Plush Lounge Bar in Basingstoke and Deane

Someone I know was spiked last weekend and the workers acted like it’s a regular thing. Keep an eye on your drinks or anyone who might be getting too close. Also make sure you look out for each other. You shouldn’t have too but Plush seem to let this sort of thing happen without a care in the world.

last night I went out dancing with my friend and we went to plush. Just before closing time, I went to the bar by myself asking for a glass of water. some black security guard twisted my arms and took me out of the club like I was a kind of criminal !!! I just asked for water! how can you treat a woman like that!!! total lack of respect!! Untrained cattle! I'm definitely far from writing complaints, but it was too much… I do not recommend this place to anyone! Disgusting!!!!

The night we went was good me and my girlfriend was enjoying our night until another girl started becoming homophonic. And threw her drink at me. I was the one that got grab by bouncers way to hard and being sober as they thought I threw my drink(when I was soaked) they didn’t let me back in and ensure the other girl was going to be kick out. She wasn’t as my brother was there the whole night. I have bruises on both arms because of this and the bouncers need to learn not to grab women this hard.

Place has gone downhill. Peoples drinks are spiked week in and out. People getting assaulted week in and out. Shocking !

My sister was assaulted in the club & we tried to leave straight away- at which point bouncers held us back and let the girl who punched her run off. Not once did they show any care or offer first aid until I had to shout outside, at which point I was told first aid was coming. All that came was a bit of blue roll to mop up the blood.

Good place for night out, it's nice to see that plush started to bring in some known names to perform there. We need more of this in Basingstoke.

Out for the evening with colleagues and visited Plush last. We were expecting the other room to be open and staff mentioned it would open soon but never did. Staff were very friendly though

It's really... Okay. You're smashed by this stage; I don't think it matters to you that the decor's alright, the crowd up for it, and the music is lively. She's air-hostess good-looking and you're some guy who writes reviews on Google. Dreams aren't decimated here. ****

Just avoid, the floor is discussing, the so called VIP selection isn't VIP at all... Drinks are very expensive and poor quality. I wouldn't be surprised if drinks are watered down here. Bouncers and bar staff were amazing but I think it just needs a bit of a tidy up.

I think this place is great! Was here on 03/03/23 after midnight and the vibe is amazing! Good size dance floor around di point and lots of bars, so easy to get a drink. DJ on that night was perfect! Hot and bouncy tunes, lots of happy positive ppl mostly young guys and women. Very good night out here 🥳🤩

Is a good night out Drink prices can be expensive Upstairs is good for a change of music

An easy Night Bar with Karaoke at it's beginning, followed by disco music, when the bar gets crowded, not bad!

Good night out after visiting local bars and not wanting to end the night

The most amazing Lounge Bar in the UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 Absolutely loved every bit of it.... The vast spaces on 2 floors, great organization & atmosphere.... Fantastic DJ resident that night and even more astonishing Cocktails 🍹🍸 !!! That’s a MUST TRY.... Not to even mention their new ongoing promotion Buy 1 Get 1 Free !! Love it.... Cheers 🥂

Amazing place we booked a party of more than 50 people for my company. It was nice to see finally all the remote workers in one place. The music was amazing. The welcome amazing we all felt like we were VIPs we were escorted to our private table. We even had our own entertainment a magician included in the package offer which wowed our group. The DJ even played a few requested songs for our group. We all felt very special at Plush an unforgettable night out. We will definitely book a large table for our xmas company party. So you all better book fast or we will get there first.

New DJs and a new music vibe now in Plush I had been there a few months ago. Now back for more super songs you can really dance too and even sing along. Now a younger crowd is coming in finally. Even though Plush is on two levels its much much fuller than other places. The dance floors are great. I like the fact that there is alot of security. So our party felt very secure. Which I did not find going to other places in Basingdtoke. This is from now on my favourite place to be on a weekend.

Wow, you must already be drunk to end up here. Filthy, sticky dance floor, watered down drinks, same music and faces every weekend, smelly and disgusting and the toilets need more than a bleach they need to be condemned. Enter at your peril because "Plush" it ain't - more like "please flush"!

The worst place, my boyfriend had the door kicked in while on the toilet by the attendant demanding to know if he was a man or women. The manager was useless and basically said they cant do anything, I'll never go even if I was paid

So I went there last night with a group of mates one of them is a trans man and my trans mate was having peaceful nnumber two when one the security grauds who's is over 6ft, and built-like-a-brick-broke he the decided to try break down the door of the toilet stall he was in to demand if he's male or female, and then we us a group tried to complain to the manager she did nothing about it despite complaining to her and even worse she defended the guys actions. So this terrible establishment really disserves zero stars. So it will be losing me and quite more people as Punters as I say to boycott this place due to thier transpohbic attitude. I really do hope this place gets shut down for good

Don't use this place to much but what wonderful service by jade at the bar, also would like to point out that when my drink was spilt at the top bar, it was sorted by a fella that I don't know his name but would like to thank him. Also would like to thank the the lady manager for sorting it out. My love and best wishes to you all

0 !! Was there on Saturday night. Believe that my drink was spiked, security guard very helpfull.. however can not say the same about the manager and the bar staff. Security guard offered to drug test it or get it changed, the manager refused, she didn’t care. (I had taken maybe 2 sips of my drink). So very clearly not just trying to get a free drink. If you want to feel safe whilst being out AVOID AT ALL COSTS !

Been coming here for years could do with updating but a nice var and plenty of drink to choose from

To be honest with you is not many places at Basingstoke where you can go out on Friday or Saturday night‼️ Plush is one of just five unfortunately. I really love the staff working ower there on different positions. SJ the big man ho is always friendly welcoming people with his smile on face is one of the best person from all of this amazing team. Every one knows about ho I'm writing right now. Thank you SJ for everything what you are doing when you're on the duty ‼️are youyouare on your duty ‼️ Tonight I wasn't allowed to go inside because of the dress code, what is maybe right thing. I know it the boys from security staff have to do what they are told by the owner or menager. But at this time with all that LBGD and being tolerance to everyone looking not right. Maybe I'm wrong. But everyone has right to his own opinions !!!

You know you've had too much to drink when you end up here! Such a dive, but popular due to limited choice in Basingstoke.

Table service could have been better, one waitress in particular seemed to be holding glasses near the rim of the glass (the area you put your mouth)! The floor is sticky! But it was the only place with empty tables earlier in the evening so we stayed for a couple of drinks

Typical of a venue that doesn't need to try. Untidy/scruffy staff, old and scratched plastic glasses, no glass collection, filthy smoking area with no ashtrays, strange music choices, pathetic tables in seating cubicles.

Toilets are disgusting - bouncers miserable. Drinks watered down and not good value for money.

Great music and atmosphere once things get into full flow. Decent spacing as well, so you certainly don't feel cramped. Affordable drinks and great blend of music. Great for a night out.

It's a decent place with 2 floors and 2 DJs playing different genres of music. The service is good, the service providers are on point and the music is awesome. I also loved the mature crowd as well

Disabled user... Disabled toilet: out of order. Told to use Gents toilets: Light not working in cubicle AND lock not working. Should not be open in my opinion....
