Vinarius in Tower Hamlets

I went to Vinarius for the wine tasting event on Wednesday evening. Delicious wines, very fun atmosphere, an evening definitely worth repeating!

I recommend this place 💯! Marco, Eugenio and the whole team are friendly, passionate and have excellent wine to choose from. I've left London now - and sitting in or taking a bottle home from Vinarius will be one of the things I miss the most!

Cozy wine shop, friendly and competent stuff, they really know a lot about wines and I really liked the ones me and my girlfriend bough there. We live local so it is nice to go there, get some recommendations and have a small talk to the owners. 5 ⭐️ hands down and great wines 🍷

Possibly the best drop I've had all year. Not an avid wine drinker but this was absolutely sublime.

My favourite little wine store, the staff are so lovely and knowledgeable. I can always rely on their recommendations which consider my preferences every time! With the selection and variety, there really is something for everyone.

Vinarius is really affordable compared to london prices. I highly recommend it (110%).

At Vinarius, I had one of the best nights I've experienced in London. Let's start by saying that I am Italian, based in London, and this was the most Italian place I've encountered here—meant with all the qualities that this adjective brings with it: nice people, good food, amazing wine. The place is beautiful and cozy, and the owner and staff are warm, friendly, and truly welcoming. The wine was honestly the best I've had in London, accompanied by delicious taglieri and nibbles. Moreover, it's a very affordable place compared to what it offers, especially considering the London market. Highly recommended. 11 out of 10.

When you enter Vinarius it is like coming home, you are welcomed by Marco and Alice with so much warmth and love. Marco guided us through a sensory experience of wine tasting and Alice delighted us with her exquisite taglieri (cheese selection, charcuterie selection and vegetable selection). Thanks to their friendliness and kindness, we spent the evening like family, enjoying excellent wine and good company. Laughter is assured!

The best wine spot in London hands down. The atmosphere is really familiar and feel like to be at home. The owner Marco is really prepared on every wine in his winery, and he really like to explain the history of every bottle you want to try. They also offer a top quality selection of cold cuts and a vegan/vegetarian option with just vegetables. I'll come back for sure!

We paid paid for a wine tasting session for two. Really cosy, initimate wine bar. We were looked after and attended to from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left. The guy who owns the place was super knowledgable and clearly wanted us to have a great time - and we did! Yummy wine, good vibes, will definitely go again!

I came by the store a few days ago with a friend to taste some wine and wow I really enjoyed it, both my friend and I were pleasantly impressed by its quality as well as impeccable service. Marco, the guy working there took care of us, guiding us through the right choice of wine for our taste. Amazing service and delicious wine! Really recommended, will 100% come back!

Order with caution! The tracking number they give you won't exist. You will spend a fortune on shipping and when your order does arrive Vinarius will tell you that they have been charged for your order to be returned to them. This is all after 2 weeks of waiting. Of course they will not refund your shipping or give any effort to resolve the issue. Cheers Vinarius and cheers Marco. :(

A wonderful discovery on the Roman Road - small but perfectly formed wine shop with the most generous and welcoming owner. I just wish I lived closer, but any time I am nearby, Vinarius will be my choice for both an aperitivo and to take away a couple of bottles of gorgeous, well-sourced wine!

Houses honestly the best champagne I have ever tasted. Even their Cremant is so beautifully delicate, fresh, and uplifting that it puts expensive branded champagnes to shame. Interestingly, you can sit here and enjoy a simple selection of beautiful artisan cocktails whilst listening to Latin house. Amazing wine consulting. Nice unique selection of craft beers and spirits as well as their whole wine collection to enjoy in house. The white negroni is simply not only the best type of negroni I have ever tasted but also literally the best cocktail I have ever had in my life.. Subtley sweet, peppery, alcoholic and wonderfully fragrant.

One of that places where you go once and want to get back always. Antonio is a brilliant chef, food is delicious, so tasty and presentation as beyond the expected! Mateo and Simone are great people that are always happy to help. Wonderful experience!

Went for a.dinner with my partner and our child, we ordered starters and them mains, not impressed with the mains at all as the meat quality isn't the best(not worth the price for the fillet i had) and the presentations of the dishes wasn't nothing special, spicy prawns stew was with frozen prawns, lovely the burrata and the beef tartare wasn't the best one too., a bit tasteless. I think this restaurant will have to work on the service a bit more and on the quality of food. The wine was very nice. All the pasta dishes are good as I tried my child pasta and it was ok.

Such an amazing addition to Roman Road. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and there is an extensive selection of wine on offer for all budgets. We ate there for the first time this week and really enjoyed everything we ordered. If you enjoy a cozy and relaxing environment and want to support local, definitely give Vinaruius a try!

Great Italian food which isn’t the same pizza and pasta you get everywhere else. Pigs head amazing, fried courgette good. Lasagne best I’ve had in a restaurant. They really know their wines too. I’m no connoisseur but they tasted very nice to me.

What a little roman road gem! I love this place and everything that goes with it. It feels a little bit like somewhere else. Really kind and friendly staff, fantastic selection of wine and other small bits. To top it off they also serve delicious food. Can't recommend this place enough!

Incuriositi da questa enoteca/bistrò a nostro parere dallo stile un po’ fiorentino, prenotiamo per passare una serata in compagnia di amici. Davvero piacevole l’antipasto con pane, focaccia senza sale e pane carasau con salumi e formaggi selezionati. A seguire un agnello to share e dei taglierini con bottarga e pomodorini (anche questi da dividere) e qui vediamo il tocco sardo. Servizio accurato e veloce, locale molto accogliente. Complimenti!

