Have been using Seahorse for years but have to say really gone down hill,usually best fish chips around but last couple of time not great, chips are small bits and hard batter on fish and sausages soggy not good at all always seem rushed perhaps get extra staff and up you game very disappointed.

Had lovely takeaway from there. The fish and chips were really good and that's now the 4th excellent chippy in Hove that we been too. Good value too

We order from Seahorse regularly. Always pipping hot excellent fish a chips and very reasonable price wise Friendly professional family run restaurant I cannot recommend highly enough

Have been coming here for several years and always make the effort even though I have several others nearer my house. Always has perfect hand cut chips! I no longer eat fish but they have great pea and pineapple fritters!

The Seahorse is always a great bet for Fish and Chips. Always tastes fresh, clean oil and batter, and great value for money for a meal. Good sized portions too.

Always as a family treat have a home delivery of fish and chips from this place Well cooked very smiley delivery man and the taste is superb

After trying most chippies in the area including the expensive one near Hove station which is so hipstery even the fish have beards, we discovered the Sea Horse. And what a find. The batter they use on their fish and sausages is so cripsy, and thick. They serve you super quickly and they are extremely good value. In the hipster place near the station a large cod is £8 at the Seahorse it's £5 and I much prefer it! If you're reading reviews looking for a good chippy then give the sea horse a go you won't be disappointed. Top tip: I always collect to ensure freshness, and always ask for no salt and vinegar on the fish and crucially ask for the fish to be wrapped separately! 😉

Me and my dad have been coming for years. The best in Brighton ! If you can find a friendlier and a better quality of both fish & chips for value for money then goodluck!

So I came in and ordered 6 VEGETABLE rolls (for me and my pal who is vegetarians), after waiting 25 maybe longer maybe not, we went home only for me to bite into them and taste prawn and meat, it wasn’t a problem for me but this means my vegetarian friend could have bitten into it and eaten the meat and this isn’t acceptable, please do not false advertise or if this was a mistake please check ingredients and that staff are more careful
