I've been a loyal customer for quite some time, largely due to my love for their milkshakes. Unfortunately, I've had consistently frustrating experiences with their online ordering system. Orders take over 2 hours to arrive, and getting in touch via phone is nearly impossible. Moreover, my orders have often arrived with the wrong flavour. Even a face-to-face visit last time was a lengthy affair. The poor customer service has left me extremely disappointed. Despite my affection for their milkshakes, the ongoing issues have led me to reconsider. I ordered today at 9:09 pm and at the time of the review, it’s currently 11:29 pm and no one answers the phone and still no milkshake. Update next day morning 6:42 am: no one came to deliver the food… but the money was taken from my bank account!

The only thing good About this 1/4 grilled meal is the lemon The interior is fine, Customer service is good and i got my food in less than 10 minutes. However, the food was so bland and tasteless. Disappointed with the food.

Had a great time last night watching the Champions League Final in the private room here at Grill & Shakes. There was more than enough space for myself and 4 friends and so the viewing of the match was a pleasant experience! I ordered the chicken steak burger meal with steak chips (not pictured) which took the longest to bring out but was more than worth the wait. The wings platter was also excellent with a selection of spicy, BBQ and lemon all in one dish 👌 Thanks for the nicely combined dining and entertainment experience !

The customer service is great and the workers are so so kind. They also give out free English translated Qur'an's and leaflets and books about Islam if you want to find more about the religion whether you're Muslim or not. The food is also very nice.

Lol menu states "over 12 flavours of ice cream" look at my pictures. Barely twwo and half flavours. The ice cream look. Months if not a year old and scraped to. The bottom. Hardly "fresh" like they claim. We waiting for over 20 mins with not even a look from the staff in our direction. We asked if we can order and all we get is "1 min bro" we waited another 15/20 mins and decided to leave as they were not clearly bothered about us. Disgusting customer service. And it wasn't even that busy. Grown men struggling with a few milkshakes.. This place does not even deserve to be open.. Cash only too which is a thumbs down.

Website does not specify that delivery in general (says free delivery) is after 6pm so I spent hours waiting for my food and rang them several time with no answer. Eventually they called back but still a very unprofessional establishment the way they handled the situation was abysmal

ALERT!!!! CASH ONLY 😳😳. They don’t accept any card payment!! The reason I gave 1 start is this shop doesn’t accept any card payment at all. I’ve been to the shop ate with friends and the time to pay bill they told us cash only. And non of us has cash. So need to send one of my friend to go out and find a cash machine to withdraw cash to pay the bill. It’s awful. We are very disappointed.

Went in with family and was very disappointed. We waited a very long time for food and when the loaded burger came it was tasteless!! Lacking salt and taste! Informed waiter who was unbothered! Will not be returning

This place is very unhygienic!! Do NOT EAT here at all costs! I walked in with the intention of ordering Grilled chicken & rice, however when asking if the food is fresh I was told ‘eat at your own risk’ & informed that the chicken was not fresh. They go by the policy, what’s not served today, will be tomorrow. This is awful! Do NOT EAT HERE!

When I meet a friend in London, this is a regular go to. Freshly prepared food, wide menu choice, huge range of shakes. Ahmed is always friendly and helpful. A great place to relax and unwind

First time coming here. They have a variety of milkshakes to choose from. The milkshakes was nice, however I feel like they should change their straws. The straws bend easily and the milkshake doesn't come out easily. Price seemed a bit too high for the portion. Regular was around £3.45 and large was £4.95 😬. Tbh its more worth getting milkshakes from creams as the portion you get for the price is more worth it. Overall Customer service was good and friendly.

I have been looking for lemon and herb grill chicken, and this place does really good sauce and chicken. if only they gave me the recipe, I tired but its a secret.

I went just before the closing time therefore there were no toppings left however, I enjoyed the fresh waffles here. I also wanted to get cookie dough but this was also out of stock. They have seating and the shop is clean and well kept and the service was good too. They also accept card here so that makes it more convenient. Sadly it is on a busy main road therefore parking can be an issue. Overall I would recommend (just not before closing).