C'est l'endroit pour des importants privées de vins hors du commun et introuvables dans les grandes surfaces. Philippe nous a bien conseillé, à partir de nos goûts et de nos menus, à travers notre été anglais. Il a aussi gentiment remplacé une bouteille qui s'était oxydée. Les propriétaires voudraient-ils étendre leur boutique avec une boulangerie? / We were pleasantly surprised to "discover" this merchant near our temporary apartment in London. This is the go-to place for private importations and hard-to-find wines. Philippe was a helpful guide, adapting his suggestions to our tastes and menus throughout our British summer. Ha also happily exchanged an oxidized bottle. Will the owners now expand and open a bread store?

Booked a table for 3 on an early Saturday night. Room was already almost full but the ambiance was still chilled and cosy-very enjoyable. Food was tasty, generous and simple just as i enjoy it. But the best part is just to listen to the wine knowledge of these guys! Wine list is sublime too. See you soon!

Cosy and intimate italo-french Enoteca serving a wide selection of wines by the glass and delicious charcuterie platters, cheese boards and focaccia (see pic). They also have some main course à la carte (pappardelle ragout was the dish of the day). Personnel is friendly, knowledgeable and fond of you always having the right glass of wine in your hand. Ideal to visit between 5pm and 8pm for a light meal or Happy Hour in an October Sunday afternoon with a few friends (or couples), when it starts to be cold outside and you fancy to conclude a walk in the park with the warmth of an intense earth-and-smoke aroma of a Valpolicella Ripasso streaming down your throat. I will probably spend here all chilly Autumn Sundays afternoons from now up until Xmas...

This is by far the best wine bar in East London, maybe even beyond! They have a wonderful selection of organic, bio-dynamic, regular wines at great prices and their food is delicious!

A hidden gem in Roman Road market. Experts in everything wine. Ideal to stop off for a bottle of wine, with a minimal corkage charge, and a cheeseboard or to pick up a bottle or two for later. We get also do very good beer. I could not recommend more!

Lovely little wine shop/bar. I have been to drink, to eat and for a themed tasting and was impressed every time. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, clearly passionate about what they do. You can try a good range of wines here, have a nibble or a full meal.

Was already impressed by their wine selection and amazing service, decided to try the food under a friend's suggestion and was simply blown away. simple, amazing produce and well thought recipes. all of the above for a super fair price. by far the best restaurant in the neighbourhood. hats off

If you love wine (like me), that's your place! Their selection is excellent. Most of the time, I buy a bottle on my way back home. But from time to time, I like to invite friends to enjoy an evening there, the wine is really good value, they only charge £5 corkage and there is some food to go with it! Recently, I really enjoyed a dish of Fregola, a typical dish from Italy. the atmosphere is relax and their staff is always friendly.

I had a really nice Fregola (a Sardinian Pasta) accompany by a glass of Barbera Superiore in a superb atmosphere.

The food was truly dreadful. The meat was tough, had to leave it. The pudding was dry cake with extruded icing squeezed on top. The accompanying wine was nice but was the smallest amount of wine I have ever seen poured into a glass. It was expensive too, and what with off hand and unfriendly service, neither of us will ever go there again.

Went there with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. Authentic Italian restaurant with superior food quality. Staff knew what they were doing. It was a delightful, friendly and tastebud-explosive experience!

If you want to try great wine and very tasteful truffle infused plates do yourself a favor a pay a visit to Vinarius. We also enjoyed knowledgeable staff which also cook from time to time delightful Italian dishes.

Found this venue by chance on TripAdvisor. I can't but confirm what all the previous reviews have already said. It's a cozy wine shop with a really great variety of wines from everywhere. I left very impressed to find one of my favourite wines which is from Cottanera- a Sicilian one, and with a very reasonable price for being in London. Nice, attentive and friendly staff, especially the French guy who nicely had a chat with my boyfriend and I. As for food the menu is not that rich but the plates proposed are very good and tasty! I I Definitely recommend and will come back shortly!

Warm and elegant location in the beginning of Roman road Market! The place offers a wide range of wine, specially from Italy, also during the weekend propose you a lovely and delicious dinner, ( big portion of Italian dishes: ex: lasagne, marinade chicken with polenta, risotto osso buco ecc ecc) perfect place for a couples!' Es mi local tienda de vinos / restaurante con bastante gente local que atiende en forma regular. Aunque estoy seguro de que una multitud de muchos invita más lejos estos días también.

Fantastic 'hidden gem' of Roman Road. Vinarius serves good coffee during the day while offering a large selection of beers & wines to either drink in (with a small corkage fee and the option of buying small food plates) or to take away. A very nice establishment with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth a trip!

A very nice bistrot is probably the best definition for this place. A good place to share a bottle of wine or have dinner with your friends, as you will find a wide range of wines, beers and other spirits along with carefully prepared food - definitely worth mentioning their truffle bruschette, and their specials of the day normally represent a delicious surprise that you will miss the next time! The staff is very friendly as well, and more than happy to guide you through their wine selection.

I went here last night with a friend and it's a lovely little cosy intimate place to go for a drink or too, the staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines and food which was great, the Precesco I had was absolutely lovely and I would recommend this place to everyone, so I will be going back there soon, Thank you for the lovely evening.
