Been out of stock of an item I want all week. Hardley any correct products with correct shelf labels and some missing completly, which apart from being illegal is very frustrating. Not one till open

Always a good place to find what you need. Large pictures and mirrors to frozen food. There are cleaning products and pet food. It has everything needed and items you did not know you needed. The shelves are well stocked and range of products changes.

Pleasant staff. Other Range branches in Hampshire that will remain unnamed can take a leap out of Basingstoke's book. Good customer service and pleasent staff.

Has nearly everything I need or want under one roof. It is value for the money and items are pretty good. Has Homebase garden centre and Iceland frozen food section as well. Large car park as well. All in all excellent 👌 👍

A brilliant shop, always look out for the Range stores, would like to see more about. Well worth a visit, good for gifts especially at Christmas.

I ordered 2 items online and 24 hrs later got message to say that they were out of stock and asked if I wanted to wait or receive a refund I asked for refund but 2 was later still don't have it so now sent email and they have said that they will issue a refund to my account to take a further 3-5 days totally unacceptable don't understand why itsxeasy to pay instantly but refund takes so many days unacceptable

A bit disappointed with my last visit to The Range—I couldn’t find the item I was looking for, even though it’s something quite common for everyday use. That said, the store is generally well-stocked and the staff are friendly.

Huge shop and a smaller plants section

As a company, I like 'The Range'. It's one of them shops you can pick up the odd bargain, non serious DIY bits and sensibly priced garden stuff. THIS store however, is just frustrating as hell! 90% of the products have no price tag on them so you spend most your time on their janky website just to find a price! And the items that DO have a price tag are rarely the correct tickets for the item! You then make your way to pay, to end up in a long queue as you watch one colleague battle their way through serving everyone whilst 3 or 4 other colleagues do a fine job of making themselves look busy at the 'customer service' desk before clearing off! 😂 This isn't a one off or on a 'busy day' experience, it happens regularly. Also, if you have a pushchair or someone in a wheelchair, don't bother. As a previous review has stated, pallets and boxes everywhere! You'll struggle to get around. Plenty of parking with wide bays so that's a positive 👍

Great shop to pick up bargains.

I am sick and tired of going into the Range and items either have no price on or you get a surprise at the till that the price that is displayed with the item is either incorrect or the offer has ended and the colleagues have not done their job and removed the SELS. The Range is now displaying SKU numbers and dates for offers on the SEL so they will not honour the price that they are displaying items for. Absolutely shocking retail experience!

Total mess of a shop. Disgraceful garden centre. As is the attitude if the staff. Products priced wrongly is the customers problem not the staff according to Wendy at the till

The only place you can grab a can of paint, washing up liquid and a some frozen wings. The queue to pay leaves much to be desired and the tannoy announcements by staff requesting each others support are way too passive aggressive. Other than that, good parking and reasonable prices

Plenty of parking, huge range of products, store can feel a little disorganised at times (changing between seasons) but staff are helpful when you can find one

As always, it is easy to park here. The staff generally know where items are, which makes it quick to find what you need

Great store for bits of everything from home to food with there being an Iceland in here too. The aisles are a little narrow but otherwise a good shop

The stink from the toilets us overpowering! Went to change the grandson but left as the smell was so bad. How can the store tolerate thus yet alone think that it is acceptable to offer such dreadful facilities.

I love the range, it has so much for every occasion and is reasonably priced. My score is less as the shop is a mess and it's difficult to find a staff member to help you find things. When you do find one they are lovely

Love this shop. Annoying that prices are never out but I just use the app to look up prices if I can't find one.

Went in to buy paint pads, unfortunately they don't sell them but managed to pick up a bargain or 2 , paint pots ,brushes .

When stocking your shelves put the correct items in the correct place !! Nothing where it should be and was charged £6 more than it said on the shelf as all the boards were in the wrong place , how are we to know this ? If the odd one is moved I could understand but the whole shelf was stacked with them.

I love this place, it’s always utter chaos as there are always leaving trolley’s and pallets everywhere. The staff are great, if you want something, just ask and they’ll check to see if they’ve got it. You will trip and stumble around the vastness of the place and the queue for the tills can be phenomenal at busy times. If you enjoy a different type of cluttered shopping experience, this is the place for you.

I spent an hour filling my trolley, having double the range took love to shop and oneforall gift vouchers.I was very disappointed when the staff didn't know how to accept them. I left my shopping, disgusted with the service. Do not try and spend vouchers at the range.

Couldn't find velvet red ready made curtains and other things I wanted.

Very disappointed at the state of the place. Walkways cluttered making it tricky pushing a wheelchair, many shelf edge price labels missing and to top it off the garden centre is a disgrace. The coffee shop is extremely poor too. Over 35 minutes for 2 hot chocolates, 2 muffins, a toasted teacake and a glass of water to arrive at our table is simply not good enough.

All the products don't have the price, and when you go to pay, you will have a pricey surprise.

Good range of products and decent car park, however staff on tills could do with training, in particular the guy on the tannoy on Sunday who made announcements every 2 minutes calling individual staff members rather than all till trained staff. The girl who rang us through was lovely but seemed overwhelmed and accidentally cancelled our transaction before we could pay and had to put everything through individually.

Now dog friendly. Note a lot of items not priced or on the wrong shelf with a price on the shelf.

As expected, big shop with lots of stuff!