Good food good hospitality but only 3 stars coz of the amount given for the price but the pfc next shamims 5 star all the way not just a family friend but treating loyal customers with proper food respect

For then money I spent, its one if the worse places I've ever eaten from, especially the chicken nuggets I got for my daughter, dry crusty and hardly any chicken, I couldn't allow her to continue eating them, the milk shake was the only nice thing I got and I ordered a burger, chips, rubs, wings to me that says alot

There’s a reason I keep coming back to this place and that’s because they have the best burgers in the E14 area! I’m talking quality meat, juicy and succulent with big portions (double burger is 12oz) how a burger should be done! Staff from answering the phones, to delivering my food have always been lovely. Have even sent me a couple of freebies at times (chocolates and lollipops for being a loyal customer)

Honestly, I’ve been to Shamims Grill and shakes quite a few times and they’ve never disappointed. Walk in and you’ll expect a warm welcoming feeling from the staff members, making sure you’re comfortable no matter what. You can’t fault the decor, it looks amazing, everything just for you to see. It was my little sisters birthday and it didn’t take long for them to serve their food at such high quality standard at an affordable price as well!! I have to emphasise on the fact that this place deserves 5 stars, without a doubt. Yes the food will always be what you’ll be going there for but the customer service is what makes the experience an AMAZING ONE, the 2 phenomenal members of staff behind the counter did absolutely everything to make sure we were happy and satisfied, AND there was 2 other families there but we still felt they invested 110% in everyone. We asked to take away half a grilled chicken which was partially eaten. Accidentally one of the kitchen members threw it away but without the need to, they made a fresh half grilled chicken for us to take away which alhamdullilah I can’t explain How much these lads have done for my family and for my sisters 13th. Absolutely phenomenal. I 100% recommend this place for everyone, and I recommend you tip these lads because they really know how to put a smile on your face. You won’t be disappointed.

It's not what it used to be, the food was really bad. The wings amd chicken were really old and dried up inside and tasted disgusting.

The staff at Grills and Shakes are friendly the food is great if I was able to change one thing it would be to remove to the TV and have music playing not everybody wants to see a sporting game playing when eating if I wanted to do that I would go to a sports bar.

Found this place by accident, but was pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty and their milkshakes are lush plus the service was Astar. Will definitely be going back

My dad brought me here from Bromley for the chicken and i got to say this is the best chicken I ever had since my 22 years of living in this big, crazy and tasty life it was so good that its even better than sex! Come take a visit at my boss man place of tasteness voila! The places is also very clean and tidy with a nice TV for the news lovers! Very good customer service feels like being in a dubai 7 star hotel

Do NOT go around lunch time, specially if your at work service is way to slow. I would say food quality is ok and price is reasonable. Wasted around 10Min today, what really annoyed me was only one other table was booked. it’s not like they are very busy now imagine if the was really busy God hell them.

They guy got rude and said i cant tell you the full menue specifically and hanged up on me without giving me a chance to tell him i just wanted to know about their milkshakes. I must say their customer service is very appalling, these people need to know how to speak to customers

This place does some brilliant food and even better dessert. Shame the place isn't a bit bigger but there are some private cubicals at the back, it's got a really nice atmosphere.

The food is here is like a lottery. Some days is good, others it's bad. My burgers were overcooked and lacked any seasoning.

Bengali owners but they know how to make proper Turkish chicken donor with an excellent price! Can take a little time but it's worth it. Love their garlic and chilli and sweet sauce too!

They provided us with bottle of water and cups but the bottle had curry around the top were the water pours out. The ice cream I chose was ferrero Roche but it tasted like normal chocolate with nuts! Not worth the money!

No hot drinks even though menu has a variety. Settled for English tea hot water infused with tea flavour, with cold milk which the staff member accepted request to heat up as that's how I like it.

And it still has not arrived the estimated time just keep increasing.

