Caffe Nero in Basingstoke and Deane

Many cooffe shops in festival place but here is different because staff is more welcoming and smiling face :) Thats why I like this place more then others.

Popped in here today. It was pretty quiet. 2 staff behind the counter. One serving, the other......unsure. Nothing, apparently. As a result with just 2 customers in front of me I waited over 10 minutes to be served. Lack of focus on customer service - disappointing. Will not be visiting again, any time soon.

The staff are varied. Sometimes they are cheery and talkative, other times you end up with a grunt. The coffee is very nice though, and I’ve recently been converted from Starbucks and don’t intend on going back. Download the app to get lots of freebies. One request though, any chance you can clean the meter spoons, as the coffee stained ones are very off putting.

Baristas were too busy chatting to one another to bother with serving customers and had less than professional attitudes towards the customers

One man as barista working his socks off with no help from other staff. Tray was so filthy it made me question the cleanliness of everything else.

Excellent strong Americanos on offer here compared with some of the other chains. Usual quick service. Recommend.

El servicio era muy bueno, pero el café estaba un poco gastada y podía hacer con un lavado de cara. No hay mucho que decir sobre la comida y el café, aparte de que es la misma selección de aperitivos como otros Neros y el café era tan bueno como siempre. Está situado en un extremo de Festival Place y no es tan prominente como en otros bares y cafeterías de la ciudad.

As always, the coffee here is excellent. Of all the high street coffee chains, this is my favourite. In my opinion, the coffee here is the nicest, and smoothest of the major chains.
