Billy-Bob's Parlour in Wyre

We absolutely loved this place! We wanted to find somewhere different off the M6 to eat and stretch our legs on our way north that wasn't the usual motorway services and Billy Bob's was just what we were looking for. It was so quirky and fun, our teenagers loved sitting in the 'gas station' to eat and the food was delicious and very big portions! The staff were super friendly and even though it's a huge place it was family run and attention to detail was great. This will definitely be our 'go to' stop on our travels north and south. We can't wait to try the milkshakes and sundaes that we couldn't make room for on this visit. The Lee Family. 😋

Excellent lunch, truly an American diner experience. Food was delicious, staff were brilliant, super friendly, nothing too much trouble. We were four adults and thankfully there is a section for above 12 years which was extremely quiet and very clean. The kids area looked superb if you have little ones. Duncan went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy and satisfied. Great value for money too. Would highly recommend.

Awful experience with the two obnoxious male members of staff. Having already eaten lunch we wanted play for our Grandchild and then to eat afternoon tea there. We were told, by person, at entrance of play park, that we had to book a table before grandchild could go into the play park. So, we went to book a table. The man in charge of table booking said that we had to have sit down hot food before child could play and could not book a table for later. Being elderly, we cannot eat two meals on top of each other. This second mans attitude was awful, he was on headset with the other person manning the play park and obviously decided between them that our faces didn't fit on this occasion. We have visited this and the Skipton site many times but never again now. Guys Thatched Hamlet, just about a mile off the same road is a much friendlier place where we feel welcomed, have activities for children in the holidays and the food is much, much better.

This place is definitely quirky and something different. Table booking on busy days is a must but they do try their best to accommodate everyone. The service was a bit of a miss, had to ask for napkins , knife & forks etc. most of the staff hover around the bar area and stand around chatting not really helpful. The food was disappointing, for what it is definitely over priced. I’ve been here 3 times and everytime I experience a bad stomach after eating here not sure whether it’s the food or hygiene but the cutlery was dirty and the tables not very clean. The extra charge for kids to play is ridiculous! Especially after paying for meals, I can understand if your just coming to play but when your eating food and wanting the experience the play area should be for free especially as it’s only a few swings and wooden play huts aimed more for small children. Not sure if I would visit again after experiencing illness after every visit.

Lovely American theme restaurant, I made a reservation for the diner and requested a small booth and was allocated a booth seat in the yellow bus. You can order food via qr code but I just went to the til with my table number as I found this method easier as I couldn’t get a signal. What is there not to like? Lots of choice with ice cream parlour and traditional American cuisine. We ordered two kids meals and a small stack of pancakes which was plenty. I also had a coke float and a juice which came to £35. The ice cream was £3.5 per scoop. Loved the atmosphere and buzz at the location, I can see why people like it. It’s expensive but it is worth a visit. The play area outside was £3ph which is reasonable but should be free if you’re dining at the restaurant as they are making enough just from that. The play area is good, lots of slides, swings which are a bit dangerous due to the way the twist, so can hurt others nearby. You can’t really control them. A nice play barn with zip wire, swinging ropes and slides with a mat. I would recommend and definitely visit again.

I visited BillyBobs at Myerscough with my extended family last Sunday afternoon and was blown away with what a fabulous place this is and cannot believe we haven't tried it before - excellent food and drinks options (amazing milkshakes) and a great play area for the children which allowed them to have fun whilst we relaxed for an hour. The customer service was perfect throughout and it was so nice to see everyone smiling and one staff member (Liam) in particular was very helpful in explaining how the play area worked and ensured we were happy with everything and the children cannot wait to come back again soon which we will most certainly do!

First time here and on booking requested adult area but this didn’t happen so surrounding with families with crying children but luckily they left. Food was ok. My chicken burger looked amazing but was a bit tasteless if I’m honest. The fries tasted powdery must be the spice they had on them. The chilli burger was nice and the no bun meat platter. The star was the waffle desert with bananas/ice cream. That I would order again.