I often visit GS on my lunch break, the staff are very friendly, the restaurant is always clean, there is additional seating towards the rear of the restaurant for a more intimate and private dining experience. The food is always served timely and is well presented. The menu has a good selection of starters, mains and deserts. Also the shakes are fantastic. The only downside may be that the location is on the main road so although their is outdoor seating, I wouldn’t want to eat my meal beside a busy high road. However the restaurant itself is well decorated in an American diner style so the atmosphere inside is ideal.

Such a great choice for food. I had the tikka biryani. Such a huge portion! Everything was piping hot and I can't really complain however, a little constructive criticism to the owners would be to give a little less rice and more of the saucy side as it was running a little dry and i (plus many others) like to dip the naan bread In it. Other than that one downside it was top nosh! Cheers.

Excellent service excellent food... clean and a very family based atmosphere stuff are friendly and food came on time cooked fresh, desert was excellent and a huge drinks menu.... definitely book and give it a try..... separate place for women to seat if needed so a place for everyone.... my overall experience is a HUGE 5***** Will definitely be going back there... also plenty of parking around the back

I brang my family here it was very good, food is lovely , staff are very respectful specially the main guys that are there, hats off to them. They have a private segregated area for women and families. there's 2 mosques near by not to worry about prayers and deserts are lovely. Definitely should try this place. ***** 5 stars from me . lunch offer is brilliant value. Had a half chicken with chips and drink for £6. The food was good and of generous portions. However the service was quiet poor and the man behind the counter was very unattentative. I wouldnt put this place down but a bit more personality would go a long way. Would recommend the lunch offer.

NOT going to order anything again here. It was delivered after 1 and half hours. Taste was awful. Too much salty. Lamb was rubbery and not cooked properly. Not worth 1 star. STAY AWAY guys! If you see all the reviews with 5 star you will notice that these are all given by their friends and relatives.

Worst place to eat at guys believe me!!!!! Me and my friend ate there and lo and behold the next day I had terrible stomach pains and she was vomiting non stop the next day day 😥. We both got food poisoning and we do not know what the hell is wrong with the food. It's probably very unhygienic or something. We will never eat here again so take care guys! They do not even deserve a one star. The food also takes a considerable amount of time to arrive to you.

Delivered a chicken salad and I found some insects in the delivery pack (not inside the food). The salad was separated from the chicken and it was placed in a disgusting plastic bag. I didn't even tried the salad after I saw the insects...

Ordered for the first time. they were very friendly and said upfront that they were busy and there could be a delay. chased my food after 1 hour and was told the driver had just left bearing in mind i live a 10 minute walk away. The food arrived - the burger was over cooked and dry, and chips and fried were cold. Sticky wings were basically SFC wing that you get from any old Chip shop but smothered in BBQ sauce - not worth £6.99. The only thing stopping me from giving them a 1 star was they do have polite employees but the food was most certainly a disappointment. Maybe i will give them another chance and if all goes well i will change my rating.

I originally gave this place 5 stars a couple months ago, but after our experience last night I am giving it a 1! Maybe it depends on the day, but the staff were inattentive, our food took an hour to come, and when it finally did come you could tell it had been sitting around. It was very rubbery, had cold spots, stuck to the plates, just awful. To make matters worse the employee gave the TV remote to a group of boys who then changed the channel we were watching to a channel with no signal! ???? There are also so many people coming off the street walking straight into the kitchen or loitering inside, it makes the seem like there is something else going on. The kitchen door just also leads straight to the PFC next door, so you're actually just eating PFC at a higher price. As I said I had originally given this place a 5 star a few months ago. The food was good, service was good, and we came back because of it. But it has definitely gone down hill! Will not be returning, unfortunately.

Visited this place many times and I have no complaints (actually just one, parking!). The food has been excellent on every visit. I wish they had a branch in Luton so I could visit them regularly. The staff are very polite and made the service personal. Very clean restaurant and I will certainly be visiting them again.

Ignored order which specifically asked for NO SAUCE, NO SALSA, NO TOMATOES. And didn't even know how to cook chips properly, sent uncooked in the middle. Absolutely pathetic. Never buy food from here.
