Nora Cafe in Tower Hamlets

After giving nora cafe a huge 5/5 last time, we crossed over london to go for brekky again. It was still a ok breakfast, but it just seemed a little rushed this time.. get you in, fed, paid and out for the next ones to seat, as soon as we picked the toast up off the side plate, the plate was taken. As a person who doesnt like people emptying tables whilst people are eating this annoyed me The portion sizes werent as good as before, the brekky was good. But just didnt hit like last time. Please dont lose what you had by rushing folk in and out

This place is a gem. We went having searched for breakfast places nearby Aldgate. This place didn't disappoint. The selection of food is exceptional, so hard to choose and for a vegetarian so many choices too. It was packed out but the service was friendly and the food and drink spot on. Looks a little ominous from outside but don't be put off the quality is excellent and good value too.

Awesome place, cozy atmosphere, delicious food, especially English breakfast, yum black pudding!. The staff was really nice and attentive, it felt like having your family nearby. Will definitely come back again.

We enjoyed a tasty breakfast served by lovely staff at Nora Cafe during our recent trip to London. The cafe is tucked a little bit out of the way, but it is definitely worth the effort to find it, and you will be greeted with a warm welcome when you do. We had the cheese on toast, with added bacon, and one of the very filling hash dishes. For drinks we had juices, cappuccinos and hot chocolates. All of which were freshly made, tasty, and very reasonably priced, so lots to like about Nora Cafe.

Been meaning to visit for a while and I was finally able to find time to. It honestly surpasses the praise it gets on here - it's the loveliest place to get breakfast. I ate my full english so so quickly it was that good, and I loved the sausages especially, they were cooked perfectly. Thank you to the staff! You were all so kind I'll be back for dessert as soon as I can.

Food was alright but don't stay on the first floor. All fumes from the kitchen get concentrated there. Your nose will filter everything, and you will leave stinking of kitchen oil.

When we entered, we were greeted with Turkish songs. Turns out the owner was a very sweet Turk :) and he made us feel at home. Because the portions were so big, we couldn't walk when we left. Everything we ate was delicious. He also stole our hearts by offering us dessert.

This place is a real gem, the vibe is perfectly laid back and the staff are so welcoming. I had the breakfast hash, cooked fresh to order and tasted sublime. I originally wandered into a tourist trap on Liverpool Street and after being ignored for five minutes I left and took a detour down a side street and found this little slice of heaven. Just wonderful!

Delicious food, lovely staff and great service. It's nice that they have vegetarian meals. We came here to have breakfast and left satisfied with completely full stomachs. The portion sizes are good, and the desserts are tasty! The apple and almond crumble pie and the chocolate fudge cake really were great finishers. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Lovely people. Definitely worth a visit!

Cute little caff serving a huge variety of options and terrific value. Menu spans the globe, but I think the salads look particularly good. If you like a greasy breakfast that’s on there too, but I thought the chips were a tad underdone and the chicken a tad overdone. That said, the portions were massive and it’s so reasonably priced you can’t mind too much. Lovely staff, did their best to serve us even though we were late and they were closing.

We went to Nora's for breakfast by chance, but the taste of the omelettes was excellent. The attention and hospitality of the employees made us feel like we were having breakfast at our home. From now on, it will definitely be a place we will choose during our visits to London.

Highly recommend the hallumi and sujuk breakfast with the english muffins. As well as the english breakfast. Good portion, came out in good time, was all hot. Lovely people, esp the lady with her hair tied up and glasses on her head. She heard my boyfriend say he liked sujuk and actually bought a couple of pieces out extra for him, no charge. Bit of a confusing start, didn't know whether we were supposed to wait to be sat or if we went in and sat down, leading to regulars just skipping the queue and sitting down.

Small, romantic, nice and the best breakfast I ever had. The taste is great. My espresso was not sour not bitter it was just perfect. This is a hidden champion for having breakfast in London. Great job!

