Food overly salty , food is confusing too much going on. Rice still hard. I wouldn't go back. Very good portions. The cocktails are good.

The food is good but the portion is stingy like I was not full after paying £50 for 2 lobster trains , 5 prawns , max and cheese two sweetcorn’s and an egg and one waffle I feel as if they could add a little more to the portions for £50 but customer service was good would recommend but not if you like value for money

Came all the way from West London, to be treated like s*** by a little girl called Yasmin or Jasmin, whatever her name is. She looked at us with disgust when I asked her for two straws and walked off. When I approached her and asked why she treated us in that manner she started arguing with me and making false accusations. I then complained to her supervisor Emmanuel who literally did nothing about it nor apologised on her behalf. I then went to complain to the ‘manager’ Rachael who was very nice at the time and tried to deal with the situation; during our conversation, two customers (whom I had absolutely nothing to do with) came up to my face and threatened to stab and punch me for complaining about a waitress. I was completely bamboozled by this, the staff were not so great dealing with the situation to the point where I had to call the police to feel safe. It was an awful situation, I was scared for my life and had to wait a while to leave just in case the two women were waiting outside. Worst experience in my entire life and I do NOT recommend anyone going there unless they want to be abused, threatened and wait over two hours for food and drink. Out of all of this the only positive I can take from experience is Samira, who is a lovely waitress. I would also like to add that when the police asked for the details of the customers who threatened me, the manager Racheal, said she didn’t want to release that information as she didn’t feel comfortable with it, in other words she would rather have someone threatened and stabbed then provide vital information to the police which could be significant in resolving issues. Trap Kitchen is run by children and the staff clearly do not care about the safety of their customers since the manager refuse co-operate with police.

I stopped by Trap kitchen NW1 order meter their maccheese lobster and waffle. First of all I waited forever to receive this take away after he said it should be ready in 10mns. I had to complain for him to go in the kitchen then brought the food. What I paid £36 for sis not even close to what I was served I regret going there and felt cheated. The small mac cheese and tinny lobster tail I received did not look like a good for £30. I ordered additional chicken wings which I was given them in a kitchen foil wrapped with cling film, I was disgusted by the quality of service for the £36 take away. Never ever order here they will cheat you out of your money for nothing take your money and eat at a better restaurant.

The server Sue was amazing very attentive but not over bearing. Had a pleasant tone and was very understanding of everything I asked for. Definitely a great experience!!

Absolutely delicious food. Outstanding service. I’ve literally been dreaming about the Mac cheese since my visit. Sons devoured the food in 10 minutes.

The venue from the outside is deceiving, dining area goes round to the back with intimate booths and well placed lighting. I had the 1/2 slab - 3 bbq chicken thighs, deep fried broccoli and mac n cheese. I added bang bang prawns, they are a must! The rum punch was beautiful. Definitely make a return visit.

Service was terrible! Food was mixed up with my family members. Missed food from my order had to travel from Edmonton to the branch to sort everything. Extremely disappointing service the manager did not aim for the customer to be put first and kept saying if you come next time you can get..... as is coming next will help the current situation. I wanted back more than the £7 being offered for going out of my way and they ruined my birthday celebration. Sent an email to their "head office" as I was quoted so many times. They replied when I wanted to confirm the email address did not reply after that. The girl that initially took my order was pleasant. As for management please sort out your customer skills!

Just put down my container. BEAUTIFUL FLAVOUR. But So so disappointed. I been wanting lobster for months. Smh. Just so oily. People can cook. I know when somethings been reheated. Possibly more than once. My lobster was so tuff I had to put the fork into it, and hold it with my finger to tear off piece. Oil all in the bottom of the tin from the cheese on the pasta. Prawns tasted good but again not fresh. Lol I even tipped to see if it would sweet up the chef. I really wanted to like it. I might go back, if I’m passing the restaurant. And I’m hungry. Maybe it’ll be fresher. But this wasn’t it. I wanna support and not be miserable but the thing wasn’t free. Would have been a return customer, for sure, if it did taste good/fresh.

Pretty disappointing. We arrived at the door and no one greets us for about 10 minutes. The food was not great and I don’t know what all the hype is about. We paid £140 for 2 people which I think it’s a bit expensive as the food was ok. The chicken was dry, lobster was good and mac&cheese was alright. The only positive was the waiter who was lovely and attentive.

I am still thinking about this food. Great place for a date, eating the food is an experience for itself! The bang bang prawns were incredible, order extra!! We practically rolled out the door, I just couldn’t stop eating 😂 Staff were so lovely as well. Will definitely come back, very keen to try more.
