Incredible food, even better service! Hidden gem in East London! Ordered pancakes and French toast with cold drinks and enjoyed the presentation as well as the taste. Service was impeccable; staff are polite and welcoming! Really enjoyed my experience and will be back again and again!

Always go there for our Sunday brunch and service is amazing, the food is always cooked to perfection. Can’t recommend this family run restaurant enough. You have got to try each menu item atleast once.

I can’t recommend Donasào’s enough, we pre-booked as heard they get busy for Sunday lunch…glad we did! Sebastian gave us a warm welcome, both the food and service was amazing. We opted for the grilled king prawns to start followed by the roast pork belly with Katsu Banana to finish. Hidden little gem that I can’t wait to get back to.

A hidden gem. A warm welcome to and nothing too much trouble. Without exception everything we had was hot, fresh and tasty. An excellent array of flavours and every meal we’ll balanced. Will definitely be back.

WOW!!! What an amazing experience. Had an English breakfast. Probably the best I've ever had. Fresh orange juice squeezed on order. Warm and friendly staff with the most incredible smile :) Super excited to have discovered this little gem of a place. Will definitely be back for the extensive cocktail menu.

We stumbled across this place and it was seriously the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. The interior was great, the staff absolutely lovely and welcoming, the food totally exceeded our expectations and it was the best steak I have ever had (beyond every big restaurant steak chain). The wine was delicious and the food beautifully presented. It was a great find.

We happily stumbled upon this gem of a place! Delicious food, wonderful music, lovely atmosphere and superb host/chef - a charming couple. I highly recommend and will be back.

A great place to visit - a local institution with excellent food (tasty and fantastically presented), and a huge selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Really friendly and every visit with friends has left everyone happy. Great to have in Chrisp Street.

Absolutely amazing brunch with a Portuguese twist. The ham & cheese sandwich was the best, the eggs royale can compete with any 5* hotel breakfast.

What a fabulous lunch. You almost don’t want to write a review here in case the place gets too popular but this really is a gem of a restaurant. Situated on Chrisp Street Market opposite David Adjaye’s Idea store, with wonderful people watching opportunities over a cup of coffee. But do get tucked in to the menu, we loved everything we ordered: the bruschetta on African bread melted in the mouth as did the creamy mushrooms and the halloumi salad had the best halloumi EVER according to our 11 year old son. Both the sweet potato fries and regular potato chips were very moreish and the sweet natas with caramelised crust at the end were out of this world. Sebastian and his team look after you with care and prices are very reasonable -highly recommended!

If I could give Donasao six, or more, out of 5, I would. Incredibly fresh and interesting food. Creamy mushrooms on toasted bread and bruschetta simply the best I have ever had. Odd location for such a brilliant restaurant but so worth the trip.
