When we arrived it was very busy, the weather wasn't great so everyone inside. We ordered panninis, soup amd sandwiches. The service was excellent, very friendly staff and the food was lovely. We will definitely be returning again soon.

Popped in on Sunday for my best friends birthday. We had coffee and cake which was delicious. Quick and friendly service, plenty of places to sit both inside and out. Will be back

Called in on our way down to Portsmouth. I can’t understand why other reviews have not given this wonderful cafe 5* reviews! It was in a beautiful rural setting on a farm and a brewery. The food was amazing and the service excellent!

We used to love this place but recently it has gone downhill, possibly a victim of more people finding out about it. Last time we visited we asked for tea, coffee and the soup. We were told there was at least a half hour wait for food (to fill two bowls of soup…ok). Ok, we said, we’ll just have tea, coffee and two of those sausage rolls in the counter there, and don’t worry about warming them up. Nope - would still be a half hour wait to take two cold sausage rolls and put them on a plate. Ok, third time lucky - we’ll just have tea, coffee and two slices of that cake over there. Sorry, no, we’ve just sold the last two pieces of that cake. We walked out. What I don’t understand is, they have SO MANY members of staff flitting about - why is the service so bad?

Popped in for a quick lunch and it didn't disappoint! Very busy when we turned up and no tables available, so why we waited for one to become free we got beautiful cakes to take away and put back in the car. We managed to get seated and me and my son both had paninis which were lovely, especially my chilli and cheese one! We will definitely be returning

The best breakfast spot, I’m really shocked there’s any other reviews than brilliant here. Staff are always friendly. Breakfast is always delicious and good quality. Would highly recommend a visit. It’s also dog friendly which we love.

Went here for breakfast at 9am on a Sunday morning and it was empty, however, by 10 am there was a queue out the door and the three staff members looked very stressed. Staff were pleasant but very disorganised. I feel there should be some training on how to work efficiently. After finishing our meal we ordered more coffees. Common sense would be to clear away plates/cutlery/cups before the extra coffees arrived (we were a table of six) We had to stack our plates etc and move them to a free table. Staff walked past this many times and even when a couple sat at the table and had their meals delivered the staff still didn't clear our plates away!! We watched in disbelief as numerous times staff would walk past tables with empty trays but not think to clear/prepare them for others. The noise level was intense and the atmosphere was very chaotic. The food was pretty good although the bacon was overcooked and dry.

A bit disappointed this time. We’ve been many times to visit this cafe, we could never complain but this time, sadly, it was not great…. I had a coronation chicken sandwich which was good however my daughter’s bacon and Brie panini was very thin (1 rasher!) and burnt... She did not complain as we would have had to wait (there was already a few customers waiting) and she was hungry - but clearly the panini had been forgotten. Also there was a lot of cars coming and going due to a festival on site so driving and parking was a bit tricky.

Pleasant cafe in the countryside. A pleasant cafe with a range of breakfast, cake and lunch options available. Sandwich was tasty and the tea was hot. Service was friendly and quick

If you are happy to wait for ages, clear and clean your own table, be told at 11.20am that breakfsat stops at 11.30 so can't order breakfast/brunch and then be told that lunch is served from 12 but you can't pre-order before 12 - then this is the place for you. Untrained staff, poor customer service, dogs on tables?!? - as previous reviewer has said, place has gone downhill and is now a joke.

Have been here before and had great food and experience but that wasn’t our experience this time. Queued up for ten to fifteen minutes only to be told that at that moment in time the chef had decided not to serve any more breakfasts. Don’t blame the staff as they were clearly under staffed and over whelmed

Wonderful stop off, scone was beautiful, cakes were superb (loads of choice and very tasty), coffee was great, atmosphere fabulous. Couldn't fault it. The chef (despite being very busy) even made me some clotted cream from scratch for my scone! First class service and quality. Shop is wonderful too, lots of interesting bits and pieces along with the staples.

Visited there today. No more than 8 people in there. They couldn’t do any more breakfasts said they were to busy. 3 people working. Need to sort this what a joke.

The cafe were pretty busy and stock was fairly low, good for them but not for the customers sadly. Quite a few honesty cafes I visit seem to run out of sausage rolls so a big opportunity there. Rated lower than I would have due to the dirty chipped glass I was given, not good enough I’m afraid!

To be fair we did not expect to find a cafe there but what a lovely place!! However it was a bit challenging to find a place to park. Food is good: panini, sandwiches, soup are available as well as a good selection of cakes. I ordered a panini which unfortunately was a bit poor. There was a single slice of ham with some cheese, which I thought was a bit poor considering I paid £8! It was served with crisps and salad but still it was a bit thin. Tea was £2.20, coffees were about £2.90 We will go back again, hopefully the panini will be a bit thicker!

Visiting from abroad, was delighted by the professional service. The Mocca we ordered passed the spoon test. Was so smooth Id let my daughter date it. Ive got nearly a decade in the coffee industry, hands down the best one ive ever tasted. Eggs Royale, perfect eggs. Made me write this review I was so delighted. Only thing I can suggest is that they get a salt and pepper shaker! -Rick

Has to be the worst supermarket in Basingstoke. So far this year, overcharged on roll back prices with full price several times over several weeks. Overcharged with their buy 2 for the price of 3 scam and got charged full price for all 3 items. Staff on customer service desk aware of this for over a week and nothing done. Purchased a couple of items, 1 of them a canned goods just over 4 months out of date. Not the first time I've seen out of date produce on display. The last 3 weeks on the trot, absolutely rotten veg on display. Complained to head office...not interested. Apparently the manager says there are no issues so nothing to pursue. Asda as a supposed supermarket is a local disgrace and they wonder why their market share is dropping. Did I mention the lack of staffed checkouts at busy times...

We stayed in room 9 and was blown away by the size of the room! It was so clean and lots of complimentary drinks. Quality toiletries, very eco friendly and huge comfortable bed. Every part of our overnight stay was lovely. The scenery, the food, all the staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast just perfect!
