Honest Burger in Wandsworth

I thought I’d treat myself to my favourite burger place after being out of London a while, what has happened?! The salad dressing was poured into a burger box which obviously leaked through, over everything else and through the delivery bag and is now all over my floor. The chicken tenders were overcooked and dry, I wonder how long they have been sitting around. The (gluten free) burger bun also overdone and dry. Just bad all round.

Had lunch here today (Tuesday). The service here was amazing. The waiter was super friendly and attentive. He made me feel welcome on entry and talked me through the options. I saw how he treated everyone who entered and he was really good. I’m not kidding when I say it was the best service I’ve ever seen outside of a Michelin star restaurant. If the rest of the staff are that good then fair play to them. I went for the special which was a three cheese beef burger. It was decent. The sauce gave it a nice twang and the patty was both filling and succulent. Had a coke to go with it. But there is a good selection of alcoholic drinks too. The chips were rosemary chips and were also very tasty. Would recommend them. Marks down for atmosphere only because it was super quiet. If it had been a busy evening I would’ve probably rated it higher. Overall a great lunch. I would go again.

We came in when it was quiet, our server was nice and honest to us about the fact that the beef burgers weren’t halal which I appreciated. The burgers were tasty and I really liked the wings. Everything was fresh! It’s a bit pricey, but everything is these days. Would come back again!

I was surprised how great the burger was. It is not cheap but it is delicious. One of the best burgers I have had in England.

Delicious burgers and sides will always merit five stars, but this particular branch has clearly suffered since the loss of the chimichurri as the local special.

Allergy users Beware: In short I ordered food without Fresh Onion as I am currently having issues with my Crohns Disease making it impossible for me to digest this. We decided to go to Honest as they advertise as catering to people like myself. Me and my partner specified that we wanted this removed in the order by removing it when selecting the meal and also in the notes for restaurant section. When the burger arrived it had this Black substance on my burger, Also didnt have any cheese or the Brownmayo you would normally see on a smash burger after having 2 bites we realised it was a thick glupey Onion type Chutney. Double checking on the site we found no reference to this and also we have been to this restaurant several times without having this on the burger before / we got our regular order which again has never had this before. I then called the restaurant to inform them of their mistake, the guy on the phone gaslighted me saying its always been like that and if I wanted the correct burger I should of called them before hand. He also said that they don't read the tickets every time from delivery apps. I found this last comment rather rude and dangerous because they made a burger without anything we asked for and then put on some onion chutney and made out that I was the fool for not calling them up to confirm that they have read the ticket correctly / they weren't putting on unwanted extras outside of the normal menu . I was then violently ill for the rest of the evening and haven't left the bathroom until this morning. Happy 31st Birthday to me eh. You could argue i should of double checked the burger before eating it but i would rebuttal they have never added this onion chutney before, but i would also say its not fair to put the onus on the customer to check for your lack of quality control. Poor Service, Poor Customer Service, to top this off Uber eats have rejected a refund on my burger after the food made me ill. Cant in good conscious recommend this place to anyone with health issues. In before the 'urm acktually' reply from Honest giving some bs reason why it wasnt their fault to cover themselves from any wrong doing and say its somehow my fault.

We normally get our burgers via telephone call, usually no problem and we pick it up. We tried to do the same and were told to order on line. Unable to select the burger that we wanted ( see menu) phoned back to explain problems on line, only to be told that they could not hear us. Finished the call.walked down to order, 2 people in restaurant and 6 motorcycle delivery guys waiting outside. Bloody shambles. Such a shame as they used to be decent.

Best burgers of London. Their rose mary chippsss;!!!! Oohlalala..!!!! Their plant burger is the best for vegan people out there. Came to have tooting burger. But unfortunately its discontinued. Miss it alot. Please bring it back🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Honest Burger tooting is a true gem. Staff were on top-notch service. The stunning atmosphere and music make it stand out. With a great vibe, diverse drinks, and delicious food, it’s a must-visit spot. Cheers to the Honest Burger tooting and their staffs for recommending us good food also for making our visit memorable.

Really enjoyed my experience here today. So glad I stopped and ate in instead of getting takeaway! Burger, fries and sauces were on point! Aayuska was especially good!

