The best restaurants in Basingstoke and Deane South East

We ordered food through for delivery that didn't arrive. The phone number doesn't work so you can't contact any one. Awful service. Avoid. We certainly wouldn't use again. 1-3 days for a refund too, so unfair.

Went to costa drive thru, service was fast than other many stores, team was very polite and friendly, Asian man was very friendly not sure if he is the manager loved it.

Delivery was super slow it said it was on its way and still took about 20mins,, The food we had was awful,, the chicken was overcooked the prawns in batter was almost rubber and the sauce tasted soapy,, the duck rolls was nice I will admit that but overall the food was absolutely shocking,, we won't be ordering again,, stay away and visit the number 8 Chinese just up the road,, Sorry to leave a negative review,, but my experience was shocking,, it's safe to say I'd rather cook next time

Delivery quick, order disappointing. Not sure how hard it is to not miss things, sorriest burger I ever seen. BK do better.

The staff resolved my issue. ( missing items ) The staff in dealing with my issue was quickly resolved. (The Mangeress was very polite and dealt with the situation very well. ) Service from staff was very good and food was very enjoyable. Thank you, Paul.

Love fish and chips and Chinese. Can fail sometimes but no place is perfect. Wish they opened on a Tuesday and closed on a Monday

I arrived at 1135, too early for lunch, served from 12 noon, and too late for breakfast, finished serving at 1130. I asked if an item off the breakfast menu could be made up but told 'no' and had to have a cake, not great after a 60 mile bike ride to get to this cafe. The attitude and approach of staff is all wrong and characteristic of job worthiness. I won't be returning and will go to much better cafes in the vicinity that put 'people first'.

Many cooffe shops in festival place but here is different because staff is more welcoming and smiling face :) Thats why I like this place more then others.

the manager with dark long hair is rude, im not sure if she liked her job or hates her staff, the staff are lovely but the manager ruins it.

I’m a loyal KFC fan and regularly recommend it for family gatherings and special occasions. As it’s the school holidays, I decided to treat my family with bargain buckets and chicken wings for our Sunday evening get-together. Wanting to avoid cold, delayed delivery, we went directly to the KFC at the Town Centre to get our food fresh and hot. To my surprise, the order was ready within 1 minute and 20 seconds of placing it. While I was initially impressed by the speed, I couldn’t help but question how such a large order – including fried chicken, wings, and chips – could possibly be prepared and packed in such a short time. Once we got home (just 5–6 minutes later), the disappointment hit us hard. The chicken pieces were extremely dry, as though they had been sitting out for hours. The wings were also dried out, with the coating falling off most of them. The chips tasted stale and had clearly not been freshly made. It was honestly horrifying, and I felt embarrassed in front of my family, especially as I’m always the one recommending KFC. I usually get my KFC from the Leisure Park branch, which has never let me down – the food is always fresh and hot. But this experience at the Town Centre branch was shocking. Even though it was only 8pm and the store closes at 11pm, the staff seemed completely uninterested in customer service. There were at least three employees present, yet they were more focused on their closing procedures than ensuring quality food was served – with three whole hours left until closing time! To KFC management: I hope you realise that polite responses to complaints on Google won’t help your business if the actual issues aren’t addressed. I’ve heard negative feedback about this location before, and now I’ve experienced it myself. With new chicken shops opening in Basingstoke, and one in particular near the town centre gaining popularity quickly, KFC cannot afford to lose loyal customers. If you don’t take care of us, rest assured – we’ll take our business elsewhere.

Terrible service went for birthday celebration all you can eat no milk for my tea waited 1/2 hr for milk tea got cold went to get some food and there wasn't no plates, when plates eventually arrived there was no food so had to wait again for some to be cooked, very limited choice . Desert consisted of some mixed fruit in syrup but only the juice left but plenty of ice cream. This meal costs 19 95 per person, the place was so disorganized I was very disappointed will never go again.

Total mess of a shop. Disgraceful garden centre. As is the attitude if the staff. Products priced wrongly is the customers problem not the staff according to Wendy at the till

Order placed one kebab with garlic sauce and spicy wings. What a mistake the kebab was greasy and it was served with tartare sauce not garlic mayo what the hell were they thinking. The wings were cooked beyond edible was like chewing deep fried cardboard. They were either last nights food reheated or just straight up over cooked. The only part of the meal that was any good was the canned drinks and that is cause the chef could never cock up a canned drink. It’s a shame cause only a year ago the food was divine. Recommend they sack the chef cause he or they clearly have no idea how to cook. Both meals chucked away. Idea of how bad this was our dog eats anything even he would not eat this food.
