I highly recommend this bar! We had a surprise birthday party here and it was a great night! Thank you so much to Sam who made our night special! - We will 100%y be coming back!

Booked for Sunday lunch, got there and the place was closed and big padlock on the front door: thankfully Clapham has loads of other restaurants so I went elsewhere and I recommend anyone reading this does the same

One of my regular spots, great burgers, great hot dogs, and my fave - Chicken and Halloumi Salad, which I have most weeks for the last 6 years 😄

Went to celebrate my sisters birthday a group of 6 people was totally shocked when the bill was put down,before our food arrived as i have never experienced that.it was very off putting.especially as this was not explained when the booking was made.apart from that the food was really good i had the rib eye steak with saute onions,chips and salad,i did not take any photos of the food as the bill experience put me off.

I finished working today and came to the Gas Monkey absolutely tired and hungry. The bartender was very kind, he took my food and drink order in a very polite and helpful way. I've got for food the mushroom burger and I ordered a Coca-Cola as drink. The burger was absolutely stunning, very tasty, served with skin-on fries and a delicious side salad. I ordered my drink with one ice cube and got exactly what I asked for. I am leaving really happy. Thank you very much, guys, for the excellent service.

It is a beautiful place full of interesting decorations, I hope to visit you soon and repeat the meat lasagna and its cocktails.

This was the first time out for me and my housemates following lockdown and we came to gas monkey. Been here many times before and this visit exceeded expectations. We had the meat sharing platter which was very tasty and great value. The drinks service was very quick compared to the other places around clapham junction. The staff are really friendly, Franky will make sure you are well looked after. The cool decor is also impressive.

Came here last night with mates and had a good laugh. I love american food and they got it spot on. Big portions and delicious, same as the states. We arrived for happy hour which was a bonus. Look forward to another visit soon.

We decided to go out for a spontaneous diner on Tuesday night and this place had the most amazing vibes. The staff was super nice and helpful and the food was amazing. We got a sharing platter for 4 and various cocktails. We definitely recommend the mojitos!

As the title says, this is an American style restaurant, very close to Clapham Junction station. I have just moved to the area and have been exploring and was drawn to the place because of the monkey wearing headphones outside, you can't miss it if you are on Lavander Hill. I came in on my own and had a few drinks and a bite to eat. They have a good cocktail selection, but if like me you prefer a beer, they have their Gas Monkey beer on tap. I had the Beef Hot Dog and Sweet Potato Fries. They were both very good and I look forward to trying the Pork Hot Dog next time. The staff were friendly and worked quickly and I left happy. What a great find!

Great staff, friendly service, good food and drink selection well worth a visit, solo, friends, colleagues or family.

Decor great, waitress was lovely. Had the Monkey burger ..... which very kindly included bits of sharp plastic. When the manager came over I was told to carry on eating and let him know if I found anymore!! No apology or offer of replacement. Its fair to say we left very quickly and shall not be returning EVER!!

An excellent option in South London, good music, decoration and atmosphere, 100% recommended for its hamburgers and draft beer. Definitely a place to return

I went to Gas Monkey for the first time and had such a great experience. It was a hot day so we decided to sit in their outdoor area and have a few drinks and then dinner. They have a great cocktail list and an extended happy hour. I had 2 mojitos which were so tasty and I'm sure the cheapest in Clapham at £5.50. After the happy hour had finished I also had a Long Island Ice Tea which was excellent. We also ate there and thought the food was great. We had chicken quesadillas and buffalo wings to share for a starter which were very tasty and generous portions. For mains I had the Monkey Chicken Burger which had avocado, bacon and goats cheese in, amazing, and my friend had the ribs. We were both very happy and full when we left. The service was what made the night special though. Staff who worked professionally and quickly to serve, but also very friendly and accommodating to make sure our evening was going well. I look forward to going back soon.

I work for gaz monkey before the lockdown. The director say to me that I have to work for them for 1 month without be paid like that I got the guarantee that I don't quit the job. The director Sam talks me about confidence and etc. Even that very strange I decided to accept because I was needed to work. I an experienced waitress, not with the till but I was supposed to lurn with them. Before the end of the week, I came for work, and the manager tells me that they doesn't need me anymore because of Covid. And tell me to go back to my country and go back to school. At the end, they never pay me back And none of them answered back to my calls Worse work experience