Fabulous service from start to finish. Greeted warmly at the door and seated quickly with an explanation of how to order etc. food and drinks arrived after an acceptable wait. The decor and theme is great and every single member of the team we met were very welcoming. Food was good and reasonably priced. The play area was great and the kids loved it! £3 each for an hour was reasonable but maybe a discount if eating in. Would definitely visit again and recommend

Booked Billy Bob’s restaurant for a family day out, with two young children, as we were looking for somewhere nice to eat that would also keep the children entertained. When we arrived at the restaurant it was extremely busy, which we only took as a good sign, and queued patiently waiting to be seated. We were then asked if we would like to be seated in the bus (the kids loved the idea of this!) and was escorted to our table with colouring packs. On first impressions it was fantastic and we went to order our food. When we came back to the table we realised we had sticky seats, sticky tables and a filthy floor. At one point one of the children dropped a pencil on the floor and when we went to pick it up it was covered in dirt and wasn’t fit for use. The food arrived and I feel it was extremely overpriced for the quality and the portion sizes. You could eat somewhere like Hickory’s for a similar price and get much better food. The children’s menu was the most disappointing with just a sausage (pink in the middle), bun and sweetcorn ( no chips, rice etc). I would definitely not recommend eating here but on a positive note the children had a fantastic time in the play area which was much cleaner than the restaurant.

What a lovely surprise! Fantastic food in a great setting. There is a huge truck inside which kept the children occupied whilst waiting for the food to come out. The hospitality from the staff was brilliant, especially Lucy. We are here for the weekend and will definitely go back!

i went on a sunday afternoon with my friends and there were happy and fun vibes and the place and all the staff were lovely and especially one member in particular called Ariel who helped us and out and showed us what to do and served us aswell !!! she was great, and she always had a smile on her face. Have visited the Billy Bob’s near Skipton many times so it was great to discover this one close to where we were staying near Lancaster. Bigger than the one near Skipton but glad to see that the DNA has been replicated. Great breakfast rounded off with great value ice cream. Children’s paradise with trucks, buses and outdoor playing area. Runs parallel to M6 so could be worth a diversion if travelling North with bored restless children. Thoroughly recommend.

We come to Billy Bob’s regularly with the kids and as a meet up with friends. We always love it, great play for the kids and amazing food for everyone. We were served by Ashley and Marissa today who were really friendly and attentive, genuinely can’t fault anything.

We absolutely love Billy Bobs. We visit monthly with our daughters (age 9&10) along with grandparents and other friends. Today we had birthday party for our 10 year old. We booked it for 12 guests in one of the cabins for a hot dog lunch. I’ve held a lot of birthday parties over the years and this was by far the most relaxing one I have ever experienced. Upon arrival we were escorted to the cabin and we were allocated 2 party hosts called Maddie and Georgia who did everything! They were fantastic! We were so well looked after, it was a breeze! I was able to socialise with the other parents and relax. Would also like to mention the lovely Ashley who over saw everything, and kept bobbing in to check we were all ok. I would totally recommend the party package, the children had slushies on arrival, then a lovely lunch of hot dogs, snacky bits and crudités. Followed by build your own ice cream sundaes. The children then burned all the sugar off in the barns and were all hiding from their parents at the end as didn’t want to leave. The experience completely exceeded my expectations, and I was so impressed by the staff. I am always recommending the restaurant and play barns to everyone and now I will also be mentioning the party facilities too! Thanks for making our daughters day so memorable.

Never have I come across such amazing staff in an eatery. They were so friendly and accommodating, Lucy and Todd were amazing and we can not wait to go back. We were on our way home from Lake District to Rochester Kent when we came across Billy Bob’s, I have followed on social media for a while now. We were amazed by the size of the restaurant and the American truck parked outside so when we walked in and saw the bus and Coca Cola lorry we nearly fell over it was absolutely gobsmacking. Very easy to order food via the QR code, it didn’t take long for our food to arrive at our table all freshly cooked and delicious, I had a chocolate malt milkshake which was so good and I’ve never had such good pancakes, so fluffy and light. We don’t have small children but the play facilities looked great and the children there seemed to be having great fun! Great atmosphere, staff and food, we are already planning a weekend away so we can revisit The scouse southerners 😉

We booked dining online as it was the school holidays.We took our 4 year old grandson,thought it would be something different to try.We really enjoyed our time there.Didn't realise how big it was inside was really shocked.Great place and well thought out.Staff very friendly,service great as was the food.The only thing we didn't like was the play barn was overwelming for our grandson.It seemed to be full of older children, very noisy and if you ask me too many children crammed in at one time.I know its a coloured banding system and you only get an hour.So we went on the outdoor play area in between the rain showers which seemed better for him although very slippy as it's all wooden.We did enjoy our time and will return if only for food.

