I have been to about 3 Wildwoods and the South Woodford one is just as good for food and the £10 lunch menu is great value however this branch has a kids room and although there were loads of kids sitting with their parents enjoying great food those in the kids play room ran riot whilst their caring mums drank wine and were oblivious to the noise. For some the kids play room is the reason to go here but for those who could not get out quick enough from the noise of screaming kids throwing chairs at each other it is a reason to avoid the place like the plague. For me and my daughter we will not return as the noise is just too much.

Unbelievably Disappointing. We’ve been to a wildwood in Portsmouth and were very pleased. We booked for a Sunday evening but needn’t have bothered as the restaurant wasn’t even a third full. We were shown to our table where my daughter promptly slipped over on the assortment of chips and rib bones on the floor. When I told the manager he was very dismissive. It took another 10 minutes to get menus, another 20 minutes to get ordered and get drinks. The waitress actually poured a beer vertically into a glass as she was turning around and walking off. She then left a bottle of wine on the table without letting us try it first. To say the service was dismissive and bored is an understatement. They then tried to charge us for another £24 bottle of wine that we did not have. Not one apology for anything despite pointing things out. Please check your bills. To be fair, the food was decent. The service appalling. The entire chain has lost our business.

We visited with our family and after waiting at the entrance to be seated we took it upon ourselves to choose a table and sit down as there was no acknowledgment from the waitresses whether we should wait to be seated or not. In hindsight that should have been a warning not to bother with the restaurant at all. After another wait a waitress came over and did apologise and gave us some menus, and that was the last we saw of her! After waiting a further 10 minutes without any service from a waitress even to offer us a drink we decided to get up and leave and no one from the restaurant tried to stop us, acknowledged us or apologised. I would expect a wait if the restaurant was busy but it wasn’t even half full yet we couldn’t get any form of service and it seemed they really weren’t bothered about our custom as I noticed the waitresses were happy to clean dirty tables or do anything other than attend to people waiting to order food/drink and all the staff couldn’t have looked more miserable! Don’t bother unless you’re happy for a lengthy wait and appalling service.

Had dinner at this restaurant before heading over to the O2 arena., located in a food mall in Jubilee Place shopping mall. Good choice of foods on the menu. We both went for Hoisin Duck Pizza with sweet potato fries as a side. I ordered classic and my husband ordered gigantic. The classic was massive, couldn't finish and the gigantic...well it wasn't a lie. Very tasty. Was hoping for a dessert before the main arrived but was too full! The staff were really friendly here, didn't rush us and were really polite.

It was a saturday afternoon, i went with my 2 children for pizza.

Eaten here before, not brilliant but not bad. In Friday eve not overly busy. Spag bol was pretty tasteless and colourless. Plonked on the table with no offer of parmesan. It took nearly 5 mins to gain anyone's attention to ask for that. I wasn't going to write a review but I've been trying to get waiters attention now for 10 mins to get bill so may as well give them a rating. Not very good. Won't be back.

The location in the Canary Wharf mall isn't great for atmosphere, but we were greeted warmly and enjoyed friendly and quick service. We ordered rosemary and garlic bread to start followed by a cheeseburger and a chicken burger. Both were very good. £40 with two beers and glass of wine.

Me repetirá este restaurante el 17 de septiembre como un viaje nostálgico porque mi hija queridos minusválidos, Caroline, y yo a menudo comimos aquí, después de lo cual nos explorábamos Canary Wharf y el entorno. This pizza is exactly like the one they make in my hometown, in the north of Italy. It's more expensive than other pizza brands in London but it's really really good, thin and crispy just the way I like it!!!

Fuimos para el almuerzo tenía verduras hamburguesa y colega pizza, pensamos que el servicio era bueno y la comida sabrosa bien estás en un centro comercial, pero es lo que es! Lo único que no me gustó fue el plato de madera que se puede ver en la foto está dividida y francamente parecía higiénico!

Visitamos para cenar un martes por la noche con algunos amigos. Entre nosotros pedimos unos hamburguesas, pizza, las costillas a la barbacoa, y un risotto de mariscos. Uno de mis amigos enviaron su hamburguesa volver tan pronto como llegó, porque la pieza de pollo era tan pequeño que ni siquiera se podía ver sin levantar en la cima pan! Honestly I expect a lot more from this place. We order two pizzas that were poor quality and two salads that were very expensive for the size and quality. Service was poor as well.

