Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos explorando esta parte de la ciudad, el distrito de Old Swan de Liverpool cuando decidimos pasar por The Old Tavern y que gran hallazgo. Entrando y sabía que disfrutaría de mi visita aquí, el interior es magnífico, un llamativo bar iluminado domina la sala principal, bonito arte de la pared, una zona de escenario para la música en vivo, decoración pub y muebles y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por esta taberna, es solo un muy buen lugar para relajarse. Estábamos aquí en una tarde de febrero amargamente fría, teníamos un estudio de su gama de cervezas que debo decir que me impresionó, al final los dos optamos por tener Dortmunder pils, estos se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones siendo helados fríos y espumosos, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en esta taberna ocupada y popular mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. Mi cerveza era muy buena, un crujiente, pilas de oro, tan refrescante, cuando se sirve frío helado como en esta taberna es un estilo de cerveza tan encantador de hecho. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestras cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz para una primera visita a The Old Tavern nos quedamos totalmente impresionados. La taberna vieja es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Prescot Road. El horario de apertura es; Lunes, cerrado. Martes a jueves, abierto a partir de las 16 h. Viernes y sábado, abierto a partir de las 14:00. Domingo, abierto desde mediodía. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en el distrito Old Swan de Liverpool.

We called in after the Grand National and ended up staying for around 4 hours the staff were fantastic the landlord attentive and the atmosphere was fantastic. Really enjoyed it reasonable prices on drinks as well.

Ubicado en Slater Street está The Hatch, un bar en el que mi hermano gemelo y yo caímos mientras pasábamos por esta parte de la ciudad. Bar se ve bien , interior ordenado y ordenado y pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte además de un montón de opciones de asientos. Tomamos una cerveza cada uno, servido frío helado, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este bar ocupado y popular mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas que eran absolutamente deliciosos. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a The Hstch nos lo pasamos muy bien.

Nestled amongst woodland in close vicinity to bowling green & tennis courts. The setting is very quaint, snack type menus were very good & service polite, friendly & quick. A very enjoyable cafe, largely outdoors on a sunny day. It will be our go to cafe.

Love this place. Still to have breakfast here as we normally come here for lunch. Sometimes struggle to get a table inside it can be busy. The flatbreads are amazing and if you don’t want the fillings that they come with you can choose your own. Cajun chicken is favourite of mine. My girlfriend is a fan of the salad bowls. I’ve yet to try one but they do look good every time she gets one. Soup is spot on too. Recommend this place if you haven’t already tried.

I have eaten here a few times now, sometimes a full three course lunch but mostly for the coffee and a scone or cake. Always good food, consistently high quality coffee, the staff are friendly and polite. It is nice that everything is on the same level, and because of the big windows it is light. Toilets are modern and well maintained (excellent disabled facilities) and frequented by all ages from mother and toddlers to seniors. Lots of seating choices, even two areas to sit outside. It is the sort of place that could easily be visited regularly.

PASSED THIS PLACE MANY TIMES AND ONLY RECENTLY WAS IT RECOMENDED SO WE GAVE IT A TRY AND THE ITALIAN MELT AND PERI PERI LEBANESE WRAP WERE VERY TASTY, FRIENDLY STAFF AND A LOVELY SET UP, WILL RETURN

So gutted this place has closed down it was such an amazing place to go meet and make friends 😢 💔

Tigs was a last minute discovery when I was in Sheffield Centre waiting for a train. Just behind the Cathedral, Tigs offered a friendly welcome, excellent coffee and perfect bagels. The cakes looked good too and there were plentiful vegan options. The helpings were good value, with generous portions and interesting toppings.

We love this little Gem on the Highstreet. Our go-to fav is the peanut butter/banana protein shake. The overnight oats are so yummy too!! Staff are so lovely- Thanks! x

What an amazing resource this is and much needed, it is so good to be able to stop for refreshments in a friendly and welcoming environment. The menu is good and reasonably priced and the service is excellent This is the perfect venue, friendly and non intrusive but a listening ear if needed and the opportunity to meet others. Not everyone drives and having this cafe at the entrance is perfect for those coming on public transport or anyone just wanting a friendly Face and a drink hot meal or snack... Well done to the owner and staff.. North Tyneside council. This is a real asset and I hope it gets your continued support. Carol Mulrine

Wow what a lil gem! Open steak sandwich and homemade curry was absolutely delicious and the best brownie we have ever had! Lovely open fires,lovely staff ,atmosphere,decor…..can’t recommend highly enough…..will definitely be revisiting…x

What a pleasant surprise! I came here for some lunch to take out while at work one day and was expecting an average salad box as that is normally the standard for salads (and I’ve eaten a lot of salads) I was shocked when I opened the box to find proper, real, thick slices of ham, as well as plenty of mixed salad and fresh coleslaw. The whole thing was delicious and I will 100% be back for lunch again.

He pasado por aquí un par de veces para comer mientras que en el trabajo y está convertido rápidamente en un favorito, el cerdo tirada con baguettes de salsa barbacoa son absolutamente para morirse!

Escondido en la segunda planta de Kingly Court, este café vegetariano es parte de Triyoga y sirve comida sana, comida fresca como ensaladas, sopas, pasteles y galletas (sin gluten de campo). Es un espacio agradable y muy tranquilo y relajante como sus dos plantas por encima del bullicio del centro de Londres. Mientras que es imposible tener como selección mucho como detox cocina abajo, esto es una gran opción cuando es demasiado ocupado por allí.