Play facilities were good, but most of the mums there were just chatting and not bothered parenting, so letting their kids run riot climbing the slide running in front of rope swing. £3 for play was ok though Diner only served pancakes +waffles. Today we had a party at Billy Bobs for our son’s birthday!! It was FANTASTIC!!! The food was delicious. The format was brilliant and the kids had an absolute blast. We were greeted by our friendly and super accommodating party hosts Olivia and Maddie and they went above and beyond to give us the best experience. We paid approx £250 for 13 children and the food stretched to feed lots of very happy adults and even a few siblings. (Some guests paid £3 for their other children to play) We had the cactus cabin and I can honestly say the pictures do not do it justice - our son was blown away by his special “party house” complete with his own back garden! Children had their own ice cream sundae, which they loved, especially the chance to choose their own sprinkles, sauce and sherbet on the table!!! Highly recommend for a super enjoyable party for both children and grown ups! We literally didn’t lift a finger all day!! Thank you so much!

We first visited Billy Bobs in January for food with our family - absolutely amazing atmosphere and the food (American themed) is great! We decided that we would book our son’s party there for February, the service we received from booking it up until the party was finished was brilliant! It was his 7th birthday, we invited 11 of his friends to his own private party house, which was so lovely. Parents could chill out downstairs and order food and drinks to be delivered and kids have access to the amazing play equipment outdoor and the play barn they then had their party food upstairs. We chose the hotdogs (really yummy) which was served with plenty of breadsticks, cheese, crisps and carrot & cucumber sticks. There was plenty of food for everyone, the children then get to choose 2 flavours of homemade icecream to make their own icecream sundaes. Throughout the party the children had unlimited slushes too. After food we could choose to play a party game or play again, we decided to stick with the playing as they were all having such a great time! From the minute we arrived we were looked after by the manager and our 2 party hosts Olivia & Georgia, who took care of everything and made it a really lovely party for George. Thank you Billy-Bob’s for a great afternoon. We’ll definitely be back! If you’re planning to visit at the weekend make sure you book and try to get a seat on the yellow school bus or the coco- cola truck!

We held our daughters 3rd birthday party here on Jan 21st and it was absolutely amazing. It's an awesome place which we have been to many times but I have come here to recommend the birthday parties! We had kiara and maddie as our very own party hosts , they literally took care of our every need , they were friendly, fun , super organised and really worked hard to give the best party experience. You get your very own party house , with an up and downstairs and a garden. The food was brilliant and so well presented , kiara and maddie took music requests off the kids which they loved and any additional needs were catered for e g a child wanted no butter on sanwhiches , some children. Only drunk water , nothing was too much trouble What we noticed was how easy and relaxed the party was as kiara and maddie took control & it just flowed so nicely. I would recommend to anybody . We had party house number one and invited 12 kids which all sat together around a big table. Trevor seemed to be the man in charge & he also came at various times to check if everyone was happy etc and was so professional.& friendly & takes it upon himself to make sure that everything is great and told us we would be in great hands with our selected hosts My daughter has amazing. Memories , thank you Billy Bobs :)

My 11 year old son wanted to try it. I/we eat out 3-4 a week and I genuinely cannot remember ever eating such terrible food, well I didn’t actually eat much of it because it was THAT bad. Girl behind the counter taking the order was so disinterested, missed the veggie hot dog first time around. I checked with the server when it was served, pleased I did as she had got it wrong on the 2 attempt and finished up with a meat chilli dog instead. I generally don’t leave bad reviews but the food was that poor I really wouldn’t want anyone else to suffer. McDonald’s is genuinely streets ahead, and that’s saying something. Root beer was good (imported) and theming was well done.

Firstly, the service from Ashley the supervisor was superb. Warm, friendly and she kept a constant, yet discreet eye on our table and needs. The food was superb, I had the New York hot dog and it was a generous size and really tasted superb, well done the chef. My colleagues had further variety of hot dogs, but one had a burger that was so large, I thought it would be impossible to finish. Staggeringly, he did and commented on how delicious it was. I'm definitely going back and this time, returning with my two teenage kids, who will love the food, the size of the portions, but also it's decor and ambience, which is excellently executed theme wise. The restaurant was spotless, bathrooms immaculate and overall experience superb. Once again well done on a great experience.
