I am blessed that the sea breeze is within a stones throw of my house. The chips strike the right balance on all fronts. I am staring down the barrel of type 2 diabetes as I cannot resist the siren call of this establishment.

Sea Breeze is my favorite fish and chip shop in Brighton. I find that most fish and chip shops tends to vary so much from one visit to the next, but Sea Breeze seems consistently good. Only had the fish and chips, so can't comment on anything else, but a lot nicer than almost every chip shop I've tried in Brighton.

Quite disappointing. I called ahead to order, to try and save time. It wasn’t busy when I arrived but still waited half an hour for a small order. The fish cake was placed in one of the chips without asking, I then let the staff know it was for a vegan person, so please not to combine with fish. I ordered gherkin and asked if it was fried and was told it was, when it came it was just a warmed up pickle, strange. Chips and fish cake were ok.

A group of us were out and about sampling the pubs of Hanover and popped in here for a snack to soak up some alcohol. I had the sausage and chips which were freshly cooked and really delicious for only £4.

Really awful fish and chips. Cod had been flattened and bearly resembled a peice of fish. The batter was thick andc undercooked . The chips were luke warm. Unable to eat much of this terrible food

we chanced upon this place ,simply because we were turned down by half a dozen other places sighting no reservation. What a delight! The people here are friendly and helped us choose through a situation where we find ourselves often,' spoilt for choices'. Loved the gramigna pasta with spring onion in plum sauce and the parmesan to top it.

I came here with my girlfriend for a roast after reading excellent reviews on trip advisor. Unfortunately i did not enjoy my meal as much as i hoped i would. The coli flower cheese was a serious let down - i am unsure whether it was under-cooked on purpose or by a mistake but it was not pleasant. In addition the cashew cheese was (in my opinion) a poor substitute for normal cheese - maybe the option of both should be provided. Despite these points raised above; my vegetarian girlfriend went for the filo pastry which she absolutely LOVED. I am afraid i will not be eating here again however i am confident to say that my girlfriend will be.

I visited here with the same group of friends around a year ago for a Sunday roast, and it was great. We decided to come back for our Christmas meal but it was a real disappointment. If I didn't know how good this place CAN be, it'd be getting two stars. Many people in our party had the lamb, which was totally raw. They asked for it to be cooked again but this didn't make much difference. I went for a vegan option - this was pretty bland and tasted re-heated rather than fresh. The current menus only seem to have meat or vegan dishes - there is no vegetarian option, which is a real shame. There were 5 vegetarians at our meal but we all had to have the vegan dishes. In addition, even though we booked weeks in advance and tried to pre-order our vegetarian food, they had run out of the dish that most of us wanted. They also forgot to put Yorkshires with our meal. Aside from the poor mains (and service was slow, but I can forgive that because it was a Sunday), the trimmings were generally good and the cashew nut cauliflower cheese got some major praise. I know this place has been good in the past, but I really don't know if I'd go back given how hit and miss it seems to be.

I ordered regular fish and chips with salt and vinegar. The order arrived not salted or with vinegar added, with a portion size that's kind of laughable for the £7.50 price. However, the chips and fish were cooked very well and was of good quality! Really good quality! So perhaps if you go here order the large.

Nice food the cue is always out the door even before Corona so it's a little bit of a wait and be4 lockdown and Corona especially in the summer you can't even move in there all squashed up agence each other but the wait is worth it as there food is lovely amazing makes your mouth water it's just such a small place if they had a bigger place it would of been perfect and I would of given the whole five stars

This is one of the best fish and chip takeaways in Brighton and I've tried most of them. Decent sized portions and reasonably priced. If your on a pub crawl in Hanover area this is a must pit stop

Excellent. They always cook Fish and Chips in clean oil which means fantastic taste and not greasy. I had started to lose faith in the greasy limited taste most UK fish and chip shops serve up but this place fully restored my faith. Been using for three years and never disappointed.

Absolutely fabulous. The fish and chips in this place are always freshly cooked in clean oil with generous portions and tasting wonderful. I had started to give up on fish and chip shops in UK serving greasy food with limited taste. Sea Breeze has repaired my faith. I’ve been a regular for 3 years and it has never disappointed. Honestly, just try the fish and chips once and you’ll be a regular customer like me.

Consistently very nice chips and lovely staff. Killer houmous kebab. Unfortunately, the regular fish is tiny (all batter, little fish). This is not a one off, but ongoing issue. Scrimping over a few extra ounces us just daft and will not endear you with customers.

Hadn't been to Sea breeze for years as we moved and always enjoyed their fish and chips with the kids. Now they deliver we had them last night and they were better then we remember.good portions will definitely use again.

So much better than the fish and chips in Oxford, where we recently moved from! Very good batter (not too stodgy or soggy and not like amour plating either) and tasty chips. Kids cod bites also went down well.

After finding my prior fish and chips shop favourites closed myself and my partner found myself driving past and seeing the queues, prompted me to try here; I was certainly surprised, nice neat decor, also everything is cooked from fresh and I honestly thought that they had put both large chips we ordered together as a single as the portion was so large, not only that as one of the pieces of fish wasn't large enough in their eyes they gave us a second piece for free. I can't recommend the service and the standard of the food enough. Well done...I shall come back

if you care about the environment, do not eat there, THEY USE PALM OIL! this is completely unnecessary, there are so many other alternative.

The fish tasted of chicken it must have been fried in the same fat, it was wet,soggy and a dark color,absolutely vile.
