Ordered a chicken burger meal with steak chips. The food was cooked fresh and was a decent size given the high price. The steak chips were cooked to perfection and the chilli sauce has a nice kick to it. The chicken burger was a bit overly cheesy for my own taste, but others may like it that way. Overall I would definitely recommend coming here for fresh and tasty food.

Love the quiet, unrushed atmosphere, they have fresh coffee, teas, carefully sourced, great vegan dishes. I suggest trying the Scandi Roast, so delicious.

Really wanted to like this place and arrived with high hopes, as the premise is a good one: vegan Scandi cafe. The menu is pretty extensive, with lots of fairly priced options with a Nordic twist. We both had the meatballs and mash which was delicious. Great to see lots of quality suppliers used. Why only three stars? The cafe didn’t feel welcoming, there were only uncleared tables and no effort from staff to clear them for customers coming in. Service was very slow: having eaten, I ordered some more drinks which never materialised. Staff were reluctant to catch my eye, so after 20 mins, we gave up and asked for them to be removed from the bill. Far from a chilled lunch, the energy just seemed chaotic and noisy.

Sort of a fast food place. They have a limited amount of pre-cooked meals, which I believe they warm up in a microwave, but it tastes very good. One of the best Langos I ever had and the Kurtos is pretty decent too. The place is small, but well decorated, hungarian music plays in the background.

Every time, a perfect coffee. And if that’s not your vibe, their seasonal homemade sodas are so refreshing. Food is also great. It’s hard to fault this place! Service is casual and friendly, and having no laptops at peak times ensures there’s always a spot to have your coffee, soda or lunch. Seeing other comments berating them for maintaining this seems weird. It’s a cafe, not wework.

Esta creo que fue mi comida favorita durante nuestro viaje a Londres. Todo era tan bueno, incluso hasta el pan y la mantequilla. Tuve el tagliatelle de conejo y me hubiera gustado tener otra porción que fuera tan bueno. La carta de vinos también está llena de interesantes selecciones y disfrutamos del tinto que tuvimos. Ojalá no fuera así en Londres para poder volver antes.

The Buxton ist toll! Es ist alles sehr entspannt. Trotz sehr später bzw. früher An- und Abreise lief es reibungslos und unkompliziert. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtete. Fön, Shampoo, Bodylotion etc, alles da. Eine Nespressomaschine und ein Wasserkocher für Kaffee und Tee ist auch im Zimmer. Für mich sehr wichtig, denn ich liebe den ersten Kaffee am Morgen im Bett zu trinken. Die Kapseln für die Nespressomaschine wurden immer wieder aufgefüllt. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht. Beide immer top sauber. Aus unserer Sicht wichtig zu wissen, es ist sehr hellhörig. Uns stört das nicht so, aber man sollte es wissen. Unten im Pub, der ein tolles Ambiente hat, gibt's ein prima Frühstück. Obst, Joghurt & Knuspermüsli im Glas! :) Alles sehr geschmackvoll angerichtet. Der Kaffee ist super lecker und der frische Orangensaft auch!!! Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag, ein gekochtes Ei oder Rührei wären toll. Die Nächte U-Bahn Station ist ca. 3 Minuten entfernt, zur Liverpool Station, wo auch der Stansted Express ankommt, ist ca. 10 - 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Für die Hotelgäste gibt eine kleine Dachterrasse mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Perfekt, um den Tag, mit einem Glas Wein, ausklingen zu lassen. Fazit: Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Danke an das ganze Team!!!

Hidden gem, a place to enjoy a drink or two, on its own or paired with the the French themed cuisine on offer. Great selection of Champagne and best place to try new smaller brands. We are so lucky to live nearby and will pop in very now and then. Quiet and relaxing ambience together with excellent service. What more can you ask for? Top tip: This is a combined bar & restaurant as well as a wine shop!

Él amablemente nos dio detalles sobre el restaurante y la terraza al aire libre, tomó nuestros abrigos, y nos invitó a relajarse en la zona del bar. Su servicio fue impecable, atento sin ser intrusivo y amablemente tomó algunas fotos encantadoras de mi hermano y yo para conmemorar su cumpleaños. También tuvimos el placer de conocer al gerente del restaurante, que era increíblemente accesible. Está claro que su liderazgo inspira al personal a ofrecer un servicio tan apasionado y de alta calidad. Bōkan 37 es una joya de un restaurante, y me alegro de haberlo descubierto a través de Groupon. Amazing tasting lamb shawarma, the guys are always welcoming.. my nephews have dairy and nut allergies and I ask about what was in the meat ingredients and they went into great detail about how it’s prepared, and the lamb shawarma has milk in it..but the chicken doesn’t and is great for my nephews .👌
