The best restaurants in Tower Hamlets London

We ate here last night after reading great reviews about Pizza Union. Honestly, we loved it. It’s exceptionally good value for London and the quality of the food wasn’t compromised at all. We had 3 large beers, olives and 3 pizzas for £44. It was delicious and we wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again.

We had a fabulous dinner. I had asked our waiter what dish he'd recommend and wasn't disappointed with his choice. Lovely service!

Very disappointed by our visit to this restaurant tonight. Friends had booked having checked online gluten free was available as I’m a coeliac. We arrived stated I was coeliac and we needed gluten free and were taken to a table and presented with menus . When asked about gf the lady said she’d explain shortly . She came back and said we can’t guarantee it’s safe to eat here for coeliacs as cross contamination is an issue . We said it had stated they offered gf options ie pizza etc . She said they do but cross contamination would be the issue. We said but if you offer options are they not prepared separately and she said no cross contamination would occur. We said we would go next door to another restaurant and she just said ok. Later we looked online as my friends said they had checked it out . Comments on their website state “we offer vegan halal gluten free.” It also states “ we prioritise allergen safety with our practices regarding cross-contamination” Although it states “we can’t guarantee an allergen-free kitchen “this is usual and expected however the reference to cross contamination practices would assure us. However in our experience it seems the restaurant doesn’t offer what it states or adhere to the promised practices. It was very disappointing and a gf option did not seem possible from our interaction with the staff member So coeliacs please note. Why she went to the bother of seating us we do not know . She could have said at the desk when we asked at entry instead of the farce of seating us.

The welcome was warm and the food amazing. Views from the upstairs showed all the buildings lights but downstairs was warm and cozy! Don’t leave without trying the baclava.

Esperienza particolare in questo localino decisamente fusion. Cucina che definirei sorprendente e molto appagante.

The food was amazing however the staff made the experience unforgettable thanks to Zinou and the rest of the staff! Will surely go back back again

Great view, excellent food, superb service. This is a lovely place with great food and drinks on the edge of the dock. Sat outside and they laid the table with a lovely cloth. Had best Indian food in ages had the prawn and mango curry.

This was our first visit to the Roman Road market, since lockdown and I was pleasantly surprised. We didn’t know Adam had left but the service was still great. Hot fresh coffee and really nice Staff. Now the market is starting to reopen we will start our regular visits again.

Éramos un grupo de 5 chicas, realmente cuidadas y no exageraré diciendo que este fue el mejor desayuno que he tenido en un restaurante. Tan sabroso y fresco.

Excellent coffee plus a sfogliatelle - Italian lobster tail custard filled pastry - which was absolutely perfect. All on. Special for four GBP.

This lunch spot is unmatched when it comes to excellent Italian cuisine - if you want a true and authentic bite from Bologna then Indegno is the place to eat! The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable on the ingredients too - it's a must try!
