Deanes has had a few reincarnations over the past 25+ years and I've dined at some point in most of them and the other satellite establishments [Deanes at Queens and Deans Deli, Meatlocker and Deanes Loves Fish]. MrDeanes is a lovely overhaul of the 3 restaurants and is very relaxing, spacious and pleasant. My wife and I were here for lunch and it was a great experience and the restaurant was very busy for a lunchtime. I enjoyed my duck fritter starter and the chickem parmigiana was very tasty and a nice tomato balance. My wife had the sea bass and it didn't last long. We will return prices were very reasonable. I advise booking.

Ordered on the website for a 5:30 collection food was ready exactly on time we had pie chips and a chicken burger unfortunately the burger which was nearly £6 was a dry bun and a grissly piece of chicken

Excellent fish... really flaky with light and crispy batter, very good crispy chips, and liked their mushy peas. Service was pleasant and seemed well organised. Tasted even better by the sea. Whilst it wasn't cheap, the portions were huge, and although only had small of each, we could have probably shared a portion of chips and peas between two of us. Would happily return.

Being local to Mhor fish I use it regularly and glad it got kept as a fish and chip restaurant and the food hasn't disappointed! Glad too the restaurant is open as always loved sitting in. Only thing thats a little disappointing is they say 12 till 9 7days per week, however that's been a couple times I've came after 12 like 20 minutes when they should be ready to serve, but they haven't other than that very good fish and chip shop and I recommend!

Brilliant location and building. The guy running it was amazing. Good and drinks excellent- we had pizzas - which were really good. His family members were helping and that added to a great atmosphere. Just great.

We turned up for our afternoon tea and was a birthday party full of around 14 women. We politely asked to be sat elsewhere and was accommodated for (didn't want to be awkward) The food itself was very pleasant and overall was a nice birthday gift Thank you

What a team you guys, from the second you enter till you leave you are made to feel welcome! Julie and Stacey looked after us well at the table, Sean made some amazing cocktails and Emma and Jake sent out the most delicious food! We will be back!

Lovely staff, delicious monkfish bites! This placed saved my lunch from the terrible food/service across the road. We only wish we’d all eaten there!

Spoilt for choice in Hunstanton ,there are a few fish and chip shops here,and we tried a few,this was clean inside,service was great,food was good,large portions and fresh,came with tea and bead butter,superb value for our money,most reasonable we found in Norfolk while walking. Decore is good.

This place never fails to impress, friendly staff and the food is outstanding. A real treat eating at The Cracking Crab and I have been a regular for the past 4 years. Look forward to my next trip next yhear.

I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant! Avoid at all costs! When we arrived on a Saturday evening at 7:30pm, I was told the only non-seafood option—a steak—was sold out. Left with no choice, I ordered a vegetarian dish, which arrived incorrectly and had to be sent back. This was frustrating and understandable but what happened next was beyond unacceptable! The table next to us, who arrived well after we did - around 30 minutes or so, was served a steak. To our confusion, we asked the manager how this was possible...Chris ("the manager") response was that the other table was a "regular" and had pre-ordered it. This was the first time we had heard of such a policy - wasn't stated online, on the menus or when called to make the reservation We explained how unfair this was, yet Chris simply said he "did not see it that way" and took no responsibility. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, and no attempt to correct the issue. Instead of offering an explanation, he refused to engage, dismissed our concerns outright, and walked away rather than be held accountable It got worse... The man who received the steak, was Chris’s friend as when the "manager" walked away, his friend made his way to our table and verbally abused us. Chris stood at the other end of the restaurant and watched, and did nothing. When we brought this to his attention, he acted as if it never happened. Instead of addressing the situation and helping us, he said he didn't see anything - once again lying. Our bill was presented to us without being requested as a clear gesture that our evening was over. I have never encountered such dishonesty, rudeness, and a complete lack of professionalism in hospitality. The way we were misled, and treated created a horrible memory and completely ruined our night. The "manager" Chris has no business being in customer service. Mourne Seafood should seriously reconsider who they allow to represent their restaurant. I will never be back, and I urge anyone who values fairness and respect to avoid this place at all costs.