Not easy to get around with buggy or on crutches. Stock left in the middle of aisles. Only getting 3 stars because most of things I need are at the end of the aisle

Helpful staff, great prices on some things

Whole store often very messy when putting out deliveries. Christmas section too big in September. Food warehouse section almost empty.

Staff service for Click'n'collect is excellent, very prompt - absolutely would recommend doing c'n'c if traveling any distance, to avoid wasting time searching for "in stock" items which are sold out; there are currently significant issues with online reporting of in-store stock. Nice little café and Iceland products area .

Was easy to get to on the bus, lots of stock and choice. A bit of everything

Said in stock online so I made a special trip - but out of stock. Staff member was very helpful but said sometimes these things are out of synch.

Most things under one roof and competitive prices. Fair refund policy as well.

It’s ok but you just know the majority of the furniture will break

Such helpful staff we couldn't find bunting so we asked a lady who saw I was walking with a crutch so she went down the other end of the store bought us back a few options for us to choose from then she took back what we didn't want and returned with a further 4 packs we needed, brilliant.

Big store, with massive parking. Wide range of goods with reasonable prices. And I did find a light fitting that I could not find anywhere else. Lack off staff though, but if you track one down they are helpful

Trying to return an item to The Range marketplace but have no response can't get through on the phone, need to return as paid with Klarna as they will still charge me, unable to take to store. Really frustrated with getting nowhere.

My I suggest you put your No dogs allowed sign on the outside of the door and not halfway into the building. I looked around on the outside door and could see no sign, so I went inside. I asked for assistance from an employee who said nothing about no dogs allowed. Only when I got to the cashier I was met by an unfriendly employee who had to take it upon himself to inform me in a very condicending manner, which was quite embarassing for me. I'll be sure to go elsewhere.

Confusing layout whe compared to other range stores.

Great size shop, love that they have a big pets section as well as an Iceland to get your shopping done!

Went for a look and came away with a trolley load. Loads of stuff, literally did not realise what a great "range" they have. Needs a few more trolleys but that didn't detract from my shop.

Simply a very useful shop with a wide range of products at competitive prices. You may get everything on your list and more all in one shop.

Be careful when you buy soemthing from here. They seem to think their in house policy is above customers statutory rights. 😂 On the plus side, a call to customer services and it’s all sorted but a total waste of my time.

It's all on one level nice and big Only thing is it's very narrow lanes as its got too much stuff .... needed more staff it was very very busy

A bigger store, visited at a quieter, mi- week time means better, more relaxed shopping with all the usual variety, everything that you might need and all you could possibly want, allnunder a bright shiny roof, just off the by- pass, next to Dunelm. Better than Aldershot because that's too small.

Dreadful Service. Checked on-line and they had stock, arrived to be told they hadn't. Yet Click & Collect was showing stock. Resorted to using Click & Collect, received confirmation that Items were ready for collection. Arrived at Store and ended up waiting 25 mins for someone from Click & Collect. Seriously - Zero Customer Service.

Terrible experience at the till when paying. Customer assistant with no name badge, older lady with tattoos. Name said Kelly on my receipt though. Dreadful attitude. Tutting and sighing to the lady being served in front of me and refusing to pick my items up to scan as I hadn’t put them directly in front of her. Clearly in the wrong job. A lot of items not priced on the shelf. Has put me off going back.

You can get every think you need there

Cafe area itself filthy looking. Stained and ripped seats. Floor very dirty. Was going to eat but in the end only had a coffee as was thirsty and food in the cabinet looked unappealing and the state of cafe put me off. They sell Costa coffee which is a plus but I wouldn’t be happy to be associated with the cafe in that state if I were Costa. Staff were polite enough.

This is a big store with a cafe & outdoor gardening area too. Arts, crafts, home decor, toys, kitchenware, and more. Fatal as you always end up buying more than you intend to!!

As usual I was over charged by nearly £4 I had to go back In, I was told the item was on the wrong price hanger but I can't have it for that price i can have a refund or take it for what it went through. I chose the refund. The lady who served me was absolutely lovely. But the prices are always wrong I get fed up with it especially when they won't honour it I then have to wait for the money to go back into my account.

A great store with a great "range" of goods and helpful, pleasant staff.

Ordered online for click and collect. Received email to say order ready to collect from store. Lady on service desk asked if I ordered online or on website. I said "on website, email received to collect and here is QR code". She said no you don't understand and we went through same conversation 3 times and finally said "never mind, you don't understand" and went to get someone else to deal with it. Next person scanned QR code and got my items. Two members of staff - one quite rude and condescending and the other very pleasant and knows what she's doing.

You could easily spend a couple of hours in this store with its extensive stock. The household and pet sections are great. Theres enty of craft items pmus diy. The staff are always willing to help out with checking stock for you or pointing in the right direction. Prices are very competative. The freezer section often shows me foods I haven't come across and is useful I'm sure for those who used to shop at Iceland before closure in Chineham. I quite enjoy the garden section in warmer months.

Nothing special. It is cheaper rather inexpensive.

Served by the loveliest lady. Unfortunately out of the 3 things we wanted they only had 1. It seems the glass tumblers that I purchased a year or so ago are no longer stocked. There seemed to be an unbelievable amount of staff on shift. Which to their credit, the store did look tidy and well stocked.

Products are priced wrongly.Some are not even priced at all.Stuff is not very hepful and arrogant when you are asking why is the product is not priced correctly?Not even apologising for their mistakes.

You generally can find what you need in this huge store and it’s well maintained by the staff, unlike some shops. A zillion space car park, so easy to park!