Absolute disgrace tonight. Delivered via Uber Eats but no fault of the driver, this shambles falls upon the staff closing and deciding to either not bother or I felt as I made a late order they decided to deliberately over smother the burger in sauce/s. Thanks.

Standard Honest Burger. No complaints

Very happy with the quality and especially the chicken being halal. So much flavour on the burger and the tenders are really soft and juicy. Bbq mayo to top it off

Honest Burgers never disappoint , juicy, fat and gristle free with their gorgeous signature red onion marmalade topping. Great service - special shout out to Ben the manager for being so efficient and friendly from the moment we walked in.

Ate in with my sister on a Sunday afternoon. First time seeing it quite as it's alway packed so decided to try. Food came quickly, cooked to perfection, staff were lovely. Will deffo be coming again! Lemonde is 10/10. Give me 14 of those!!

Don’t order from here on Uber. Blatant lies about expected prep time and slow delivery even with priority payment. Also they left half the food out of the order. Useless.

Lovely burgers, chips were, just like a chip off the old block. That is loads of scrapps wooden chips, so salty would certainly float on the dead sea. Most butchers in the old days would have used them instead of sawdust. If clever would use them as firelighters. Have positioned them in my back garden as a animal repellent. Will wait diligently until the trap is sprung. Foolproof.

Lucky and ayushka were very helpful and dealt with all our special requests with patience and good humour. We also received our burgers and drinks quickly once we ordered. It made our family Wednesday evening very enjoyable!

This restaurant has many different branches in the UK, and each of its branches has a slightly different feel. This branch is located about a minute away from the railway station, so you can easily find it. It is right on the road. next to. It is a shop that specializes in hamburgers. They mainly sell beef burgers, chicken burgers and vegetable burgers, so they can easily meet the needs of all customers. After ordering their burgers, they will have some fries with the burger. Their fries are delicious and worth recommending. They also sell some alcoholic drinks. If you feel that eating hamburgers is a bit greasy, you can have soda or alcoholic drinks, which is a good choice. There are two other interesting things to mention. They have restrooms. The restrooms feel nice and clean, and they have three places for use. In addition, they have some sauces that can be added, but remember that there is an additional charge.

I ordered their classic smash beef burger on uber eats. This is what arrived, absolutely pathetic

The good things: great for gluten free folks and for vegans which is why we went there. The bad: they had no onion rings which is honestly one of the major side dishes at any honest burger. The restaurant is run down and shabby compared to other locations and in some need of serious tlc. I’m also pretty sure I saw them top up my £10 aperol spritz with tap water.

Great burger and fantastic caramelised red onion relish. Consistent good quality of beef across the many branches of Honest I've tried. Onion rings sadly weren't crisp BUT it was boxed for delivery so maybe they don't travel well ? Still tasted good even though greasy.

Ordered delivery via Uber Eats. Understandably the quality of food is expected to be compromised. However, it seems that you serve whatever is left for delivery, the picture attached of chips does not really reflect on how bad they were- inedible. Chicken tenders were so dry that it resembled a chicken crisp. When competition is so high out there, you honestly need to improve your standards, very poor.

New chicken burger was great and had a lot of flavour. The fries are also very nice. NOTE that only the chicken is halal. Bit disappointed they did not have the vegan fritter burger as this was a fan favourite. Nice staff. Speedy service.

We received 2 burned burgers, looked very burned, tasted burned and smelled burned, and when we called, because they just closed, they leaved us with no food and even hung up on us... A disgrace!... We will never use them again... See pictures

Recently had my birthday with 10 of us here. Our waitress; Lucky was very professional and friendly, excellent with our kids and made us feel welcomed and not rushed. Everyone had an excellent time. Thank you Lucky! Of course the burgers were amazing 👌

Uber eats. Chips went in the bin. Garbage. In response to the reply. Yes, it arrived cold. However, the chips were little nublets of tasteless rubber. Sell better food for the price you charge.

Best GLUTEN-FREE burgers you can find. Love that you can order the burger medium rare or medium pink here, not a lot of burger places offer that. The only downside is that the burgers could be a bit bigger, but this can be improved.

The burgers were really nice, juicy and tasty. The lemonade tasted so fresh. Only thing I would complain is the fries, tasted like it was not cooked enough. Service and ambiance were really good.

the burgers are great... however, what isn't so great is the awkward waitress I keep getting stuck with every time I visit. surely every day can't be her first day?? (even) I could do a better job!! hospitality is definitely not her calling... just a shame that management seem to be too afraid to tell her.