Conclusion first: this place is overpriced and overrated. Food was freshly made but not impressive, which was ok for me. The worst part was the service. Slow eaters be aware, this is no a place where you can take time to enjoy your breakfast. They are very busy and if you don't eat fast and leave they'll make you feel the pressure. I was eating not even halfway through and one staff member just came and asked if I wanted to take away the food. How rude was that. I assume a lot of tourist came here because of the promising reviews and they've probably never had English breakfast before. There are tons of nice cafes offering excellent breakfast in Shoreditch, for me this is by far not one of them.

Amazing food with even more amazing people serving the food. I had the spicy burger and fries and it was amazing. The menu is extensive and definitely will need a few more visits to try everything else. Small and cozy cafe, the people making and serving food are just awesome greeting you always with a smile. Well priced as well. Definitely recommended.

Very nice staff and cute cafe in general. The food was very tasty, but could be a little bigger. I got a brunch where there were 1 1/2 bread slices and a dressing for the salad would be desirable. The smoothies were unfortunately very stretched with water. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend the café

During our week-long stay in London, we were fortunate to be next door to Nora Café. From our first visit, we were impressed by the friendly staff, swift service, and the café’s bustling yet cozy atmosphere. It quickly became a morning routine for our son to head downstairs to fetch coffee for us. He relished this responsibility and enjoyed the warm interactions with the staff. Occasionally, his sister would join him. We also had breakfast there once, and it was delicious! Finding a place with excellent coffee, tasty food, and wonderful people made our London visit truly memorable. A big thank you to Nora and her team—you are all amazing! Greetings from Sydney; we’ve returned home safely, and Henry will always cherish his time with you, especially the fluffy toy you gave him. He felt very special. ❤️

Four of us were staying in Brick Lane and wanted somewhere close by for brunch. Nora's didn't disappoint. A really cosy, friendly, unpretentious cafe, right in the market, with a big menu. Everything was hot and tasty, and there was plenty of it. The staff were friendly and efficient and the prices were reasonable. It's on our list to visit next time we're in East London.

Naturalmente da Nora si va per la full english breakfast, che è declinata in varie versioni, sempre preparata in modo impeccabile da lei e dai suoi collaboratori. Ma anche chi non ama particolarmente questo tipo di colazione può trovare dolci di ottima qualità. A volte, quando avevamo l'hotel distante, abbiamo preso la Metro di proposito per andare a fare colazione da Nora. Il servizio è veloce e accogliente. La titolare si è sempre ricordata delle nostre visite precedenti anche a distanza di anni, e ci ha sempre accolti con calore. Super consigliato.

A buzzing atmosphere with great food. The portions are generous and of a high quality. The orange juice is squeezed to order and the coffee is great as well.

A family run café is perfect for your fully English breakfast, pancakes and more. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. You can tell this is a loved one by locals cause from the chat between the staff and the customers I realised I was surrounded by regulars.

We only have positive reviews for this amazing little cafe. The staff are always welcoming, no matter how busy they are, they make eye contact and they always remember your face or what you previously ordered!! I love coming here, my fiance and I, would now consider ourselves as regulars and we're slowly working out through their extensive menu. Everything we tasted so far has been delicious. My current favourite dish is the breakfast potato hash and all the set breakfasts are delicious with bubble & squeak, extra sausage, eggs are perfect! And the smoothies are amazing also, our favourites are groovy green and tropical crush. We can't recommend this cafe highly enough! 11/10 always!!! 🤗

The original English Breakfast!!! So deliciuos

1st visit: 3 stars -Quite good. I got Eggs Royale for £12.50 the taste was good but overall I would say the price is on the higher side because my local cafe does the same dish for about £9. 2nd visit: 5 stars. Very nice and taste spicy omelette! For a reasonable price of £9.50. one of the best omelettes I've ever had. I like how they experimented with the chorizo inside the omelette. Weighted average stars = 4 stars

I’ve been a regular at Nora Cafe for quite a while. Absolutely love the food and atmosphere here and the staff are super kind and welcoming. They have a wide range of selections on the menu and I recommend the omelette and English breakfast. Fancy a quick breakfast or a filling brunch? This is the place!

Some workers can’t speak English good, some can’t speak English at all. Food was very poor, service was v slow. Waiters for my order wrong.
