very friendly efficient member of the bar team. The staff and manager were all very friendly and helpful. The male member bar tender was excellent also and very efficient and friendly. Very well run business.

Arrived 7pm just the 2 of us, restaurant was not busy, Ordered 2 starters 1 calamari and 1 breaded brie, Very good and tasty. Main meal l ordered ribeye medium rare. Waited over half an hour and was given a free drink because of the long wait. Meal came 10mins later steak was literally raw and cold in the center.My wife's steak was so overcooked it was inedible. Such a shame, great staff and couldn't apologize enough would go back to give it another chance maybe it was just a bad day

I ordered the smothered chicken burger and it was not smothered at all!! Tasted average, the burgers they sell at the cinema nearby and much more tastier and cheaper! The coleslaw was a small portion so were the chips. Waitress was not bothered and was being rude and told me she did not know how long it would take. Also, she gave me a fizzy J2O when i asked for still. Rubbish cheap food they charge a fortune for should bring back Taybarns

I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my partner and I had at your restaurant yesterday, where we came to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Unfortunately, the evening was marred by poor service and an overall lack of care from the staff. We arrived at 8:00 PM, looking forward to a special evening, but our food did not arrive until 9:30 PM – a full 1.5 hours later. Initially, the staff seemed to expect us to simply accept the long wait, and for the first hour, we were completely ignored. When we finally approached the staff to inquire about the delay, there was no apology, just a vague mention that they would “check.” At no point did we feel that the staff acknowledged the frustration or inconvenience we were experiencing. When the food finally arrived, the explanation given was that there had been a mix-up with our order. Again, no apology was offered, and at this point, the atmosphere had already been soured. What made it even worse was that other tables arrived after us, ate, and left, while we were still waiting. Given that we were celebrating a special occasion, I had planned to surprise my partner with a cake at the end of the meal. However, because of the long wait, we arrived at 8 PM and didn’t get our food until 9:30 PM. When we received our food, the staff announced last orders, and when I asked my partner if we should order a cake, he rightly pointed out that we would likely have to wait another 1.5 hours to receive it. By then, the birthday mood had completely been ruined. When we asked for the bill, the waiter’s offer of a free starter (£11 value) as an apology felt completely insufficient and frankly, offensive. We came to your restaurant to celebrate, and it was clear that the staff’s attitude showed little regard for our experience. I would have preferred no gesture at all rather than one so trivial in the face of such a poor service. The most frustrating part of this experience was that we could have understood that mistakes happen, but the complete lack of communication, the absence of any apology, and the apparent indifference from the staff made it clear that our discomfort was not a priority. What was even more unsettling was overhearing the staff speaking in a language we didn’t understand while passing our table, giving us looks that made us feel as though we were being mocked. This entire experience was deeply upsetting, especially since we came to celebrate a special occasion. I can confidently say that we will never return to Burger and Lobster again. As my partner said, the customer service here was far below expectations – we’ve had better service at fast food restaurants like McDonald’s. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure no other customers have to endure the same treatment.

Have had drinks here quite a bit lately, but haven't eaten here in about a decade. Still just as good. Visited on a busy Saturday evening. Ordered food (and drinks) at the bar. Prices are incredibly cheap! (Chicken wrap with fries only £6.50!) Seated in the side section next to the garden which was nice with the fairy lights. Food was delivered quickly, was hot, and tasted good. And staff were really friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I don't usually go for bar food, but for Loft I'll make the exception every time. It's a great place to start off a night out before bar hopping down Hurst Street, or as an evening out by itself.

Pointless advertising the petrol station being open at 6am because it's not even open at 7am. This has happened on many occasions in which they don't put a sign up to say why but hey ho every review helps

We had a fantastic 80th birthday party! Staff were great and looked after us! We hired a room at the Bank and it was so convenient and we had our own bar! Perfect!

Hay un tipo que ha sido muy agradable. Siempre sonriendo y veo poner todo su esfuerzo y ser muy apasionado. U afortunadamente no tiene una insignia pero ha sido tan bueno con su trabajo

The food was speedy on this occasion and coffee top ups were not slow like they usually are. WiFi has changed to BT and this wifi is not great.

Great carvery. Top quality food and perfectly cooked. Friendly staff and a clean, modern,spacious and unpretentious setting. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed. Ordered via JustEat and ordered a doner with cheese. Instead of using burger cheese which kebab shops normally used they gave me a doner kebab loaded with strong cheddar cheese, totally inedible. Threw in bin and they wouldn't give me a refund. Stay away. I will use Molesey fish bar from now one.

First ever time ordering from here , food came quick was red hot when arrived an everything was lovely , best garlic bread with cheese if had , Donner meat was just perfect, think we have found out new takeaway