Have been to this place with family a few times and every time the service has been smashing and food superb. All their workers are polite and always welcome you with a smile suggesting that they are happy with their work environment n conditions. I can not recommend Honest burgers Tooting enough. Go n try for yourself.

Always friendly and staff are efficient - spoke to Ben when we were there last and he was very knowledgable and passionate about the food and the company ethos - food is exactly what you order and it's good food. Would highly recommend

I had a bad experience with a take away order from Honest Burger via Uber Eats, so I left them a review. I received a response from them requesting I get in contact to 'make things right'. I responded to their message and received an email from a person named Lucky on 4 January, advising me that they can only issue me a voucher to use at Honest Burger directly. I responded to say that going into Honest Burger isn't that convenient for me, but if they send me the voucher, I will look at going in and placing an order. That was on 9 January and I have heard nothing from Honest Burger or Lucky since. You would struggle to find a poorer level of customer service anywhere. GBK here I come!!

Having walked 25 miles yesterday, a perfect way to start the day munching a pink burger. It was absolutely delicious, thank you.

This place is the best burger place and not just because of the food! The staff are so warm and friendly, and brighten up our evenings whenever we walk in. The Manager I think a tall white guy was amazing and attentive the food was fresh but the Flavours weren't necessarily all to my liking. I particularly enjoyed the rosemary Fries. The Mojito was horrible though, it's from a Tin and tasted like it.

We come here regularly and would really recommend the place. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with reliable food which is great value for money. We are most often served by Greeshma, who is very kind and goes out of her way to give good service, making sure my son and I are taken care of.

Most (if not all) of the menu is available gluten free. Staff is very friendly, place is clean. Not modern, rather older style atmosphere, quite cozy

Delicious food. Burgers and fries best in town. There was an unfortunate issue with our bill. I spotted the error which might otherwise have led to us being overcharged as items were included that (presumably) belonged on another table's check. The restaurant wasn't especially busy and this oversight could easily have been avoided had it been our original server who brought it over and/or double checking the number of items vs. number of diners.

Disappointed with the smash burger, didn't taste of much and my husband's bloody Mary burger was medium rare and not medium well. Kid's portion was very generous which was surprising and loved our South African waitor he was ace.

Quick service, atmosphere was the Honest vibe as usual. The food as always with Honest was excellent, the best burgers I’ve had.

Best customer services and absolutely delicious food.

I am very please with our experience at tooting with my family. Dinning out with 3 little ones is not always easy but a part from enjoying our dinner we enjoyed a calm and friendly atmosphere and outstanding costumer service. We will definitely visit them again soon!

We went here as they do gluten free burgers and sides. We had the wings to start which were very nice and had a lovely sauce. The burgers were superb, large tasty and filling. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

Normally go at lunchtimes and always great food. Going in the evening was just as good! Christmas menu deal was an added bonus. Food delicious, service was top quality and bill was very reasonable. It was a Tuesday evening so a little quiet but out with 4 girlfriends so didn't bother us! Thank you, we'll be back!

Really exceeded expectations tonight as we did come in to eat pretty late and last minute. Chips were so hot, fresh and crispy, buffalo wings were super tender and pulled apart. The Christmas deal is really good value and the onion rings side have an amazing flavour. Service was friendly and welcoming too, in spite of us being so late! Seems rare these days that you go out for a spontaneous meal and all of the food is actually incredibly tasty and not ridiculously expensive - so thanks Honest Burger!

Uber muddled our order and the team here still rectified the issue, and whilst yes we then had to head there they did everything in the most above and beyond way and even offered a complimentary drink each. A great team here!

Food as always was great. This time I order the uber eats. Unfortunately I ordered a burger without sauce, the burger came with sauce but the restaurant sorted out and sent me a new plain burger. I am very happy with this as often I just get food I can't eat. Thanks to the team for sorting

Ordered from them first time for very late night craving. Delicious wings, meat would melt in your mouth, but they are on the small size so work as an appetizer. Burger was good but don't think they've used to many spices, a little bit moist what I don't like in my burger. Fries were a disappointment, felt they been sitting in store for hours, not freshly made, almost burnt. Probably time when I ordered was a factor here.
