The regular fries have reduced radically

Our server was lovely but the overall experience was very bad. They hadn't turned the taps on in the bathroom so I couldn't wash my hands and had to find someone to activate them. The front doors were left wide open so the entire restaurant was freezing. Our nachos came out ice cold and I had to send my mac and cheese back as it tasted terrible. I don't normally do that or write bad reviews but this was an exception.

En cuanto a la comida, pedimos la torre de langostinos que consistía en 4 langostinos que realmente no clasificaría como una “torre”. Las gambas eran preciosas, pero por el precio, 4 gambas parece un apretón! También pedimos el Tomahawk, se presentó muy bien, pero desafortunadamente entre dos personas, solo teníamos 5 rodajas delgadas cada una, ya que había una gran cantidad de rodajas de grasa y grisáceos que se desecharon. La carne era agradable, pero no la más agradable que he probado, definitivamente hay mejor filete en otros restaurantes en Birmingham en el mismo “carril” que Ribeye. No volvería a pedir un tomahawk, en cambio, optaría por un filete singular, no por compartir. El puré de cebollino era absolutamente divino y también lo eran las patatas delfines, lo recomiendo encarecidamente! En general, volvería atrás, pero optaría por algunos elementos de menú diferentes. Expensive for what it is. Food was very overpriced, the venue is brilliant form kids but the overall cost is not worth the experience

Have had drinks here quite a bit lately, but haven't eaten here in about a decade. Still just as good. Visited on a busy Saturday evening. Ordered food (and drinks) at the bar. Prices are incredibly cheap! (Chicken wrap with fries only £6.50!) Seated in the side section next to the garden which was nice with the fairy lights. Food was delivered quickly, was hot, and tasted good. And staff were really friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I don't usually go for bar food, but for Loft I'll make the exception every time. It's a great place to start off a night out before bar hopping down Hurst Street, or as an evening out by itself.

Very disappointed. Ordered via JustEat and ordered a doner with cheese. Instead of using burger cheese which kebab shops normally used they gave me a doner kebab loaded with strong cheddar cheese, totally inedible. Threw in bin and they wouldn't give me a refund. Stay away. I will use Molesey fish bar from now one.

I recently visited this fantastic steak and tapas restaurant for a date, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it perfect for a special night out. We started with some tapas, and each dish was packed with flavor. The highlight, however, was the chicken. It was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The service was exceptional, too. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The staff really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Overall, it was a great evening—delicious food, great service, and a perfect spot for a date night. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The service from Hasna was amazing! Could not fault the hospitality even after arriving 30mins before closing time. The food was cooked to perfection!
