We used to love going to this 'out of the way' cafe. It used to be worth the extra walk to have a good Greek style salad and good coffee, but the last time we went the menu had changed for the worse and there was no welcome from the bloke behind the counter who I think is the owner. Won't be going back.

Went there alone for lunch and had chicken sandwich and tea. They were both great and the place is always clean and well decorated. Such a lovely cosy place, always calming. The price is reasonable too. A must go place if you are in the area!

Popped in here after a walk and found a lovely friendly haven from the rain. An extensive breakfast menu with lots of options and friendly suggestions from the owner/server. He even offered to lend us an umbrella when the heavens opened again as we left!

The usual breakfast take away doesn't open at the weekends so gave this place a try . The bacon was too dry and over crisp , almost hurt and the sausage tasted so artificial , the rolls , sauce and 'butter' didn't add to the experience . Won't be going back .

This is a lovely little find by the river and well worth tracking down - it's about 500m from the center of Greenwich. Fantastic food and very friendly family run business. There's no traffic nearby (rare for Greenwich) so there's nothing better than sitting outside on a sunny day and enjoying a snack or full meal here. Delicious and friendly!!!

The best cafe I have ever sen before in London. Everythings is so delicious in Munures Cafe. My favorite is their cakes! I like their hot drinks so much too. Besides, the owners of the shop were so kind and generously persons. Actually they have very special sense of humor. I love these lovely people so much. Thanks a lot Menül and Fikret. God bless you!

This place is fine if you're not looking for something special. It lacked atmosphere and was very quiet, possibly as it's not in the centre of Greenwich 'village'. The food was very mediocre and uninspiring. That said, I've only been once but not sure I'd rush back.

Once you discover Munures, you'll return again and again. This little cafe is unmissable with its bright pink decor. Located next to the bridge across Deptford Creek, it's a perfect stopping point for anyone along the Thames Path. For sunny days there are tables and chairs outside, Continental-style. On chillier days, the interior of Munures is warm, cosy and friendly. The menu offers a mix of food - I recommend you opt for the Greek/Cypriot options, which are delicious and often include delicacies home made with love by the owners.

Discovered this wonderful family run business couple of years back when cycling along the Thames Path and have kept going back ever since, including en route to Thames Barrier on charity ride from Bristol! The food is great and always fresh but even if you only want a coffee it is a much better ambience and location than the main chains - also being a family business you are made to feel so welcome - really well worth a visit

Just had lunch at Munure's and suddenly realised I have never written a review. I've been going there since it opened as my mum lives nearby. The food is always delicious, homemade and freshly prepared, and their prices are exceptionally reasonable. The lahmacun (Turkish pizza wrap) is particularly good, but you can't go wrong with anything off the menu, whether you want a meal or just a coffee. And the family who run it are some of the kindest, friendliest people I have ever met. They look out for their neighbours and regulars always. They do takeaways too - their hot and cold mezzes are great for parties. I think the local area is really lucky to have such a nice little cafe like this one.

Eureka! This by far is one of the best kept little secret cafes around Greenwich. The smell was amazing as was the taste of the coffee. The view was breathtaking especially as the bridge was in full action & sun was shinning. Lovely warm greeting when I entered the cafe, seats were very comfortable. Prices were very reasonable. I didnt eat but the food looked great & well presented. No idea who wrote the dreadful report in Sept but I can assure you he/she musthve been in a different cafe to me!!! This will be a regular little place for me & I live right next to it too.!

The first time I visited Munure's was on my birthday this year with my partner. The service was great, the coffee tasted fantastic and it's very reasonably priced. I much prefer smaller, family-run businesses to the huge corporate coffee chains so for me it's great to see a place like Munure's in Greenwich. It's a little out of the way from the town centre but has a peaceful, friendly ambience and plenty of outdoor seating which has views of Canary Wharf and the river. I revisited Munure's a few weeks ago with two friends who tried the hummus and pitta bread and really enjoyed it - I don't like hummus but they are very fussy about it so it must be good! The toilets are always clean, drinks always arrive quickly and it's got a lovely homely feel. I only wish this place was on my doorstep and envy those who live directly next to it!

Walked past numerous times (I live nearby) and always thought I'd give it a go as it looked inviting and promising from the outside. Shouldn't have bothered. The place is untidy and cluttered, looks like the redecoration job started sometime in the past and reached a stated of permanently unfinished. There are tools and materials and packaging all over the place and it makes it very uncomfortable. As for food and service... OK, he said it's a minimum 20 minutes wait. Fair enough if it's worth it. But it wasn't. 25 minutes waiting for: (a) a mediocre "Turkish" coffee made in an espresso machine, and (b) a peppermint tea - Twinning's best, plopped the teabag in and (c) two plastic cups of tap water and (d) a poor excuse for a "meze platter". The latter consisted of a small plate, half of which was covered with limp and mushy budgie food trying to pass for kisir, and four dollops of pale beige goo that all tested the same - i.e. not very much.Insult to injury: The wait was due to having four persons in the "kitchen" area behind the bar. One of which was slaving away frantically trying to produce orders, the other three mostly like having a chat with each other. Not the way to run a food business.Waste of time, and waste of money. Ok, it was sort-of cheap, but you do get what you pay for.

Called in here for a late breakfast on a weekday. They do a very filling cooked breakfast for a fiver, including toast and a big mug of tea or coffee. There's comfortable sofas and coffee tables or simple square tables inside with bistro tables and chairs outside overlooking the Thames and Deptford Creek. Very friendly and relaxed. The menu also included traditional Turkish Lahmacun wraps and Pizza.

Returning to Millennium Quay, Greenwich after 10 years away, what a wonderful surprise to find this charming friendly cafe right on the doorstep of the development ! Munure's cafe offers a wide range of delicious tasting coffee, with quality & taste, in our opinion beating the larger brands in the area, hands down!A good selection of traditional English light meals are also on offer, in addition to a compliment of speciality Cypriot dishes, which the warm hospitable hosts, Munure & her husband serve with friendly smiles and conversation.Enjoy your coffee alfresco whilst enjoying river views or relax indoors on comfy sofa chairs.Would highly recommend this friendly cafe, it's well worth a visit (only 5 minutes walk west from the centre of Greenwich on the West Bank of Deptford Creek) and for the lucky residents in the area, making this your local haunt!

Hidden gem, a place to enjoy a drink or two, on its own or paired with the the French themed cuisine on offer. Great selection of Champagne and best place to try new smaller brands. We are so lucky to live nearby and will pop in very now and then. Quiet and relaxing ambience together with excellent service. What more can you ask for? Top tip: This is a combined bar & restaurant as well as a wine shop!

Excellente table.

Great shawarma always make shawarma with fresh naan out of the tandoori unlike other shawarma when they make fresh naan they don’t but some sometimes do but mostly not they make the wrap out of the leftover naan and heat it up in a oven but this is the best one ever

Really lovely place with a beautiful atmosphere and vibe. Delicious food albeit a bit pricey though as close as one can get to a Michelin experience without the fancy pretentious fanfare.