Do not trust the cook to prepare a proper pasta dish. Expect overcooked insipid pasta boiled in unsalted water and then drowned in sauces far too creamy. The pizza is fine. The staff is sufficiently efficient and polite.

I ordered spaghetti with prawns - was pile of really dried spaghetti with few prawns and puddle of grease. Friend had superfood salad with really huge chunks of broccoli, you can't really call this a salad...

Came here yesterday and was recommended the wildboar burger by what looked like the manager. It was a good choice and me and my friend really enjoyed them! Would definitely come back.

El animado bar Canary Wharf y restaurante. En su mayoría los sospechosos habituales en el menú, pizza, pasta, ensaladas, etc. El servicio es rápido y preciso. La comida es buena, pero no tiene nada especial. Lleno de gente de las oficinas agarrando el almuerzo cuando me fui.

Mi novio y yo estuvimos aquí para el almuerzo una tarde. Estaba en el corazón de Canary Wharf rodeado de restaurantes bastante decente, así que decidimos darle una oportunidad. Qué equivocados estábamos! Para £12,95 mi novio nos dieron una pieza floja de pollo peri peri ah mi era insípida. No tiene sabor peri peri. Y una taza de patatas fritas que estaban bajo preparado. Terminaba todo a pesar del aburrimiento en los suburbios porque él era tan hambriento. Mi comida fue horrible que espaguetis con con tomates enlatados; no una cizalla de aderezos o incluso un cohete en la vista. Y mi pollo, pero debajo de la miga de pan con nata era el cartílago, color gris y duro. No decir el camarero que me ofrecieron algo más (obviamente no gratis) rechacé. Recibimos un 10% de descuento. Lo que era agradable, supongo. Hubiera preferido no pasar un céntimo de dinero en este lugar!

So my partner and I, after a long day at work, had a very hard decision to make when faced with the choice of Nando's, GBK or Wagamama. We decided to choose wildwood instead. To say it was a let down is an understatement. We ordered the calamari for starter and then the peri peri chicken pasta and the peri peri chicken with fries. The calamari was edible but the two mains both lacked flavour.Whilst eating our meal Mr Blob had a view of Wagamama which he kept staring at longingly. The sadness and deep regret in his choice to come here was written all over his face. I had a view of Nando's. Need I say more? No, but I will. The peri peri chicken here was honestly an insult to Nando's. How could they get it so wrong? This restaurant is opposite Nando's so for them to serve such tasteless chicken in comparison is quite simply audacious.Both mains needed way more seasoning and it was the most unsatisfying meal we have both had in a long time. We have already made a pact to never come here again.However, on a positive note, the waitress who served us was nice :)Mrs Blob.

Restaurant entrance sign stated 'bookings only' when we approached, so I called and was asked to come in 20 minutes later. The restaurant was around 20% occupied at this time. Anyway, we went for a wander and came back at our appointed time.The service team were very friendly and set up a table for us in an area of our choosing. Nice.Nice, simple menu selection as well as a good beer, ale, cider, wine and soft drinks list.Food was well presented with tasty dips and salads. One steak from the 3 sirloins we ordered was sinewy and chewy, the other 2 spot on.I liked that the service wasn't included in the bill (it is for over 7 people) and fairly priced for 4 at 2 courses with alcohol.

Decent place in Canary Wharf serving nice food.Went for lunch on a Thursday with some colleagues. We had pre-booked a table for 12 noon, we probably didn't need to as it was empty when we got there but by 12:20 it was really busy.Service was good, food arrived promptly and was good quality food, would definitely visit again.

Let me start with the serving - poor. The server let us wait in the waiting area for about 5 minutes even though the place wasn't busy. Then the drinks arrived. Can you put more ice? Add okish food and not even asking how it is and there you are. The wildwood experience. I don't recommend it. The food looks good and I cannot lie it tastes good but the service is really really bad.

Visited with my husband and 2 children a couple of weeks before Christmas. We found this to be a beacon of calm amongst the busy and stressful shopping crowd. Staff were excellent, very attentive and always had a smile on their faces. Food was good, chicken pasta was peri peri but not seasoned well enough which was disappointing but the kids enjoyed themselves and staff were doing a great job even though it must have been one of their busiest weekends. Wildwood mojito was numbingly good. Will return

Situated within the Jubilee Place shopping centre. We chose to eat here as staying nearby and had seen this earlier in the day. I has pasta with chicken and mushrooms and my wife had a mini rack of ribs both very nice. We both has sundaes for desert and my wife does not eat cream but they were happy to make the desert without the cream. All in all a good meal and for 2 soft drinks, 2 mains and 2 deserts cost about £40 which I thought very good for this area of London. Would definitely go back again.

