The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

We were excited to try the food here because of the extensive vegan options. The battered sausage was really nice! However, the rest of the food unfortunately was quite bland, especially the chips even after I loaded them with salt and vinegar. The battered banana blossom didn’t really taste like much. And the portions were sickeningly large—we couldn’t finish one portion between the two of us. Appreciate the variety though!

Went here as a group of 6 4 adults and 2 children - awesome meal in a relaxed setting - good value for money

Fresh seafood and great service! If you like oysters, you definitely must try them. They're affordable.

Tuve un tiempo increíble en la casa club el domingo pasado. Fui por la carne que Wellington era excepcional. Tanto sabor con las patatas asadas que eran encantadoras y crujientes con un poco de verdura en el lado que era la cantidad justa y una cosa que me gustaría mencionar la camarera / camarera Laura servicio increíble que era muy dulce, realmente excepcional y dio un servicio tan brillante. ¡Bien hecho y sigue destrozándolo! ¡Volveremos para otro asado al 100%!

Tried one last time after a couple of disappointing visits. Chips were dark and soggy and had been cooked for a g e s, the left and fish was cooked freshly but not left to drain. Ate it in the car outside by which time the chips were limp and the fish was stodgy. Please come back the people who ran it before, they were excellent. I could not have eaten more than a few mouthfulls even if I was starving. They have not improved with time.

I ventured up to the Harbour last night for some dinner and we found ourselves at the London and Paris. The food was lovely. The service was great. I had the beef bugging on and it was absolutely delicious. I will be coming back for some more delicious food and for a great atmosphere.

This cafe was next to my hotel, so I dropped in for a coffee and baguette before setting off to hike round to Ryde. Wish I'd discovered it sooner, as it was the best cafe I came across during my stay in Sandown. I had an egg-and-tomato baguette, which they knocked up very quickly (they are not ready made), and it was lush. I love eggs and always have them in a baguette, and I rate this the best egg baguette I had all summer. They'd done the eggs to perfection--so instead of the flat pale look slices of boiled egg usually have, these had the granular golden surface of good-quality eggs cooked very recently. I had a chat to the jolly, friendly ladies in this cafe, including a lovely Welsh one who told me everything is fresh. You wouldn't get a slice of yesterday's boiled egg in Planet Janet, that's for sure. And with lovely bread and fresh tomato slices too, it was just the perfect baguette experience, which is not often come by. That and a good coffee in this charming sea-front corner cafe set me up for my hike with a smile on my face.

This is a great local fish & chips shop, fast efficient food with friendly staff, prices are increasing but still better than many other fish & chip shops. You call telephone your order in so even faster collection. Good range of items on the menu. Highly recommend that you try it.

Very large portions of cod great chips and good price can't fault them best value in margate cash only

We really enjoyed an anniversary meal here, food, drink and ambience was very good and the service from Kelly was excellent! Our dog was well looked after too which made it great and we will definitely be returning soon 🍸😁

Hot and reasonable value as fish seems mega expensive these days. However, the cod and plaice we had were like minows and the batter far outweighed any fish. Very greasy too.

Popped in Saturday afternoon for a cheeky bag of chips to keep us going till dinner, my wife returned with the worst portion of chips I have ever seen, luke warm and stale tasting, I returned said portion to chip shop uneaten, we will cross this chip shop off as a future go to, horrible

First visit to this chippy and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of both fish and chips. Lovely crispy batter and a nice texture to the cod. The chips were nicely cooked and tasted great. My food was cooked to order and it was worth the wait. Nice service too.