We went here when shopping with the kids. Their kids menu hit all the right buttons and there was plenty of choice for the adults too. We all enjoyed our food and would defrinitely go back when next there.

Had lunch here in this very civilised restaurant in a lovely setting. Decided to have the wild boar burger which was delicious, served with a toasted bun and lots of toppings and chips served on the side. A great lunchtime treat.Had yummy pancakes and ice cream for dessert and finished off with a very well made coffee. The waiter was extremely nice and pleasant and efficient.Loved the experience.

Avoid at all costs. A colleague and I recently lunched here - eating different dishes but both containing egg - and were both struck down with diarrhoea and sickness within the hour.This was subsequently reported and I was requested to "fill out a form" - seems that this must be a common occurrence.But despite providing all the necessary details which were "sent to my Regional Manager.." I have not received any apology or refund.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. It's always good. I had baked mushroom for starter and the Giganti Meat pizza for main. To drink a carafe of house white. All good. As was the service. To finish I had Eton Mess. Again, good. If you've not been before make sure to arrive early. All restaurants in Canary Wharf seem to get very busy from mid day.

Used to go there on regular basis when in our Bank street office...go for the lasagna and you will be sure to do the right thing!

I think other reviewers must have visited a different restaurant! Popped into Wildwood Jubilee Place for lunch today and ordered the Tiger Prawn Spaghetti, which on the menu was described as with a 'creamy white wine sauce, garlic, chilli, and cherry tomatoes'. It was the blandest plate of pasta I've ever had. The prawns were tasteless and there was literally ONE cherry tomato in the whole dish. The sauce didn't remotely taste of garlic and wasn't seasoned at all. When a plate of pasta is £10 you expect a bit more than that.I hardly ever write restaurant reviews, and am not a picky person when it comes to food, but this was so bad I wouldn't want anyone else to waste their time or money there!!!

Excellent food, excellent service, reasonably priced. After being ripped off by the nearby Iberica restaurant with bad food and damn ignorant staff Wildwood was a beacon of light. Simpler food than fine dining but they do it extremely well which counts for a lot. Expense does not necessarily buy you a good meal. Wildwood does an excellent meal. This is the second year in visiting London that Wildwood has surpassed our expectations in quality of food and quality of service. The food is reasonably priced which is a rarity in London, I don't mind paying more money for more quality in a meal but I found London restaurants have a high opinion of themselves possibly with the exception of Wildwood which rightly deserves the praise.

Beautiful layout of the Canary Wharf branch situated in Jubilee Place which is just past a gorgeous fountain and lights walkway... The staff were super helpful when we initially could not find the restaurant, giving us step by step directions over the phone and upon our arrival we were greeted very politely and chose our table. The food we ordered was served fairly quickly, presented so well and was piping hot! Just how we like it... Everything looked so good we forgot to snap a few pics Starters: Baked mushrooms, baked brie. Mains: Seabass meal, Risotto. Pudding: Hot choc brownie, sticky toffee pud with ice-cream... Each dish was such a delicious surprise!! Staff also kindly pushed another table to the one for 2 at which we were sat so that we had more room. It was just a fantastic experience - staff, restaurant layout and ambience, sublime food that {although we've had those dishes elsewhere before} tasted fresh and unique as though the chef had added his own twist to the food! The flavours were just so yummy! We absolutely loved it and defo hope to visit again. I highly recommend everyone try Wildwood Restaurant - the menu has something for everyone, from pescetarians {like myself} to meat eaters! Based on our experience, I don't think you can go wrong at this restaurant...

the food was amazing, and everything freshly made as we can see what the chefs are doing because its an open kitchen. everyone very tidy and the chefs always with a smile on their faces

Das Wildwood ist ein Besuch wert! Das Essen ist super, die Bedienung äusserst freundlich und schnell, das Lokal sauber und schön und die Lautstärke angenehm. Für Waffel-liebhaber, nehmt die Waffel mit Früchten, die ist der Wahnsinn!
